Highly Recommend Big Bear Remodeling for the tremendous job they did on our complete gut & kitchen remodel project. Rob and the entire team managed the project with precision and great attention to detail. The weekly check-ins allowed us to pivot when needed and ask the questions we wanted. The Sunday night Scope of Work-Construction Schedules were extremely helpful when planning our weeks, especially both of us working from our home office. The outstanding skill set of each trade involved was great to watch as the puzzle came together perfectly. Big Bear set clear expectations from the start, there were no surprise bills of miscellaneous labor hours or materials at the end and the project was executed spot on! Finally, we are super grateful for the kind Big Bear crews that shared our home and showed great courtesy to our kids.

They charge rediculous prices. I keep people alive under anesthesia and don't charge as much as they do. The toilet valve failed in days and they came back but wanted to charge me another $360. I walked them out the door. I replaced the valve myself for $20. Completely unreasonable. I will never use again. EVER!

Killeen Plumbing were great. I had a stopped drain in my upstairs bathroom. They first tried power-snaking (for an hour at no charge) with no luck. Diagnosed a probable corroded pipe not letting the snake work properly. Came back the following week, quickly opened a small hole in closet wall, confirmed the pipe corrosion, and replaced the old corroded pipes. In, out and fixed in an hour, less than the estimate. Quick, clean and professional. I can't recommend highly enough!

We were extremely happy working with Rob and his team at Big Bear. They had great ideas, fair pricing and were very happy with the quality of the work. Rob is very meticulous and took time to review the quality of the craftsmanship and address any issues we had quickly and without additional costs. Look forward to using them again!

Everything went great - I was able to get their assistance within a few days of calling (it was not an emergency but was something I needed to fix within a week). They said they'd be there at 8 and showed up right at 8! Quick diagnosis of the issue, and it was resolved in about 30 minutes. It turned out to be a fairly simple issue, but I know it would have taken me a long time to fix myself, so I am glad I called instead. I was happy with the price and service overall. I will happily use them again. The price was definitely worth it to me for the time and hassle I saved. Very reasonable and professional.

Excellent. Jim took time to explain what and why work needed to be performed. On a previous occasion, he performed plumbing work. Due to the quality of work and his professionalism, he was the first person I requested to do the work. Would not hesitate to call him again.

When it came to getting us a quote or taking our money, Chet couldn't be more quickly available or responsive. Doing the work he agreed to was a different story. He told us the job would start in 3 weeks (it took 6) and be done in 1-2 weeks (it took nearly 10). To say communication is an issue with Chet and his crew is an understatement. He regularly did not return calls or texts, had a quick temper and insulted both me and my wife, lied to us, hung up on me, and took no responsibility for any delays or errors. They even constantly had issues getting a hold of each other, usually blaming it on cell service or other jobs. At one point, after they had set half the floor tiles (and no grout), they left in a hurry and no one returned or called for five full days. We started thinking the job was abandoned but they eventually showed up and apologized. The workers themselves were a lot more personable than Chet, but they were unprofessional and didn't seem to know what they were doing. After failing to put a tarp down and tracking mud in the house after a heavy rainstorm, they attempted to clean our hardwood floors with abrasive cleaner and caused the varnish to peel (eventually they agreed to sand & refinish the affected floor). None of the walls around the tub are plumb.  The floor tiles are uneven and some of the corners that stick out the most have already been chipped.  The tub was not protected and dings and scratches were left in the surface.  The plumber installed the shower handle backwards (hot-to-lukewarm, instead of cold-to-hot).  The drywall has already cracked or broken away from the wall in two places, after we installed a toilet paper holder and a tension rod. Even though we were switched to tile flooring, they did not think to include baseboards in the original quote, and told us it would be another $250 to install after we bought the materials (we declined). This job took incredibly long, Chet was extremely combative and rude, and having no idea if anyone would show up (let alone who, or when) made it impossible for us to feel comfortable in our own house, especially with a toddler and infant at home. We couldn't possibly recommend them to anyone, despite the low cost. Spend the extra money and hire someone who acts like a professional.

Excellent work. Work that other contractors had done in the past was corrected. The drains work like new. The work was done efficiently. Mr. Slawinski has the knowledge and skill to accomplish a professional result. Hire him.

They were unable to clear the line completely. Charged $99 for service call plus $249 for 1st hour then an additional $100 for next half hour. Left me on a Saturday afternoon with a slow draining main line. Advised me that it needed jetting to completely clear the line of sludge, which is possibly accurate, but for an additional $479 which was a "deal". But that service couldn't be done until Monday. So another 2 days with a questionable sewer line and limited use of plumbing fixtures; not knowing whether it was going to back up into my basement again. Did a test flush then went downstairs to check the basement drain. The drain seemed ok but Oh my gosh! They left a 5' area surrounding the drain with an inch of sewer sludge. Had splashed it all over surrounding stored items. And left it like that. I had to scoop up the sludge into a bucket and rinse the floor to remove the odors. They tossed a pair of booties next to my furnace. I don't know whether to cancel the jetting or just get it done and be done with this company.

I would recommend Killeen Plumbing highly - we referred by a previous customer and could not have been happier. Not only did they fix EVERY item that was needed but they were more than reasonable for the time spent. I would like to specifically thank Nick who was awesome! He was polite, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Thank you!
