    The 'Rewards' tab on the Expedia web site defines how points are earned at 3 points/$1. spent for packages that include a flight/hotel/car. My reward points did not increase after I added the car to my package. The Expedia agent informed me that points are time sensitive and are only earned at the time the package is originally booked, any other travel segments added do not change the points for the package.

    The time requirement to earn 'rewards points' the Expedia agent told me is NOT anywhere on the Expedia web site.
    The time requirement was not mentioned to me by the Expedia agent who originally booked my package. Expedia promotes the Rewards Points as a reward for booking multiple travel segments through them. The rewards are valuable for future travel.
    Expedia is DECEPTIVE to not publish on their web site or explain by an agent who books your trip that this value only occurs if all travel segments are booked at the same time.

    I sent an email via the 'itinerary assistance email form'. The response I received did not answer my question but only restated the time requirement which is not in print. I emailed a reply to that but did not receive an answer. I called Expedia to speak to Customer service as they promise a response within 24 hours and it had been 5 days. Customer service said they would resubmit my question to their corporate level. I have not heard a response in a week. I canceled my car reservation with them and I called to cancel the hotel portion of my trip which an agent told me I could do since I had not paid in full yet. After I confirmed the same hotel directly I called back Expedia to cancel my hotel and was told it would cancel my entire package.

    Expedia is Deceptive and Disorganized. It appears they change their policy on a whim and their web site is NOT accurate.

    PAM IS EXCEPTIONALLY SKILLED AT LEARNING THE CUSTOMER'S INTERESTS AND FINDING A CRUISE TO MATCH. SHE SPENT AMPLE TIME PROVIDING QUOTES AND INFO ON THE SHIPS, EVEN SHOWING US PHOTOGRAPHS AND SENDING US VIDEOS TO HELP US CHOOSE. AFTER WE BOOKED, HER SERVICE WAS STILL TERRIFIC, HELPING US BOOK SHORE EXCURSIONS, ETC. SHE WAS ALWAYS PROMPT RESPONDING TO OUR CALLS. HER PRICES ARE COMPETITIVE AND HER SERVICE CAN'T BE BEAT.

    THE SERVICE AT INDEPENDENCE (CARLSON WAGONLIT) TRAVEL WAS EXCELLENT WHEN I WAS GETTING PRICE QUOTES ON TICKETS. ONCE CORINNE HAD MY MONEY (AND A $35 SERVICE FEE PER TICKET), HOWEVER, THE SERVICE DROPPED SHARPLY. I HAD REQUESTED CONFIRMATION MAILED TO ME FOR THE E-TICKETS. WHEN I'D RECEIVED NOTHING AFTER A FEW WEEKS, I CALLED BACK AND RECEIVED AN INCOMPLETE E-MAIL CONFIRMATION. I HAD TO GO IN PERSON TO GET WHAT I'D REQUESTED. WORST OF ALL, CORINNE FAILED TO BOOK THE INFANT'S TICKET. THIS SUPPOSEDLY EXPERIENCED TRAVEL AGENT TOLD ME TO ''PLAY DUMB'' AT THE AIRPORT AND MAYBE I WOULDN'T GET CHARGED. THIS SOUNDED RISKY, SO I CHECKED WITH A FRIEND IN THE AIRLINE BUSINESS, WHO SAID I WOULD RUN INTO PROBLEMS IF I DID THIS, ESPECIALLY OVERSEAS. THE BABY'S TICKET ENDED UP COSTING MORE THAN HER ORIGINAL QUOTE, ALL BECAUSE OF HER MISTAKE! SHE EVEN CHARGED IT TO MY CREDIT CARD BEFORE TELLING ME THE PRICE.

    MY NEEDS WERE HANDLED VERY WELL BY THIS AGENCY. NOT ONLY DID THEY FIND A GREAT BARGAIN THAT WAS WITHIN MY BUDGET FOR THIS GIFT, THEY TOOK CARE OF ALL PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS AND PAPERWORK SO THAT I JUST HAD TO HAND THE ENVELOPE CONTAINING THE TICKETS AND VOUCHERS OVER TO THE RECIPIENT. THEY HAVE ARRANGEMENTS WITH DIFFERENT CHARTER COMPANIES AND THEY NEGOTIATE A BETTER DEAL ON SOME OF THE AIRPLANE SEATS. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICES AND SO WAS THE RECIPIENT OF THE GIFT!
