    Desatnik Decorating
Jeff came out and gave me an estimate in early March. He said up-front that it would be at least 6 weeks before he could get to my job. (He's a one man show.) He also mentioned that the cost could be higher depending on how difficult removing the paper would be. Jeff started on May 1, about 7 weeks after the estimate was delivered. That was fine. He had really good reviews, and I needed the work done. I was surprised that his estimate came in under the other contractor I interviewed. Jeff is the most meticulous contractor I've ever come across. After the first day, the laundry room floor was cleaner than when he arrived! It turned out that the wallpapers in the laundry room and half bath were more difficult to remove than hoped. He had to do a lot of patching and priming because of it, but the end result was gorgeous! I was soooo impressed with the prep work he did! I wish I would have taken before and after pictures. The final cost was higher due to the extra wall work, but even with the increase, the final cost was lower than the other contractor's original estimate. Even if it hadn't be, the cost was well worth the final result. Jeff is a very friendly, funny, and talkative guy. I thoroughly enjoyed having him in the home doing the work. I gave him a B on punctuality only because some might expect him to be at the house everyday at 9, and he sometimes wasn't. Of course, he came from the other side of town. It wasn't a problem, though. Jeff answered all my questions along the way, called me in to show me certain things, and gave me many home maintenance tips. (He also told me about Lakewood Park which seems like it might be a fun place to visit!) The experience was delightful. I'd definitely call upon him again.

    Regency Design + Build
If you are seeking a full commitment to customer service, use of quality materials, and careful attention to every detail of the finished product, I highly recommend Regency Developers Inc. for all possible home improvement projects. I selected Regency Developers to finish my basement. The services provided exceeded my expectations from the initial review/proposal for my project to the final sign-off. This is a "hands-on contractor" that I will use gain and recommend to others.

    Acclaim Renovations & Design
Every project for which we've hired Acclaim has gone well; been completed with excellent results; work handled professionally; all work done by Acclaim employees (not contractors); would definitely hire again in the future when other home projects need to be done. The service is done with a smile by employees we've come to know over time using Acclaim for home projects for the past several years. We've recommended Acclaim to friends and neighbors multiple times.

    Morry the Handyman
Morry worked quickly yet all work completed was done to the highest standards. We have a running to do list and will have him back for more work soon. He fixed our faucets and toilet, hung ceiling fans, fixed broken doors and other misc items.

    Louver Shop of Cleveland
We compared prices with 3 other vendors and the Louver Shop had the best price for a good quality vertical blind by Hunter Douglas. We were told it would be 4 to 6 weeks until installation and it was 5 weeks and the person who installed the blinds was excellent and very professional and cleaned up after himself. We were very pleased.

    Universal Windows Direct
Our sales guy Nick was great explaining the different window and door options. He was not pushy at all, that was a big plus. We placed an with him that day. A few weeks later they called and scheduled the date and time for installation. The installer Eric and Jake did a fabulous job . Eric took his time and our windows look amazing .

    Die Hard Exteriors
I can't say enough about the transformation to my house was after Duane was done. He took a 50 year old white aluminum sided house and transformed it to the clay colored vinyl you now see (I'm sure he'll post pics). It wasn't so much the quality of work and the daily progress being made, something we should all expect from a contractor, but the attention to detail and the ways he made things look greater than imaginable. Instead of obstacles making something look bad, because that's the way it is, he could make it completely unnoticeable. I gotta say, he took an old house and gave it new flair. Plus he rocked on installing a new front porch further accenting an already fine job on the house. He leaves no stone unturned and is an artist at what he does. He is the last contractor I'll ever need. And most of all, I gained a new friend. GREAT JOB DUANE AND THANKS AGAIN !

Not as expected. In my opinion replacement windows should not have 1/2 inch each side for expansion. I have had other windows installed and they fit. When this company came to measure I told them I was very picky about windows fitting and please measure them so I couldn't look through the side of the window and see the street. Didn't happen, as a result we will fill the sides of the window with an inch of insulation. In fairness, Middlefield offered to re-order the windows at no charge. That is admirable and I didn't accept their kind offer. . However, at this point I just want them out of my house. Thank goodness I didn't do the whole house and this is exactly why. Next windows will be Simonton and Daughtery Construction will put them in - I hope. Daughtery was more reasonable prices and they know how to measure.
