  • Perfectly. When I began treatment I could not stand up straight and needed a cane to walk; plus, pain in lumbar and left leg was unbearable. Dr. Kohl's treatment was professional and effective. After undergoing a treatment plan that required 12 visits, the pain was essentially gone; I am now able to stand up straight; and I no longer need support of a cane.

  • I'm torn about this review. For a while, we were very happy with this dr. He was a gentleman when he did my physical (woman's physical) and very respectable. However, my husband had multiple chronic issues come up this year including 3 hospitalizations. On our followup visit from the hospital, there were many symptoms to address, and upfront I told the dr. we need to go through one by one with what their recommendations were and what his are because some things were not resolved and the hospital made some guesses on some things. I got through one symptom, and the doctor didn't want to hear any more.. he wanted to take a different approach and ask what the hospital didn't find cause he had the records. My husband is deaf, and we had an interpreter so I had this all organized before the appt. to SAVE the dr. time and to help with the communication with my husband so that he understands and so that everything gets covered. So then instead of one by one - I rattled them off, and the doctor said I was throwing too much at him and told me to stop. The doctor, after telling him one symptom, said he didn't have time for us - we paid for that appt. and for chronic healthcare this is unacceptable. It's the reason we had the appt. Not only that, but my bills are paid in full the same day I receive the bill and we have our deductible saved up front each year, and we put a substantial amount of money into our healthcare. Doctors need to consider who they should be servicing - you can't get a better patient than us and we were treated that way. Immediately after this appt., we received a letter that the doctor is leaving the practice for a new one and so we have to find a new doctor anyway. It's time these healthcare industry practices end - we didn't receive help at all from that appt. or the way forward and my husband is still dealing with issues.

  • I only had a few visits as the routines they were having me do were focused on my back and not on my arm and shoulder so I quit going and joined Yoga and it was much better after a few Yoga classes.  Then the bills started coming in and recently I received a letter from a collection agency stating that I still owed money and had to prove it was paid from a cancelled check.

  • He diagnosed it and gave me medicine last month, and I came back yesterday. I'm doing much better, and he told me what to do for the next three months until my next appointment. He's very educational and takes the time to explain to you about your injury. He took his time and he's friendly. I'm going back with a smile on my face and no pain in my ankle.

  • So the staff was very nice, and the office was clean and well kept up. They also had a patient portal that you could look at for your documentation and do medication requests! was impressed with the overall feel of the office. The only drawback to the visit was the fact that my doctor must have gotten so caught up in talking with me that he forgot to do a physical exam.

  • For years I had gone to several Doctors trying to find help with Pain in my Neck/Spine area. All I was ever told "can't find anything" and/or "you only THINK you have pain" (so it must be in all in my head as in a hypochondriac). After a while I started to believe this was true. I was in a great deal of pain and was hardly able to function, not only with my Job, but my Day-to-Day life. I finally couldn't even work anymore. I then found a great Primary Doctor and requested that he refer me to someone (that he respected) that could and would, tell me one way or the other. I was referred to Dr. Deshpande's Practice, (ORTHOPAEDIC & SPINE CENTER). After several tests (X-rays,MRI's,Prior Testing Information, etc.) he did find that I WAS in Pain, for a reason. Together we found a treatment that works for me and has highly improved my normal Quality of Life.  Dr. Deshpande is compassionate and understanding of folks that are in a great  deal of Pain (as I was) and has treated me with nothing but Respect (never as a hypochondriac). Everyone in his Practice (Staff Doctors, Assistance's, Office Staff, Acct Staff, etc) has been great to work with and again has treated me with Respect. This Practice continues to monitor my Treatment and Status. I also know, that I can contact this Office any time, I have questions or concerns that needed an answer. I HAVE and will continue to refer anyone to this Practice.

  • As I stated above, in the thirty years I have seen him for many things. If you needed to see another doctor, he'll help you with that and work with them. If there is something wrong, he says, we'll find out what it is. I like him because if you've had a test, he'll call you with the results, not someone from his staff. Once I stopped by to pick up a prescription and to make an appointment and he was talking to one of his nurses and said he would see me right then and he did and we also just talked about my health and other concerns for about a half hour. I also like that he doesn't over prescribe medication.
I feel that both he and his staff care about their patients and make an extra effort to help with their concerns and to work with you on any health issues.

  • Dr, Jones made a thorough examination of my feet. I had been to my family doctor about two weeks prior to this visit and asked about some foot problems that I was having. Dr. Jones diagnosed the problems correctly and provided treatment. She also cleaned and removed various calluses and rough areas as well as providing nail care. I was very satisfied with the treatment received.

  • My daughter was having foot pain in her arches. He gave us a good explanation of what was going on. He had customized arch supports made for her. He had a really good manner. He made it an enjoyable visit. It was nice to talk with him. My one issue was that their billing computer software was insisting on needing our social security number. I was not comfortable giving it out.

  • Dr. Covel is an amazing doctor. She listens, she's compassionate and takes time to explain what she's thinking. She's often running behind schedule but I'm willing to deal with that given how great she is. I'm certain she runs behind because she takes so much time with everyone. I wish all doctors had her bedside manner. I've had some quirky ailments but she always takes me seriously and helps me get to the bottom of it.
