    I've been with Dr. Seikel for 10+ years and am generally satisfied with his service as a family doctor. Like most doctors these days, I suppose, he takes the time to hear the reason for the visit, usually taking notes on his laptop the whole time. (Are any doctors not obligated to do that these days?) After which he will tell me some random facts about life or something he recently read. He's generally pleasant, although his personality takes some getting used to (quick witted, which can be intimidating). He recently diagnosed me with hypertension, for which he prescribed pills. When I asked about exercise or diet (as an alternative to pills) he was a bit dismissive of those options. He went ahead and prescribed pills, which have been effective. I had hoped he would have been a bit more engaging about my questions, which left me disappointed. I do like that he is generally "up" on the latest medical research. If he has a question about some symptom, he will pull it up on his laptop for clarification, which is okay, I guess. He also seems to be aware of the latest recommendations for treatment. I've been to him for several different reasons, from general physical exams to specific ailments and I am happy with his diagnoses. If he feels it warrants a specialist, he will give a referral.

    The toenail fungus was treated with a series of laser treatments which seemed to help. However, the procedure Dr. Ripepi did for my ingrown toenail showed inadequate pain management and a hostile response to patient experience after treatment. I would be wary of seeing him for anything where after-care pain management is needed and would not go to him again because of his lack of responsiveness to patient concerns politely expressed. I've never seen a doctor with such a calloused attitude towards myself in a patient role. The ingrown toenail required in-office cutting of both sides of the toenail. Although I was given adequate injections to numb the toe before and during the procedure, because so much of the toenail had been removed, I was concerned how much pain would occur when the shots to numb my toe wore off because of what I've experience in the past with foot treatments when I lived in Columbus. I expressed my concerns before leaving the office, but Dr. Ripeppi scoffed at them and said that Advil would be adequate. Although I'm 65 years of age, I felt like a child in the way that he arrogantly conveyed his opinion. Several hours later, when the numbing injections wore off, I experienced some of the most intense pain ever and the Advil did nothing for it. On a pain scale, I was experiencing a 9, a question that in my experience most doctors ask, but he had never referred to that scale. Because of the way he had dismissed my concern in his office, I called my GP, who knows me well and who prescribed 2 hydrocodone pills. I only took �� of those pills at a time because I don't like the dizzy feeling they give but they stopped the intense pain and took it took a 1 on the pain scale. I made it through the next 24 hours only using 1 �� pills. But they were a lifeline for the intense toll caused by that amount of pain. After 24 hours, my at home Anacin worked well. When I went for my follow-up appt. to Dr. Ripepi, I related my experience and said that I knew many doctors are afraid of giving pain meds these days with the increased surveillance, but I had needed them and I wanted other patients not to suffer as I had. His angry, arrogant response was that if he prescribed them I could have become an addict and others didn't need them was a surprise to me. I patiently explained that after 2 C sections and a hysterectomy - all which required a few days of pain management medication - I had never had any desire to continue taking pain medication/opiods, and pain management for a short time was very different than long-term management. From that point on, he was closed to all communication and kept repeating that it was his duty to save patients from becoming addicts. This was one of the three worse doctor experiences I have had in 65 years.

    A friend of my family recommended another doctor in her office, but his schedule was incredibly limited and the secretary recommended Dr. Eilenfeld to me as she completed her residency with the physician to whom I was referred.  She got me in right away.  The staff there was incredibly friendly and helpful.  Dr. Eilenfeld made me feel comfortable and walked me through each step.  I feel she truly cares about every patient.  Definitely found my new primary care physician!

    They got me in with a few weeks wait time, but it was well worth the wait.  The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.  Dr. Karth was exceptional.  She made a very uncomfortable situation quite tolerable with her professionalism and calm demeanor.  I received some somewhat scary results and she walked me through everything step by step so I understood everything.  She was just fantastic.  I definitely found my new OBGYN!

    We have been going to the doctor for about 8 and a half years. He is easy to talk with and is very knowledgeable. When we have had other issues he has given great referrals for specialists. We really like his personality. The office staff is super helpful and knowledgeable as well. I have had no issues with scheduling a routine visit.

    I read up on physicians nearby who I thought would be possibilities.
    Dr. Ewa Gross-Sawicka stood out and we went to her. She was very
    personable, was and quot;withand quot; us 100% when she was in the room. She was
    thorough and sent us off for many tests so she will have a base-line of
    data on us for future use. The staff was friendly and professional. All
    in all it was a positive experience that will make it easy to stay with this doctor and her staff.

    They're wonderful! You never get sent to another building or facility; everything can get done right on location. Every doctor has access to your entire health record, so they avoid a lot of errors that way. They're good at getting you in the same day, too. My doctor's primary nurse (Martha) is outstanding and ALWAYS responds to voicemails. They genuinely take care of you and are always open to questions. They help you participate in your care and health and they go out of their way to do so! I've never had a problem with the billing. Highly recommended!

    The waiting period is long. I believe he doesn't schedule well but he is a great listener. If you ask him not to perform certain tests or procedures he will listen and not force those treatments upon you.

    I have been going to the Rocky River Med Center since it opened,  I have seen Dr. Justin Smith for the last 10 yrs and can tell you, you will receive the best care ever.  He listens to you and is very knowledgeable about your treatment.  He cares that you actually get better and not just another office visit.  I highly recommend him and the Rocky River Med Center to anyone who wants a excellent Dr. and excellent care.

    He is very thorough and caring. I had an aggressive bunion that needed treated. He was efficient and thorough. He has excellent bedside manner. The staff was friendly. I would go back to him if I needed to.
