  • AC went down on 95 degree day, Broadview Heating was backed up with customers but willing to send someone. Even though they came to work on my AC at 7:00 PM, they did not charge me overtime pay, but the regular hours as I made the appointment the day before. That was very nice of them. This first time customer is impressed! Also, Kurt, the guy who did the repair was prompt, professional, great guy. I will bring Broadview back to my home if I need AC/furnace work because I trust him. I conversing with Kurt, I am confident I will get the straight story on any potential repairs or replacements.

  • I called Len's for my annual spring check up on two air conditioners. Got an appointment that fit my schedule. I was told technician would be out between 11 am and 1 pm. Tech called me shortly before 11, said he would arrive in about 20 minutes. He arrived shortly after 11. He replaced the air filters on both my furnaces with spares I had on hand, checked the main A/C units in the basement; checked the thermostats, replaced two triple-A batteries in one thermostat with ones he had in the truck, Checked and tested the outside A/C condenser and fan units. Everything okay for another cooling season. Tech gave me a $10 promotional credit on EACH of the two units he checked, and paper forms for me to submit to my electric company for an additional $50 rebate credit for EACH unit on my electric account. Tech was prompt, professional, and left everything clean and neat.

  • I built a fully custom home and hired Suburban Mechanical to install the complete HVAC system. They did not install a lot of equipment per manufacturers recommendations and I now I am stuck with a system that doesn't properly function. I attempted numerous times to contact them, but I keep getting the same response that they will be out in a couple weeks. I finally gave up and disputed their payment with the credit card company. The credit card company performed their investigation and deemed that Suburban Mechanical was at fault and refunded their final payment. My next step is to hire another HVAC contractor to finish the work and then take legal action against Suburban Mechanical. They have a very unprofessional team that argued with my general contractor. If you do use Suburban Mechanical, please make sure to pay with a credit card so that you can get your money back when they do something wrong.

  • On October 5th I met with a Len's Heating and Air Conditioner estimator. He determined what capacity my house would need and any other relevant factors, then reviewed various makes and models of new furnace and A/C with me. I decided on the models I wanted, and was given an estimate of $5,900.00 for the entire job. On October 12th a crew of technicians came out around 8:30 am. They removed my old furnace and A/C, and completely installed the new furnace and air conditioner, a condensate pump, and a new digital thermostat, and re-installed my previous, still good Aprilaire humidifier. The work was completely done at 3:00 pm. They hauled away the old furnace, A/C, and all rubbish. Final price was exactly as estimated, $5,900.00. Payment was by check - they let me know when I got the estimate that it would be a bit more if paying by credit card. Crew was very professional.

  • Quote was lower than competitors, who wanted to itemize everything. Took 3 days, workers covered areas they needed to walk, answered questions, met all our needs. All debris bagged and removed. Needed to reroute furnace exhaust from chimney to wall and air conditioner from back to side of house. Checked function of high end systems. City inspector commented on quality of work.

  • Great! They removed the old tank and installed new hot/cold valves. I had them return a few weeks later after I tiled the floor to install a new Rheem Pro hot water tank. Very nice job. I have used them many times over the years and they always do excellent work.

  • I would definitely use them again. We have a maintenance contract with them. The lad that came out had diagnosed an issue in the winter with our furnace and that our gas line had water in it. All of the other people that came out had no clue and kept pointing their fingers at other things. The guy from RJ said that there was water in the line because not enough gas was getting through.

  • They took care of everything, cleaned up, kept us informed with what they were doing and when they had to go get more parts kept us informed. It took us a few weeks because of the weather but they kept us very informed. Overall a good experience.

  • GREAT!! one more great review for Sal's but honestly this company is the best. Our elderly sister is an invalid with health problems and when her a/c broke on the hottest day they were out that evening. They priced everything fairly and didnt take advantage that it was a weekend, after hours, and the hottest day of the year. Sal's truly is the best company.
