ATim Frank Septic Tank Cleaning CoI called Tim Frank to check out the septic in a foreclosure we had just purchased. The person on the phone was very helpful in answering my questions and setting up the appointment. The appointment was for 8:45 - 9:00 on Monday morning and Don was there just before 9:00. I explained to him that I knew very little about septic systems, having been a city dweller my whole life. Don was courteous and friendly while we walked the property and located the tank. Once the lid was off, he explained what he was doing and how the system worked. He also gave us tips to follow for proper care and maintenance of our system. In fact we have already recommended them to a family member who had hired another company that was unable to inspect her system.- Bob P.

AC & J SepticWe called them because the septic alarm in our year-old house was sounding. When we called they answered the phone right away and were able to give us a simple flat rate which was lower than the competition. They scheduled to come out the following morning. They arrived when they said they would and they did the job well. They were honest, letting us know that we probably could have gotten away with letting it go without cleaning for another year. They found that the real problem was not that the septic was overfull but that the pump and alarm were not installed properly. They explained the problem to my wife, but she was a little confused with some of the details. Since I needed to know exactly what was wrong so that I could report the problem to the contractor who built the house, I called them back and they took a good ten or fifteen minutes on the phone explaining it all to me. They were very patient, helpful, and friendly. I will most definitely be calling them in the future when we need them.- Steven D.

AMr. Rooter Plumbing of Zanesville & NewarkI called to have my septic tank pumped and was pleasantly surprised when I was told that someone would be out with the next two days. I was given a time frame of arrival, which was accurate. The gentleman who arrived was polite and professional. I showed him to the tank and offered to have him drive the truck through the yard, but he parked in the driveway and ran hose to the tank instead because he was afraid the damp grass would tear up the yard (it was still early with dew on the ground). He dug a small hole to access the pumping point, which he covered up before leaving. He also removed the aerator and cleaned it also. The whole process took less than an hour. Even though I did not purchase the aerator from his company, the service man advised me of a crack in the aerator and made arrangements for return to the manufacturer for repair as it was still under warranty. I really appreciated him going above and beyond.- Lindsay W.

ARt ConstructionOur septic tank outflow had been shown to be blocked. Randy Tabler (RT Construction), came out to inspect the situation, made recommendations, and provided a very reasonable estimate. He then showed up on the appointed day, and dug a new trench, laid new piping, and as part of this piping, installed a chlorinator, then covered everything. I had expected this to take at least 2 days, but he had everything done on one day. The completed job looks a mess now, but with time, the piled up dirt will settle and everything should look good again. I am pleased with this job, and the time it was done in.- John K.

FDelta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.
