Jimmy and his crew have always performed excellent work at reasonable prices which is why All Star Services & Repair, LLC continues to be my #1 choice for any handyman work needed at my home or rental properties, and I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a handyman for jobs large or small.

It went really well!  John and Nate were on the job from start to finish and made us feel comfortable with the full process.  At the end of the project we are now left with the master bath that we always wanted.  Here are some details:
+ Planning & Scheduling: It was easy to work with John and his team to build the exact bathroom that we wanted, he was open to our ideas while still letting us know what would work well and what might not -- very helpful to us planning our ideal bathroom
+ Professionalism: John, Nate and team would be on time every day and were so friendly throughout the day as we were home a lot with a new baby
+ High quality work: They left us with an absolutely amazing bathroom.  Two areas really stand out to us: (1) the tile work is really amazing -- they really did a great job with what I assume is a really tough job (2) the shower is beyond amazing -- they made the shower bigger and created an all glass enclosure with nook and footrest that we really love
+ Responsiveness: Whenever we had any questions on materials or how things would work, John and team would respond to us very quickly
+ Cleanliness: They set up 2 air filters every day which really cut down on the dust/disruption which was very important to us because we had a new born.
Overall, we are extremely happy with the result and would use Desborough Construction for any future remodeling jobs (this is already the second time we've used them).

John was exceptional on every level. I am in contracting myself and have performed almost every trade myself, so I have a pretty good eye for quality. I was able to source all of the materials myself and have John implement the plan. John not only followed the drawings and instructions closely, but he offered many ideas of his own and improvements on my plans. He has a good eye for design and quality. None of the changes added to my cost. John communicated very well through-out, usually via texts, which was perfect because I have a busy job.

John showed up on the agreed-upon day and finished on schedule. We had agreed on a not-to-exceed budget. We had some give and take with reductions in John's scope, but also some adds and improvements. John was very fair and we stayed within budget. John had challenges with performing so much heavy work in a fully occupied building. Many neighbors were difficult to work around, but John handled everyone professionally and courteously. He cleaned up all public areas everyday and left everything clean and tidy.

In summation, I could not rate Desborough Construction more highly. His costs are not cheap, but they're fair. Get on his schedule if you can.

It went great. The owner (Bob) worked with me on the design for both rooms. He spent time with me picking out cabinets, as well as making good suggestions. The kitchen was done first. I had real used bricks for my back splash, which I LOVE! The two workers Scott and Gary were here on time, and worked hard all day. Each afternoon when they left, the area was spotless. They were both a pleasure to have here each day. The new cabinets are high quality and the countertop is Formica but I chose from their metal looking products. It turned out to be a super choice. All new lighting was also installed. I have gotten nothing but raves from friends and family.(It really does look pretty darn great)

The bathroom was a real challenge. It was a 50's bathroom, sort of art deco  but bad art deco. A blue tub, a separate shower "closet",a blue sink and a black tile floor AND walls. Yikes, it was pretty depressing. It needed to be completely gutted and reconfigured. It was truly a labor of love, with lots of help from Bob and his staff. The tub was replaced with a large walk in shower with a bench. The tile on the floor and in the shower is stunning. The bathroom is classic yet not "over done". I am thrilled with it.

Everything was done on schedule. Their prices were a little higher then the other bid I had done. However, the quality of the products made it well worth it.

They say what they mean, and mean what they say. Work is done on time, for the price quoted, and done professionally .

    WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

It was great. They used one company for the countertop, came out, took the old one up and put the new one and everything. I went to Lowes and used the company and it was a very good. I was very satisfied.

    This company was awful.

First of all they are out of Grove City, Ohio - which is 2 hours away. But, I only dealt with their local to my area sales representative.

