    After speaking to multiple tutoring companies, we discovered Matthew. Matthew was very professional and made my son feel comfortable. They had a total of 5 tutoring sessions covering Math, English, Science and Reading. My son took the ACT after his tutoring sessions and scored a 23. We were very pleased with the progress our son made by going from an ACT score of 19 to 23 after only 5 sessions with Matthew. I would highly recommend Matthew J. Horwich to anyone needing tutoring.

    I hired them to do my taxes approximately a month before taxes were due. They were done on the very last day taxes were to be filed, but everything was fine and I was receiving a refund. Then, during the first week of June, I received a bill from the IRS, where, not only did I owe, but now there were penalties involved and the bill was due in 2 weeks. It took me days to contact them and then they blew me off several times, tried to blame the error on me, and stopped corresponding with me after they admitted that the return had gotten kicked back to them and they never informed me of the issue. Now I owe the IRS after receiving a bill with no warning that they knew was coming. $150.00 to be blindsided by a bill and then ignored and talked down to is not worth it. Use someone else.

    We would definitely not use this service provider again and we would not recommend this service provider for use with anyone else. We met with Ken a few weeks before the filing deadline. He was quite pleasant to work with at the first meeting. However, our experience quickly soured. Ken asked for additional paperwork and information. My wife worked to collect this onformation for Ken. When she had questions, phone calls were not returned. When she sent further documentation and asked for confirmation that this was the information he was looking for, emails were not given replies. We know that tax time is busy, but phone calls and emails were quickly responded to when I delivered them (just not my wife). This was just our experience and it left my wife feeling very uncomfortable with his work.
    The service provider claimed that my wife's work was taking too much money tax-free for the onsite daycare and left the responsibility for my wife to track down the tax specifics of what her company was claiming. She quickly sent this information (to which no reply was given). Had my wife not tracked this information down for our tax service provider, it is possible that the full deduction would not have been used.
    As of April 15th, we had been getting little response from Ken as to all the additional documentation and tax research we were providing and many emails and phone calls from my wife had not been returned. We were not sure as to the status of our tax returns or whether or not they would be filed on time. Finally, on April 15th in the afternoon, we heard from Ken that he was going to have us file extensions. As a note, this is the first time my wife and I were not filing our returns ourselves and this is also the first time either of us had need to file an extension. We had chosen a tax service provider to avoid filing an extension and so we were not pleased with this poorly communicated development. Working with Ken was not easy. We did not find him to be competent, Additionally, we found his communication and availability unreliable. Next year, we will likely go back to doing our taxes ourselves again. This is essentially what we had to do anyways while working with Ken. At least then we will be able to file on time.
    After April 15th, our experience with Ken got only worse. All of a sudden (though his personal matters and choices had prevented a timely filing), his hours were limited and often when we called, we were told he would need to get back to us the following day. We had to explain to him on multiple occasions how to use documentation we had provided on our deductions (including telling him how to use a spreadsheet properly).

    I've been working with Steve Newman for 5 or 6 years now.  His services are excellent and it's easy to feel like I'm his only client.  He meets with me personally each year.  He and his staff are always prompt to reply to messages, even on weekends when I would be perfectly happy to wait until Monday.  It's been a terrific experience working with him.

    We arrived on time, however he was running about 30-40 minutes behind schedule.  I'm not going to hold this against him, considering it was a Saturday during tax season.  He definitely seemed to know what he was doing when completing our tax forms, answered all of our questions in ways that made sense, and the whole process made me feel confident that our taxes were completed accurately and favorably. The whole experience did feel a little rushed and at times I felt hurried and pressured, which looking back on it now was a little frustrating.   Also, I see that there's an Angie's List coupon for tax prep that I wish I had known about when I went in.  All in all, he came off as competent and knowledgeable in terms of tax preparation, yet lacking just a bit in customer service.

    I have been seeing him since about 1988. His prices are very reasonable. He is very knowledgable and keeps up with the updates. He is very thorough. He is able to find deductions that I would have never found on my own. In the long run he has saved me a lot of money.

    Ken Weinbery is truly the best tax / financial professional in this area! We called him during the busiest tax time of the year and he got us an appointment within 3 days. This is our first time using Ken to prepare our taxes and we will continue to use his services each year. Ken, hands down, did an awesome job for us. He got the job done with several hours and  we were back in his office in less than a week signing our final paperwork. Kenn made the process very painless and enjoyable.  Ken has 2 offices making it convenient in scheduling an appointment.  We try to always use small, locally owned companies and Ken is a prime example of why you should support local businesses.

    There were some issues I was concerned with. She did our taxes online which I had never done before. It was really nice and convenient. We received our money right away. It was more expensive the first time because it was myself and two kids. I had also brought a lot of old stuff with me. They are nice, prompt and organized. They are also current on the new tax laws. She is up on the incentive checks as well.
