Appliance Repair reviews in Seven Hills

With the dishwasher, he knew the issue was the result of one of three things. Luckily, it was fixable without any parts needed. The refrigerator would not dispense ice and he had to come back after doing a little research on it. He never gave up. I would use again.

Or 6 year old Samsung washer sounded like a jet engine on high speed spin. Marty showed up on time (actually, a few minutes early). He diagnosed our problem in minutes, but ran the machine through a rinse cycle to be certain. Unfortunately for us the problem was the main drum bearing. He showed me what needed to be replaced (surprisingly, half the drum that includes a sealed bearing and motor). Marty said the repair cost would by $1000+ and recommended buying a new washer. So, in the end we only paid for a service call, and thankful for an honest evaluation.

He (Tom B) arrived on time. Told me the lock on my washer was broken. It wasnt. Which I showed him. He then told me the rinse problem was fixed because it rinsed on the stand alone cycle. It wasn't fixed. He charged me $10 more for the visit than he originally quoted when I set up the appt. He said he'd get a control board price for me if it still want fixed. A few days later he quoted me $150 more for the board than it cost on the manufacturer website. I was very unhappy and told him so. I asked for half my service call $$ back to make it right. He told me to "quit whining" about the cost. I suggest others call another company! I could drive around, misdiagnose stuff and collect service call fees, too. It doesn't make it right, tho.

Scott was wonderful! I called him and he was able to come out the next day (since I knew I would be home). He called prior to coming to give me a 20min heads up and was clean, professional and quick! He really took the time to understand if it was my washer computer board or if it was the pump. He took apart my machine and did some additional testing to see if the pump was getting the power and "message" from the board or if the board was bad. Ultimately it was the pump and he had the part on the truck and changed it right there! He even called me back within an hour to see if my load of laundry had finished properly with no errors. Great service!

He said he would charge only for the service call.

He contacted me before that he was on his way and was punctual.

Now I know why he has an A+ rating and would use him again if I needed any electrical appliances repaired.

My Samsung DMR77lhs is a known lemon.   I got HE error.
I replaced the heater-relay, and this solved my HE error.  But - motor would not work.
I called Complete Appliance Service Inc - for $100 assessment/fix - and a tech came few days later.
I discussed details w the tech, explaining to him that I'd replaced the heater relay - but now there were no error but also no washing of the dishes.
He did the right thing - he checked water temp as I had already done - and verified water temp is OK.
He did not pull my unit out- so never really dug into it.  I suppose that one does not get a tech to dig around in a unit for the mere $100.
But - he/his managers really should have had basic appliance knowledge to know my needed fix.

Clue: My dishwasher 'was' able to pump water out, but a 'dead motor' humm is all that occurred in the wash cycle.
Central point:  Most dishwashers motors function by the same mechanism - a very basic point that CAS/any tech should know:  The motor direction and speed is varied - by voltage and polarity being varied - and a $19 capacitor (C61-P2) was all I needed.  Same for Whirlpool, Samsung, others,....
I, as a laymen figured this out on the internet - replaced the part - and all good.
Down $100 - but save total replacement cost of unit.
The tech was decent enough- was willing to note brands that seem less error prone, etc.
    Maybe its is management's fault.

We contacted Ebel at the recommendation of Snow Bors Appliance where we purchased our new stove.  They came out first time and checked out the line.  Recommended us wait until the stove was in to make sure the work is necessary so we don't spend money on something not needed.  Once the stove was in and we saw some modification was needed.  We contacted them again. They came out vey quickly, did the work.  On time, tidy.  Everything was great.  The guy did the work was very professional and easy to work with.

We went to Snow Brothers to shop for our new stove.  Ron was our sale rep.  He showed us several models, with different features and prices.  Let us know what he likes about each and what are the differences among them.  He provided us enough information, pointed out things we did not even think about, but later proven to be very helpful.  Then, he left us alone.  No sales pressure and let us make our decision. We went back at least one more time for additional information.  He was again very helpful.  Thank you, Ron.

The delivery of our stove went very smoothly, on time, installed just fine.  Hulled away our old stove.  Clean and tidy work.  We will definitely shop there again for our future appliance needs.

Their Service Man (Kevin) Arrived not only on time but early and went to work. Found the problem a frozen pump shaft, freed it up and got my washer working again in a matter of approximately 45 minutes. Since the washer is 45-50 years old he mentioned that there are other things needing replacement such as the pump. He gave me a price for replacement of the pump if I wanted to pursue it. Luckily they had a replacement at the shop. He gave me a price for the replacement and left. I found him to be very knowledgeable in all sorts of appliances and quite professional.

The experience with Fred's Appliance has been very frustrating.  My microwave stopped heating, I called whirlpool and they warrantied the part (not the labor) and referred me to Fred's Appliance.  Fred's Appliance came out and fixed the problem for $172.00.  Five months later my microwave stopped heating again.  They said there's no warranty.  Came out and another $172.00 and fixed the problem.  Again, five months later had the same problem, asked to talk to the manager, but he never called me back.  He had the secretary call me back and offered me half off on the labor cost, and I said okay.  The technician came over and disconnected my microwave and plugged it back in and said its all fixed.  He said sometimes you have to reboot the microwaves to reset the computers.  That cost me $54.00.  The next day it didn't work.  I called the company back and asked to speak to the owner.  I never received a call back.  I've been in contact with Whirlpool, but it doesn't seem like they're going to help.
