    Ben Waters Services & Painting
I can't say enough good things about Ben Waters Services.  They were pleasant, helpful, and we definitely got our money's worth.  They worked long hours and even on weekends to get the job done in a timely manner.  I had gotten two other bids from painters in town and thought their quotes were outrageous.  Ben was very reasonable.  He also made sure I was happy with everything, when the job was done.  The crew cleaned up after the job was completed, too, which was a big plus.
We have a brick house, but the trim and doors, etc., hadn't been painted in over twenty years.  The cedar over the porch was in very bad shape.  We added an addition onto the house and nothing matched the old part of the house.  Everything looked pretty run down.
Due to their powerwashing, spraypainting and other painting techniques, everything looks new.  My front door and screen door and my porch look awesome.  But the most outstanding was our new deck!  It really looks exceptional, and I couldn't be happier.  They did such a good job, my neighbor is now talking to Ben about hiring him!
I now have a home I can be proud of, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr. Waters.

We contacted Ben on a Monday, he came to give us an estimate the following day and began service on a Thursday afternoon, by Sunday he had completed the entire job. They worked all weekend long because of the weather forecast the coming week and not wanting us to have a house half torn apart, with 3 children we greatly appreciate that!! Ben and his crew did an amazing job on our house and it looks brand new!!! They were very professional and easy to work with, we got exactly what we wanted and more than we expected. We will definitely be using Ben and his crew again for future painting needs!

Didn't go well at all!!  Took him around 3 months to get the job done.  I had to threaten to turn him in to the Better Business Bureau, if he didn't complete the job.  He made a horrible mess of the property and the neighbors property, when he power washed the house. He had paint chips all over the neighbors central air unit and windows.  He didn't put any kind of tarp down in my flower bed and ruined the solar lights in the flower bed and when he FINALLY completed the job, he just went out and bought a bag of mulch and threw it down on the flower bed to cover all the paint chips and strips that blew off when power washing.  I would NEVER us Ben Waters again or ever recommend him to anyone.  Years ago I was told her was good, so I'm not sure what happened, for him to do such a irresponsible job and take 3 months to get done.  He required 1/2 down to get started, cashed it the same day and it was a month later before he began and just kept dragging it out.  It was a very  nerve racking 3 months!!
Would like to add, that he kept asking me to put good feedback in Angie's List for him, so I did, because I didn't want to upset him and not get my job completed!!

After several attempts we finally managed to get together and agree on a price. I never did get a formal contract he kept saying he couldn't get to his template. I paid half the amount at the beginning of the project. I knew I was gong to be out of town so I did ask if he was going to start to paint the house and stop and go to other houses before mine was complete. After pressure washing the house and priming 1/3 of the house he decided to paint the neighbors house and finish it. Finally he started to paint on my house again. He had the entire house painted in one day. When he was finished on a Monday afternoon he called me at work and said he was done and wanted the other half of his payment. I told him I had to walk around the house and look at his job first. Monday when I got off work I went to the house. I found the mailbox on the ground, half the  house numbers were missing, and a piece of slate roof was knocked over. I had to leave town which is why I asked him to finish the house first before starting another job.  When I returned to work on Thursday morning I had several phone messages from him. I had to go to a meeting so I could only listen to 2 of them. After the meeting I was listening to 2 more phone messages from him when the receptionist called me and said an angry man was in the lobby demanding his money. I went to the lobby and asked him to go to one of our conference rooms where we could talk like professionals. He was very distraught. I explained the small things I wanted fixed. (the mailbox re-hung, the numbers put back up and the slate roof put back into place. He argued that he did not knock the slate loose and that he painted the soffits himself. I asked him 3 times if he did paint the soffits himself which he answered YES!. Then I informed him that this house did not have soffits. I mentioned to him that I had to call the building inspector because he had painted over the vent from the water heater and I wanted to make sure no one would die from carbon monoxide. The inspector told me it was probably okay but they never should have been painted  to which he said they always paint them. The house looks fair but I am not sure how long the paint will last. Probably only 2 years but I could be wrong. It could last longer. My main complaint is you do not go to someone's place of employment and demand to see them and get your money. I did pay him just to get rid of him and he swore on his word that he would fix the problems by Tuesday of the next week. Which he did by Thursday of the next week. I will NEVER hire this company or this person to paint for me again. After all of this he had the never to email me and ask me to give him a good review as his reputation was important to him. I guess it is only important before he stars a job and before he gets a review on Angie's list. He also said he painted for my employer which was just not true. I had our Accounts payable department check and he is not in our supplier master. I did notice that some of his reviews were from relatives and on another review he painted their neighbors house also. I really do not like to give negative reviews but I wanted to make sure whoever hires this company next knows what to expect.

Everything went  very well . He had to come twice to cut the drywall patch it let it dry. He started  and got what he needed to get it done.  He was in and out, which helped with everything  being moved out and in a temporary mess. But they moved it all back and was quick and efficient . So I was happy how fast the job went.

Ben is absolutely one of the nicest people to work with. He arrived on time, provided great workers, and made it his goal to make us happy with his work. The work was top-notch and he checked back in with us after the job was completed to make sure we were happy with
Everything. Will most definitely use their services in the future!

The project was difficult because of the age of the first property and the paint that was chipping off. The powerwashing was a mess but they did a great job! Painting took a bit more time on this house but it was worth their extra effort. The house next door also was washed and painted. They look new and have added $ 10,000  in value to my homes.
