    Very prompt service. Received an Internet response to my request immediately, then a phone call and several days later a follow-up email. Very cordial and helpful. Did not book as quote was higher than I expected.

    Boating headquarters is by far the worst mechanic shop. Had my boat for over a month and couldn't fix a simple fuel related issue with my motor.  The owner had no idea what was the problem. He expected me to just throw money and parts not heading towards a resolution. Told me so many lies like oh your prop and hub is bad and that's why you only have 3/4 throttle and not full throttle.  Took the boat out after it was all said to be fixed and wouldn't you know ... Same exact problem! The boat sits for a month and nothing was done to it. Excuses on why he hadn't gotten to it. Then he has the nerve to tell me he doesn't have time to fix it.  Are you kidding me?  I paid you to fix my motor and not just put parts on it that were not the cause of the fuel starving issue.  

    Boating headquarters has p*** poor diagnostic abilities and justs wants  customers to throw money until they find / replace something that actually fixes the problem accidentally .  Insist on an actual estimate. Walk away when they give an excuse on why they cannot give an estimate until they rack up hourly rates doing nothing.  

    If you want poor service, lack of communication, running up shop rate hours for improper diagnostics and months of storage until they look at your boat.... Boating headquarters is the place!!!!!


    This clown could of known the motor issue right away, if he would of hooked it up to an actual computer to find out what error code the motor was showing. Clearly, this isn't his forte due to the advanced level of intelligence it takes to comprehend newer 4 stroke motors.

    He did a professional job. He also had to service the engine that had a replacement impeller and it's very important that this is functioning properly. I was confident he knew what he was doing and would do the job right. I was satisfied with the work. I was dissatisfied with the tempo and his lack of concern. He had a lot of excuses and by the time the boat was ready to be inspected a month went by and 90% of the boats were no longer in the yard.  After it was rigged it took another month.  When we were pulling out to take the boat to our club he still had to do some stuff - tied some stuff that he hadn't taken care of.  It would have taken me an hour or so to rig the mast on my previous boat.  When we got the boat into the water the pump wasn't pumping water into the toilet so he had to get a replacement kit and he did that, but it was more that had to be done.  He also took us to the bank to close the deal and chauffering me around to get stuff for the boat.  He really knows how to do stuff when he does it, but not in a timely fashion. I was not satisfied with the timeliness or the cost. I had to have people in the yard help with some of the servicing of the engine, which he was originally expected to do, which added to the cost.

    The service took a few hours to complete.  Just one person came out and was very professional.  He knew his boat construction. I'd tell friends/family that he is very professional and knows what he is doing, very prompt in providing the written report.  I felt like the price was fair.

    Our experience was very good. I would say one of the best I have experienced when using a limousine service. The driver (John) was very professional, punctual, polite and accommodating. The car was in very good condition, clean and well maintained. We will definitely use this service again.

    I talked with Lydia on June 13, 2006. She said she would have someone call me back for my vacation requests. Dan Willoughby called me the very next day and asked me some questions. I told him what I was looking for in a couple of days. It has been six days and no one has called me back.
