    Don Joy
Argued about corrections that needed made. Tile was only down a couple days and the grout cracked and was missing. Walls weren't finished with painting. Walls had dried runs from paint not being painted properly. Door was missing 90% of screws. Door was not put in correctly. There is way too much to list. All in all it was a terrible job. We will never hire again all will be taking him to court. The items he provided were as cheap as it gets even though we paid for the items. Came back to fix some of what was wrong and did a half-ass job on that as well

    ZINZ CONSTRUCTION AND RESTORATION INC
We went with Zinz because they were local. They promised high quality work and initially they were at the job site 24/7, showing great results in a timely fashion.  After contract signed, work progressing, we found out that they really only had a very small crew of workers, mostly painters and laborers, and the majority of the quality work that was done was by sub-contractors.When the sub-contractors were not there, no one was there. If zinz did send out their people, they did seriously poor workmanship and only worked @ 3-4 hours a day, 1-2 days a week.We literally repeatedly asked Zinz to send out the sub-contractors to work on our house, because their people were not cutting it.  All said and done, we were given a move in date of march 1st, we finally got to move in july 1st with the job still not completed. The longer we were in the house, the more things we found that was done improperly, poorly, or just not done at all. We called lawyers, had a meeting with the owner of Zinz who repeated many times "beauty is in the eye of the beholder!" WHAT???, and basically offered them a lower amount than what we owed just to get rid of them. A lawsuit would have definitely been in our favor, but the damage to our credit, the year or so it would take, and all the stress that comes with it, just wasnt worth it to us. Hind sight, after living in our brand new turned fixer upper house,I wished we would have sued the pants off those creeps!Roof leaks, carpeting coming up, creaking floors everywhere, drywall screws coming out, nothing sealed properly etc etc etc the list goes on and on!! Hands down, one of the worst experiences EVER! A house fire that destoys @75% of your personal belongings, destroys 90% of your childhood home.....trying to rebuild our lives after that tragedy, all to have to deal with a bunch of money grubbing, decietful, and careless bunch of jerks from Zinz!!!!                                                                                                                                                                                                       (on a positive note, the Zinz design center in Austiontown was great as was our designer Bobbi! Also, alot of respect for estimator,Nathan, who was great through out ordeal and was left to pick up all the pieces in the end.)

    Duncan's Bath & Kitchen Center
Love the new bathroom.  Only one regret, wish we would have known that the trim around the door needed repainted before it was re-installed.  Other than that, very satisfied.
