It went well. They were ready to tow my vehicle within minutes of my just stopping by. My vehicle was ready the next afternoon. A few days later, I thought I was experiencing the same problem I had them fix. They took the vehicle in and looked at it right away, no hesitation. They even allowed me to inspect the problem with them. No additional problem was found and I haven't had any concerns since.

Perfectly. He did it while I waited on my way home from work. I've been going to Howard for 6 years. He is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable, and extremely reasonably priced. He knows his stuff and never tries to talk you into anything you don't need. I've honestly never had a better mechanic. I tend to keep my cars for 15 years, so I've had a lot of experience.

There service manager was easy to understand as he explained what the problem was and how they would fix it. He scheduled an appointment at my convenience and had the job completed in about 2.5 hrs. The mechanic took the vehicle for a test drive after diagnosis and again after work completed. Waiting was comfortable with reading material and a TV with my choice of channels. The owner offered some friendly chit chat and kept me informed of the progress while sharing his experience with different types of gas, fuel products and auto maintenance to improve the life of the vehicle. The work was supervised by the manager who check on the progress reporting back each step of the repair. It was checked by the manager before turning it back to me. I am very please with their quality of work. Job was priced fairly. Missing screws, washers, etc. not related to the repair were replaced at no charge. I have used this service many times in the past 20 years because they are honest, friendly diagnosis the problem and charge what they estimate.

Bottom line, I feel I was wronged and lost money working with Larchmere and would not recommend them to anyone. I had to return to another autobody shop within two weeks because of poor and incomplete service. The staff is very friendly, but I judge a business by how it responds to adversity and difficult situations. Below is my experience: Background: My car would not start. It appeared to me to be a battery issue resulting from me removing a speaker in my car. They diagnosed the issue as a crank problem and were able to get the car to start. It turned out my speaker was on the same fuse as my transmission and it had blown. They identified a handful of other issues that needed to be addressed. They complete the work (so I thought). Aftermath Issue 1: When the work was completed, I found they had accidentally removed my bluetooth speaker system. Jacob (the face to the customer) told me to bring it in, but said they wouldn't waive the cost of the repair, even though this was not something I had requested. He stated that the maintenance order told mechanics to remove all aftermarket audio parts, which it must have, but the maintenance order was written by him and not based on my instruction -- I only instructed the removal of my subwoofer system wires. While the mistake was on his end, his holier than thou mentality made him unwilling to recognize his fault or rectify his wrong. It would have been easy to waive the cost and make the repair at no charge due to the mistake and try to build a customer-first brand, but alas. Aftermath Issue 2: The initial problem, my car not starting, repeated 10 days later later due to a dead battery. While they were right in correcting the fuse / transmission issues, they failed to recognize the need to replace my battery, even though this was my initial request. They told me I needed to bring it in at a charge of $80 to identify any broader issues and that a battery would cost $500+. Breaking down the main issues: 1. I had already requested them to replace my battery and they told me it was fine. It was not fine. 2. Charging me a fee to have the problem identified, following spending ~$2k 10 days prior and after having already screwing me over on the bluetooth issue. 3. Suggesting a $500 battery for a 10-year old modest Audi A4 with 130k miles was appropriate. That is just an unprecedented level of greed. I mean the hubris! How is this helping the customer, I had already told him that I was only planning on driving this vehicle for a few more years before I'd trade it in. The factory installed battery that lasted me over 10-years costs a fraction of this. In conclusion, sub-par work, excessive greed, and an inability to take ownership of mistakes has made it impossible for me to work, or suggest others to work, with them in the future. They put on a nice facade but in reality they lack professionalism or accountability when rubber hits the road.

I don't think there was a charge. I think we were okay. We've been using them for years and they are so good. I would recommend them to anyone. They are responsible. They are always ready to help you. They're honest. I can't imagine anybody else giving better service than they do.

Ms. Ivy never directly answered my simple, detailed questions about how the lease numbers were calculated, so I could not compare their offer with offers from other dealers. The Acquisition Fee was given as $895, which is $300 over the standard Honda number of $595. Don't trust their numbers. Caveat emptor here, people!

My husband goes to Crestmont Cadillac, but I think they are too expensive. My husband will use them again. They could be nicer to women, more respectful. They could lower their prices. See I have a PT Cruiser, and my husband has a Chevy. We were going there because they used to handle Chrysler, which is my PT Cruiser. So, I still take it there because they did it in the past. I would never like buy a car from them or anything like that. When my husband calls for something he gets immediate attention and action. When I call, nah, whatever. I think men are pretty much that way.

I would give them an ?A? for a whole lot of things. The thing that is best about this place is that their service bay is opened till 2:00am, so that you can take the car in after work. If you wish, you can sit in their lounge, it?s a beautiful place and watch tv or use the computer until their work is done. You don?t have to miss work and you don?t have to find someone to transport you to and from. They?ve been that way for the last several years. I don?t know of any place else that is opened till 2:00am or 3:00am for service. It?s a fantastic resource now.

We?ve been involved with them for at least 12 years, more than that because we bought that 2002 car from them, so that?s already 15 years ago. They are higher than I could get it done by an independent mechanic. I can call them in the morning with something minor and usually get an appointment for that evening. Usually, they get to the car when I go in the appointed time. If I were to call right now and had something that needed work, at least needed an evaluation, I?m sure I could get an appointment for 10:00 this evening. It would be an appointment and they would take the car immediately when I got there because it was appointed to be there. They?re punctual.

I?m guessing it may have been no more than $100 or $150. They did the whole maintenance check and found some things that were optional to be done. The optional things for now I didn?t have them done because they really were optional. They have been fairly good about that and that?s important. If there is work that needs to be done, they have told me whether it?s something that really needs to be done or it doesn?t need to be done for that matter at all.

They were good on price. They’ve done a variety of services for me on a number of cars that I have had. I have always been happy with the quality of work, professionalism, responsiveness, any concerns I might have. I really couldn’t ask for much more. I don’t feel like they have me do things that I don’t need done on the car. The communication is very good.

This was my first time using this car service center and I am totally impressed with the courteous and professional demeanor of everyone on staff. Tom explained everything in detail and he uses adavanced equipment for diagnostics. He was very kind kind and personable as well. After having horrible experiences at a dealership, I found the service here to be far superior and far more reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend their services. 5 star all the way. I will never go anywhere else for car repairs.
