    Lake Shore Seamless Gutters
We were hit by a tornado and was told by inspectors we needed a new roof and that our decking was lifted. We contacted Lake Shore Seamless Gutter's due to their ratings on BBB, Home Advisor and Angie's List. Mike Rollins, the owner, came out to bid the job and spoke with both my husband and I. Mike stated when he was in the attic that he would put 3/4 inch osb on the roof that the other people who did our roof put too thin of plywood on it and thats why it was lifted. He also stated that he would put in new center supports and rafter in if he saw any issues with the others. Mind you the roof was done 5 years prior to this. Mike also stated that the gutters come for free for doing the roof and that since our house was so long in the back he would put in another down spout in the center so that we dont get a sag. He also felt the liberty to mention that his workers smoke marijuana but they dont do it on the job ( didnt understand this), we stated its non of our business what they do on their own time. We agreed to all of this and it sounded like a great deal so obviously we accepted him and hired him. After the estimate was submitted to the insurance company he started to text me constantly asking when they were going to cut the checks so that he could order the materials, which i have ALL the texts that was ever sent back and forth for legalities if this ever gets that far. The harassment continued until I got on the insurance companies nerves so bad we were on a first name basis, I explained to my adjuster the situation and the faster the better because this guy wouldnt leave me alone about the money. Once the money was sent to the mortgage company and it was cut to us to give to him he ordered the materials. The osb shows up July 15th and its 7/16...ugh so one lie. I confront him about it he states that all contractors use 7/16 and with the tin it would be too much weight on the trusses...we said ok. We kept getting told dates of when they would start and they wouldnt show up. Finally on July 23rd they tore off the shingles and the PLYWOOD and starting putting the osb down, I did smell a hint of marijuana on the first day but nothing after that. We were told that would be a one day job so that I didnt have to call off due to me working from home and need quiet. Wednesday July 24th I had to call off due to noise of putting vapor barrier on the roof because they didnt get it done. We were expecting rain and I was questioning about the vapor barrier and worried about the house incurring water damage if it leaks since the tin wasnt here. I went into the attic and there I saw the BIGGEST MESS of my life, they left an entire rafter in my attic along with huge chunks of plywood and a center support gone and was just going to leave it there and not say anything about it until i mentioned it and then they went up there with a circular saw and had to cut it in chunks to get it out because they already had the osb on. I then found out that my electric garage door wasnt working after they had been up there, i have a junction box up there that didnt have a cover on it that looked as though someone stepped on it. I have an outlet that the garage door plugs into in the ceiling of the garage and looked in the attic on the backside of the plug and they broke the board that was covering it to protect it which cause the breaker in the breaker box to trip. During this whole time is asking about the other check and when will it be cut. I kept telling him that it wont be cut until the job is done to our satisfaction and it gets inspected. The tin kept being promised and promised with no delivery, then after I bugged him about it he gave me the number to the supplier and I talked to them personally and they explained the situation to me and it was NOTHING what he told me. He explained to me that it was coming from Alabama and that it was the ONLY steel supplier that supplies the entire united states in steel coils because they took all the smelting pots out. I did my research and there are actually 5 companies that supply steel in the united states (another lie), he then proceeded to tell me there was something wrong with getting the tin painted, the supplier said that was a lie, they didnt have enough to do our job so they had to order more then paint it. All the while we dont have a roof just osb and vapor barrier, and no siding put on yet either cause they were quick to rip it off but extremely slow to put it back on. He was to fix all soffits and downspouts as well including the garage. When the garage was finished being repaired by a different contractor, he questioned about the soffit, i explained to him that he was the one that was supposed to fix all soffits and gutters, and downspouts as stated in the contract, he didn't like that and expected the other contractors to do it until i told him its in the contract. On a couple of the days the guys left at 2 or 230 when there was obvious work to be done, on one occasion i understood becuase it was too windy to put the tin on ONCE it got here, but the siding could have been done on the side of the house. The gutters were just finished on Friday August 2nd, We had our first rain last night, the gutters were leaking behind them against the fascia. I took pictures and sent him a text about it and explained to him that the bolts were still missing out of the rot iron, he said he would come over today (Monday) and tighten up the gutters and replace the bolts. I went out with my video on since our relationship had went sour long ago, and he proceeded to yell at me, threaten me, and say that all I ever did was harass him since day one. He made me so afraid I though about calling the police and reporting him, instead i told him we'll see about your last check and went in the house and stayed until they left. the video is attached along with pictures. They left before i could go back out with the garden hose to see if the gutters would leak. I felt intimidated after the altercation took place so i never went back outside, but we got a rain storm that night and the gutters leaked behind them, which the ones that were hit by the tornado never did they were just bent up and the downs were torn off. the last pictures are them calling themselves fixing the leaks. they should not be able to pay for their ratings but they admitted to me that they do. i also have videos of what they did and how they treated me and my husband.
