Jerry and assistant were on time and very professional. They were efficient, explained everything to me and identified an issue with the top cap. I plan to hire them to do the work for the top cap as well...

    The Chimney Guys
Did not arrive for appointment and did not call. Showed up 7 hours later and gave us an estimate so far below what needed to be done that we immediately discarded it. Was very disappointed and unimpressed by this company.

    SOOTY FIREMAN CHIMNEY
It didn't, and I am pretty irritated. I explained to this man when I scheduled the appointment that originally the fireplace tech (who came out here earlier) told me I would need an adapter because I had a round (I now know this is a prefab chimney.) hole for my wood burning fireplace instead of a square one. Then I told him that the competitor found one that fits my fireplace, and one would be needed. I explained the special circumstances with my wood burning fireplace (built in the 70s), and he told me he could do the same job for $10 more than the people I already had an appointment with. He gets here, looks at the fireplace, and immediately tells me that he cannot fix it. He says he's never seen a top sealing replacement for a prefab. I was like HUH? What do you mean you have never seen one? What do people do when the old damper falls apart? (The old one was previously located in the firebox. They are all being replaced with top dampers now - so I am told) His answer to me? "They just live with it." I sear I never heard such an uneducated answer. I am now glad that he could not do my repair because either he is not keeping up with the latest technology in fireplace repair, or his competition is lying to me too. I am so irritated that after I explained what I need that this man when I was making the appointment, and he clearly wasted my time.

The job went fantastic. The technicians cleaned up every day. The chimney is beautiful and the bricks match the facing bricks of the house. Would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs chimney work.

It turned out good but I had few little things that happened as far as doing some of the billing and stuff. We got it straightened out. I wasn't impressed with them after I got them. He didn't call me or didn't ask me. He didn't do anything. I'm stuck with the credit card bill. I wasn't too impressed with them. I was mad. The patio was good.

That one was okay.  I thought that they could do something other than the tune up because it ended up the cleaned the fireplace up nicely and they were cordial and all of that but then there ended up being issue because our fireplace wasn't working and I thought they were specialists then they could do what ever needed to be but he wasn't able to help us with that at all so I was kind of disappointed.  He went down in the basement to look at the shut on and shut off.  There was something that he said he wouldn't be able to do and then was trying to refer us to someone else so it was kind of disappointing because they said they could do more and I thought that they were specialist.

I wanted to write this to say what horrible service I have had from your company.  A year and a half ago, I had great service.  I had someone come out to inspect the outside of my chimney because many bricks are falling apart.  I received excellent service at that time with numerous color photos and an estimate that was better than two others I had gotten.  Unfortunately, I did not have the money at that time to do the work.  A month or more ago, I called again for another estimate since I am in the position to have the chimney repaired.  I have had horrible service this time around, beginning with the mason's car breaking down on the first appointment to give me another estimate.  I was told they would call me back within a day or two to reschedule.  A week went by and after not hearing anything, I called again.  I was told they would check into it and call me.  The next day I received an estimate via email - very close to the first estimate.  I called again to ask if someone actually came out or they just went by the first estimate and increased it some.  I was told that someone did come out - even though I was never informed of that.  I decided to go ahead and schedule the work.  We came up with a date - today.  I called yesterday to see what time they would be out and no one seemed to know the time but said that they would have the mason call me.  At 2:00 today, after not hearing anything and asking my husband to go by the house, where he confirmed that no one was there, I called to inquire about their whereabouts.  I was told that they showed the appointment for yesterday - even though no one was there yesterday.  I can't say how disappointed I am in your customer service this time around.  I will never recommend your company to anyone and now I am probably too late in the season to get this work done before winter - all because I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you would get the job done.  You will never receive my business and hopefully, people will read this and think twice before calling you.

    Abode Home Maintenance
First I had a 9:00am appointment which I received a call  at 9:05 am stating the worker would arrive between 9:30 and 9:45. The worker arrived at 9:55. Next I explained that we had not used our fireplace in two years because we had smelled gas while we were using it so we were hoping that by having this service done if there were any leaks they could fix it. The worker explained to me that they were not plumbers that they were here to clean the fireplace which meant clean off logs ,clean glass doors, vacuum around the logs. The worker called his boss who came over to look at the gas line and said they didn't smell gas which I explained again that we smell gas  it when using the gas logs. The boss said everything looked fine to him. They when lit the logs and said everything was fine one hour later I smell gas in my house again. So I paid $99.95 to have the glass cleaned and vacuum around the outside of the gas logs.
Now I have to hire a plumber to come and find where the gas smell is coming from.

The owner came and looked up at my chimney from the ground and said that I needed a chimney cap.  I thought that how did he knew when he did not even go up there and looked at it.  He did even climb to check the problem because it could have been something else like my roof or chimney's attachment to the house.  He was guessing that it was a chimney cap that I need which is $1600.
