This was the third time we have had On-Call Waterproofing at our house (all separate and different projects) They have been great every time! Always very responsive, timely & professional crew! Would most definitely hire back and recommend to anyone

Frank was the seventh contractor I called and the first one who could come out and quote on the job. He provided a quote that was very reasonable. Frank personally worked on the breakout, pre-set-up and pour of our driveway apron and sidewalk squares. He took care of all of the inspections with the city. The work turned out fantastic and he got our job done within our deadline for the city. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking cement contractor. Thank you for getting this job done on time for us!

Sal would never be on time for his appointments and would never call to say that he is running late. When he did turn up, instead of apologizing, he would just start telling me that he is as busy as a brain surgeon and implying that he is doing me a favor by keeping his appointment.
During the day of the job he asked me for more money than the original quote and said ?you have to pay more if you want a good job done?.  When I tried to discuss the issue, he got angry and started talking rudely. I then just told him to get the work done and I will pay more money as I didn't want a  lousy job.
My worst experience ever working with a contractor !

They promptly, professionally jack hammered through the basement concrete floor,  ~18" where the  floor meets the walls.  Next, they lay a 5" drain pipe, filled with gravel, covered by  cement.  The perimeter of this system drained to a sump pump, which pumped water up an out of the house.  It took 4 days, but we are happy.  The only thing that matters, is how it will work in 5, 10 years.  I recommend B-Dry.

They were prompt and professional.  Communication and responsiveness was the best I have had.  The job was well done. They made sure the sidewalks had a slight pitch to them so that water would go away from the house.  I would contact them again.

Dan met me at the site at an agreed to time - provided a written estimate with an explanation of the work and how he planned to do the job.  Job was completed as described.  They left the work site cleaned up like they were not even there.
Price was competitive, they showed up when they said they would be there, and I was satisfied with the quality of the work.  The only glitch, which I considered minor, was I requested a copy of the city building permit which I think they just forgot to provide for me.   I know it was issued though because the only minor hold-up in the the whole process was waiting for the city inspector to come and approve the site preparation prior to the cement pour.

Updated on 10-22-13   I Received a copy of the building permit in the mail today.  Thanks Dan, I appreciate the follow up...

    He was horrible!
We were given a proposal in late March and were told work would be done by early May. Every time we called, it was another month added to the timeframe. By the time they told us maybe in July, we complained. Lori in the office sounded so proud when she told us that we were doing good since they were still working on jobs from the previous year!
This place pads their calendar with jobs they know they will never get to.
Oh, and don't fall for the you owe us a cancellation fee. If they can't show a loss, you owe them NOTHING!

Greg, the owner, returned calls quickly and kept me updated as to scheduling. Greg was upfront about pricing and honest. There were some delays but those were due to weather issues. The workers were punctual and professional and did a fantastic job! Overall, the job went smoothly.

They are a neighborhood company. They seem to know what they are doing and I was happy with the concrete work. They put a slight tilt in the patio so that it drains away from the house. They knew the local building requirements. It has been 6 years and everything is holding up fine.

Mardan called and came in April to do the job. They had the same guys on the crew, took care of all permits and inspections. They removed all the old concrete, set up the forms and prepared for the new concrete. A few small changes needed to be made because of how we wanted it done. Dan made the changes without a problem or issue. The whole job only took three days start to finish and looks good. It was a lot of concrete to pour so he split it up over two days, again this crew works hard to do a nice job.Dan also came back a few days later to seal the drive again. Overall we are very pleased with  Mardan Cement, they work hard, they clean up well and do a good job.
