We originally spoke to a rep from the company at the Home and Garden Show. We were impressed with the quality of the materials they used. We then had Michele out to our home to help with the design and provide us with a quote for the project. We ended up having a total of 5 companies give a quote for the project and they had a very competitive price. Michele was able to make our vision and all of our special requests come to life. We had them finish our roughed in full bath, install a kitchenette with water for the fridge and water/drain for the sink. The finished part of our basement was about 900sq ft. One of the things I loved about this company was that we were able to supply materials if we preferred or we could use the standard ones they supplied. The ones they supplied were perfectly fine, but we wanted to match a few items from the rest of the house and customize a few things to make the basement our style. We ended up supplying the doors, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity and light fixture, shower insert, and flooring. The Basement Guys installed everything. The plumber and electrician did a very good job and accommodated all of our requests beautifully. We added extra lighting and outlets in the unfinished area for storage for functionality. We had a few guys working on our basement but Jon was my main contact person. Any concerns I had, I spoke with Jon and he made sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. Jon was incredibly responsive and produced and excellent final quality for our basement. Both Michele and Jon were a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them to others looking to create your dream basement living environment! We are still working on painting, but will post pictures soon. We are very excited to start enjoying our new basement in the very near future. The cost below is what cost we paid to The Basement Guys for the material for walls, trim, and labor. We had additional costs for the items we provided. Had we not provided the doors, vanity, lighting, shower insert or floors, the cost (no kitchen area) would have been about $7000 more through the quote with The Basement Guys. Our total costs were $45000 including the kitchen area ($13000 for cabinets, sink, faucet, and countertops).

James D'Angelo of Mister Mason removed the five foot stone step and the crumbling decorative white brick work riser and replaced with perfectly matching new white bricks and new stone step. He did the work in under two hours, then also went up on my roof to inspect my brick chimney. He reported the chimney was in good condition, no work needed on it. He came back the next day to inspect the job and be sure the mortar had set properly. He cleaned up the area very well when he was done. Final bill exactly matched the advance estimate he had given me. Very professional job.

Requested an estimate and due to my work schedule was grateful the owner was able to look at the project on a Saturday. We discussed the situation and our long-term plans for the house and he explained three different options to consider. Within a few days I had quotes for each option and elected to go the repair route vs. replacing everything. It was still a substantial job and I was worried about matching the brick but was very pleased with the results. The work was done promptly and professionally and we're very happy with the results.

Very well! Scott showed up when he said he would, gave me a fair estimate, did a meticulous job of repairing my backyard fireplace and all the loose mortar on my brick ranch. I was very pleased with his work!

They were transparent about their timing of when they thought they could start work. They kept in contact with me about potential job delays, etc. They completed the job very close to their estimated time of completion and the work was of high quality. I would definitely recommend this company to other homeowners and I plan to use them going forward.

Everything was amazing! I'm very OCD and it was great to work with a business that was on the ball with calling back and keeping me in the loop with details. They worked with our time schedules and got the job done quick and perfect.

Jim & his son removed old bricks, mortar, and debris from a nearly collapsed front wall and deteriorating side walls of a brick porch and rebuilt in one day.  He estimated the job about 2 weeks prior and made a verbal commitment to do the job on a Saturday for $850.00.  He arrived at 8:00 am on the scheduled Saturday, brought all necessary materials, and did an excellent repair job.  The porch looks great.
Jim was diligent in removing old bricks, mortar, vines, and other debris from the porch area and did not leave any mess after the job was completed.  He also scraped old mortar off some of the original bricks that were in usable condition and reused in the rebuilt wall.
I recently recommended to a neighbor who hired Jim to do masonary repairs and would hire Jim again if the need for masonary repair arises.

Wayne came in and fixed cracked mortar in my basement. I contacted three masonry companies on Angie's list and Wayne responded immediately and came out quickly to do the repair work. He explained exactly what he was going to do and what I would need to do after the repair work had cured. Was very pleased.

2 men came out exactly at 10:00 a.m.(as was promised) and left at 4:30 p.m.

They were polite.  They were neat and cleaned up after themselves.

When they were working in the house and grinding out the mortar they put up a plastic tarp to maintain the dust and also had a vacuum cleaner going all the while so they could catch any debris they might have created.

They only took 1/2 hr. for lunch and informed me when they were leaving.

I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Advanced Masonary provided an estimate and advice for the work needed. After exceptance of the quote Tony notified me in advance when they would start work. I already left for work when Advance Masonary started the project and they were complete before I returned home. Tony from Advance Masonary called to let me no they were complete and that all went well. Due to the steep pitch of the roof and the location of the chimney the project was not as easy as it might sound.
Advanced Masonary did a very good job, everything went as planned, thourgh clean up. I would use Advance Masonary again and would recommend the company to my friends!
