    Precision Overhead Garage Door
John came out on Saturday 6/29 and diagnosed the problem quickly. It turned out that the eye sensor wires were not making contact and he was able to reset the electric wire connectors. It has worked fine since then. He also provided additional assessment of the garage door opener and said everything else look pretty good.

    Ameridoor Madison
They came out during the polar vortex to diagnose the problem with our garage door opener. They determined it needed replacing (27 years old) and replacement parts were no longer available. Gave use a price for replacing the existing unit with a new one and we then arranged for installing the replacement unit. They then returned two days later and installed the new opener. This all took place in a timely and professional manner and we were very pleased with the results. We highly recommend this company.

Wonderful. Mike is a very friendly guy and he basically helped me to feel less stressed about getting all this work done on the house in order to sell it. He did everything I needed done and a great job. I would definitely hire him admin!

    Homenik Door Co Inc
I contacted Homenik to replace a cable drum on my overhead garage door unit, and inspect the overall quality of the install; I suspected the problem was symptomatic of a deeper issue. On the first visit, the technician remarked that the spring assembly was of very poor quality, and he would not operate upon it in any way. I did not think this was unreasonable, considering his explanation. He recommended a replacement and so I had to set up a follow-on appointment for the following week. I was careful to state that it would have to be an afternoon appointment (just like the current one I'd scheduled). The following week, the technician called me in the morning and said he was at my place. I told him I was at work and reiterated it would have to happen in the afternoon. Five (!) phone calls from both him and the office later, I finally picked up, irritated at the interruptions to my workday. The receptionist stated that she "couldn't have her tech waiting hours for me." So, I told her to have him conduct other jobs in the meantime and that we had agreed to the afternoon anyway. Apparently, this wasn't an option, so I cancelled. A frustrating experience. I ended up going with a competitor and it turned out to be the right call. I was able to make an appointment for the following Saturday, and dealt with a very organized and thorough staff to get the job done.

    Precision Overhead Garage Door
I contacted Precision Overhead Garage Door after striking out with a competitor. My garage door was installed by an amateur, so it was recommended that the spring assembly, cable drums, and rollers be replaced. I was able to make an appointment very quickly for a weekend, which was nice. The work was done quickly and professionally, and the technician ("Z") answered all of my questions and then some. I actually learned a lot from him! The experience was wonderful overall. The price was a bit high, but I was okay with it as you get what you pay for.

    All Around Door & Gate
Once scheduled, I was very pleased with the service. They determined my entire garage door opener needed to be replaced and I agreed. The existing one was over 25 years old, lacked safety features, and remotes were corroded inside. The install hit a snag due to the length of the rail from motor to door. They returned promptly the next day (their Saturday "day off") and finished the job. Josh and Rob were very professional and courteous. I was very pleased with the new opener, its features, and time spent to introduce me to its features. Because we initially had trouble getting the work scheduled (they had a big out-of-town contract M-W each week), I was pleasantly surprised to be given a discount. During the 3 weeks trying to get scheduled, I never reached a person at the office number. The messages I left always received prompt responses (within the day). I found email a better way to communicate. I always felt I was working with a top-notch service provider. I was even told "we appreciate your business." Very nice!

The two guys from Tri-County Door Service were great. They got straight to work and had the springs replaced very quickly. They oiled all of the rollers and balanced the door. Overall, I was thrilled with their professionalism and the quality of their work.

    Precision Overhead Garage Door
I wanted the service so that I could have garage door opener. Service was done to replace rollers, springs and more to a cost of 755.00 My understanding was that would take care of the important parts. I said go ahead. When he finished I was given a sheet that showed Short Term, Better, and Best...the Best being $755. When all was done, the door opener did not work because it needed (I guess the motor) Since the reason I thought of doing the work was because I wanted the Opener working. I did not have to go with the Best which did not give me what I wanted. I guess we had a misunderstanding.

    Precision Overhead Garage Door
My garage door would not open.  It would go up about 2 feet and stop.  So I called Precision Door Service.  I found them on Angie?s List.  They are highly rated.  I called them on Mon. (2/15) and made an appointment for Tuesday from 4-6 PM.
I got home at 4, and the tech was already there.  He looked over the door and the opener.  He could tell from the sound of the garage door the something was binding.  He gave me estimates for 3 levels of service:  short term ($304.95), better ($828.95), and best ($1338).  I chose the cheapest, and it solved the problem.  He put in new rollers, did a lube and calibration, adjusted the opener chain and settings.  He also inspected everything and gave me an evaluation and recommendation summary.  He got done a little before 5. I used an Angie?s List coupon (-25.05).
