He showed up in an unmarked vehicle so none of my noisey, but well meaning neighbors knew what was going on. I sure didn't want anyone to know a babysitter brought in bedbugs. FI actually got an immediate call from Devlin Pest Control, I think was the name of company. Person was friendly and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable but am not sure it would fix the problem due to my feeding the squirrels and birds massive quantities of seeds over the years. The rats come with the package. YUCK Not sure where to go from here. I did not hear from other business suggested by Angie's List.

APatrick came to our home 10 minutes early. He is a very knowledgeable man about all types of pests and bugs. He went through our home doing a in depth inspection. He then gave us the facts regarding our situation and explained the whole procedure to help us. The quote he gave us was a guarantee that did not expire until the job was completed. That included any and all retreats! We were more than pleased with Patrick! His knowledge and professionalism was excellent! I would definitely recommend and have to my friends and family for any issues they are having.

AI went with this company because I realized I had bed bugs and was terrified. Tom (the owner) answered my call and was ready to treat my home immediately. He responded quickly to all my questions when preparing for the treatment. The heat treatment was thorough yet efficient and pics were sent proving the 140+ degree temperature in each room of my home. Treatment was Friday, October 11th and I'm still bed bug free!

FI saw what I thought was a mouse at the foundation of my home. Called Prevent Pest Control to come out and see. They told me they would come out check for mice & setup bait station & I had to buy the bait station. Man came out that same day and I told him where I saw the mouse/activity at the outside foundation of my home. He gave me some sticky traps to setup in my garage & put the bait station at the opposite side of my home where I did not see any activity. A couple of days later I saw more mice running around my foundation. I called another pest control service & they came out & saw right away that I did not have mice but voles. They setup bait station all around my home & in my garage even checked inside my home for any pests. Prevent Control did not even know a mouse from a vole and never checked inside of my home. Prevent charged me approx. $240.00 for doing nothing.

FWe have refused to pay the bill. He did not fulfill any of the obligations he was hired for, which included a $150 quote, and removing a female raccoon, her babies and any other raccoon safely without harm then or later. We called many places to make sure that no one would harm any animal on the property in any way—which he assured us of, and why he was hired—yet he coldheartedly and inhumanely threw a trapped, terrified, young boy raccoon, which was caught instead, into the back of his truck, after becoming instantly furious when I told I had opened the front window of the basement (which ironically, was how the female took all of her babies and left), and stomping off the job in a rage, saying he would never be back. When I had to ask him twice what he was going to do with the young, trapped animal (after he assured us this was a "No Kill" company) as he was leaving, he menacingly smiled and replied, "He's going to a better place." We understand now why he stomped off the job in a crazy fit—we rudely found out from this bill and from 'Angie's List' complaint that he charges for every visit, instead of a one-time charge as we were led to believe, and why he do not have/and does not sign any agreement. This is also why he was so furious that I opened the window and the mother raccoon was able to take her babies and leave on her own accord. Thus, he charged 2x more than their quote (and would have charged much more, had I not opened the window), did not do the job, stomped off the job in a rage, would not listen to any reason or anything we had to say about the raccoons, and obviously is an unstable, unkind, control junkie—and very possibly why no innocent animal or child should be near him. We will not pay the bill, and have submitted this complaint to the Hillsdale, MI and Brian, OH authorities. We were charged $288.00 for a quoted job of $150, and the mother racoon and babies were not caught, but left on their own. We are also very fearful of what this man did to the young boy racoon that was caught.

BOwner is hands on, experienced, and easy to talk to. Rated price (per application) fair as I have not comparison shopped, but began using the service because several neighbors use same provider. Weeds are well controlled and lawn is healthier. I expect to continue using the service though I may comparison shop to verify pricing is within range of other providers. If pricing is comparable, I will continue using service.