I was initially told by Hannah their sales representative that the owner Mike assured me that I would have no seam in my granite piece.  She assured me that to earn my business I would have no seam.  So, I decided to go with Quarry Granite.  They charged me to hold the granite and a measurement fee totally $690.00.  Lance came out to measure.  He told me that I would have to have a seam and that he didn't agree with Mike to guarantee that and cut with pieces without a seam.   So, there goes the first promise.  Now at this point I am out $690.00.  So, I said well ok.  Then they came out again for a second measurement and they charged me $985 which was $300.00 higher than I should have been charged and that was by Lance who arbitrarily came up with $300 dollars for a second trip charge when Hannah told me it would be $175 then it changed to $150 by her.  It is like they are making up prices on the fly.  I was told Lance would refund my $300 overcharge on Thursday.  After he left I was emailed a layout several days later.  The email which showed the layout arrived and I liked it.    They were going to cut around the dark spots so they are not on the slabs or on the edges if they were going to have to be on the granite pieces.  They asked me to reply to the email to approve it so they have documentation that it was ok.   When the granite arrived one of the pieces had a large dark spot which was not represented with this on the layout.  The layout that I approved - the layout that did not match what was delivered.  So, the installer who is also named Mike and I called the co-owner Mike and he approved that  I can have my money back. So, he stated that to the installer -- that he would refund my money and to send the pieces back.   Then the co-owner told me that I would be charged 50 percent of the cost since the granite was cut.  But, the cutting was not my error it was their fault it was not cut correctly.   This company is dying for $$$.  They did not refund the over charge that I was told would be refunded from the second visit.  Now, I have a dispute with them.  I can't get a hold of Mike.  The sales rep Hannah who promised the world to me has been told to not talk to me and Lance is not cooperative at all.  They like to charge your credit card with lots of monies and don't hold up their end of the bargain.  Mike and Lance don't seem to agree on things but they shouldn't take it out on the customer.  They need to agree to things and then run a business.

Once you give them a credit card -- watch out -- they just go ahead and charge monies on there.

The transportation thing is just not good they are trying to do business in too many areas too far away which is why they have such a high delivery fee.

They make promises they cannot keep.

They are always changing prices at the drop of the hat.

They have a lot of complaints on Angies list.

I am dispute with them on my credit card  as well.

I was looking for a specific but fairly common granite, Luna Pearl, for a bathroom remodeling project. I found it at three local suppliers, but chose Quality Stone because of the exceptionally accommodating owner, Attila Nagy. His store off Brookpark Road in Parma is clean, orderly, and no-frills with enough countertop samples on display to get a good idea of the range of options.
The 1-1/4and quot; thick countertop with standard eased edges covers a 54and quot; x 22and quot; vanity with cutouts for a rectangular Kohler under mount sink (owner supplied) and standard 8and quot; spacing faucet holes, and included two 3/4and quot; x 4and quot; back splashes. Attila gave an initial quote at the showroom. He came to the home for on-site template measurements and i paid a 60% deposit at that time.
The countertop was ready for installation in 2 days. But, due to some unexpected delays by another on-site contractor, I had to delay the installation by a full 2 weeks. I was not charged any extra fees for the delay. The countertop and sink were installed 2 days after the vanity was finally ready. Nick and another installer did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the final product. I would recommend Quality Stone to others without reservation.

When we decided to redo our kitchen, we went to the Countertop Solutions store on Detroit Rd in Westlake due to its proximity to our condo in Rocky River. The lady there was very professional and knowledgeable. She helped us pick out the materials and color for our new countertop to make sure it would fit within our budget, and go with the paint scheme and flooring we had previously selected. She scheduled the work and served as our point of contact until the job was completed.
Everyone involved was really good at their respective job: the aforementioned sales lady, the technician who did the initial measurements, the craftsmen behind the scenes who molded and created our new countertop and installed the designer sink in it, the men who removed the old countertop, put the new one in and hauled the old materials off, and the plumber who installed the new faucet and disposal we provided. Everything came together nicely, with no issues or last minute problems.
We got exactly what we wanted, and are extremely happy with the results. The new countertop fits perfectly and looks great. I went over the whole thing and literally could not find one nick, flaw or imperfection in it. Everyone who sees it comments on how nice it looks.
We are totally satisfied with the work Countertop Solutions performed for us, and would recommend them without any reservations whatsoever.

His proposal was very vague and that was one of the reasons we did not go with him. There was no detail just a cost with no break outs of price. But he was thorough and he did come out quickly. I am just a detail type of person. I know that he has been doing this for years and does have an eye for it. I did have to followup in order to receive the proposal. He did seem very nice and I liked that he does all his own work. Once I did call him he was very responsive.

Fred did a very nice job.  He took measurments and assembled the countertop offsite.  He was careful to maneuver and install it properly. He took time to align the wall tiles to make sure they would fit properly.   The entire job went as he had planned, and there were no surprises or extra charges.
