    Ohio Basement Authority
Ohio Basement Authority and their employees are great people. We had someone out to do work on our internet and when they got into the crawlspace they said there was standing water. Thus beginning our roller coaster ride to where we are now. I initially contact The Basement Doctor and had them do an estimate, their initial estimate came out to around $25k. Upon having their lead foreman out we were told the estimate was completely wrong and it would be about $10k more. Upon hearing that I did some research and found that The Basement Doctors price per "Pier" was about $800 above the midwest average. When their lead foreman scheduled to meet with us he was 45 minutes late. With an estimate of $32k and only a half encap for our crawlspace. Then comes Ohio Basement Authority. I saw them on another google review and gave them a call for an estimate. They sent out their sales representative Andrew who was on time and very forward and honest about what to expect. Their estimate came out to around $28k including a full encapsulation, sump pump (waterproofing) and a commercial grade dehumidifier. The crews showed up on time and started work. Ryan's crew was here first and answered any and all questions or requests I had without hesitation. They explained everything as they were doing and made sure we understood what to expect the property to look like post project and why. Jose's crew came in after Ryan's to do the waterproofing and encapsulation, they were courteous and efficient and did an amazing job. Both crews cleaned up very well. The crawlspace was clean enough I crawled around with my 3 year old after the epoxy vapors subsided. All in all, I would recommend anyone who needs to have foundation or waterproofing work done should give OBA a call and get an estimate, I can almost guarantee it'll be less expensive and an all around better experience than anyone else.

Randy's quoted price was reasonable. However, in spite of telling me the job would completed within the week, 2.5 weeks later he cannot even give me a date the job will be done. Most disturbing is the fact he took a sizeable deposit. More than I would normally be willing to pay. I am undergoing chemo for leukemia and he took advantage of chemo brain. We discussed my diagnosis, and there is a sign on the front door asking people to take precautions sine a leukemia patient lives there. So he is well aware of my diagnosis. I feel scammed. If you look on the BBB website, another person complained of the same tactic.

    Just Basements
Their salesman was able to quickly visualize how to divide up basement into sections and develop a blueprint. They were very responsive to questions/concerns we had. We had to stop in the middle of the project and address a major issue we were unaware of that was caused by our home builder's sloppiness. JB was great in helping us solve the problem and the price was very fair for the extra, unanticipated work they had to do. We are very happy with our finished basement.

    Ohio Basement Authority
Work was done professionally and on time. Everything was clearly explained to me so that I understood what was being done and why it was needed. The foreman on the job was Richard P. He was very professional and courteous and took the time to explain (and show) everything to me. The team cleaned up the areas when they completed the work.

    DIAMOND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
It went great. Don was able to repair the service in a very sound, but cost effective manner. He knows what he is doing. He can be trusted and does not cut corners. Needless to say a company run this way is busy and so you may have to wait to get stuff done. If it is an emergency he will get on it asap.

    A Basement 2 NV
Mark, Jim and Matt were great to work with.  They were very informative and the overall quality was excellent.  The details that stand out for us are the recessed lighting, the amount of electrical outlets, and textured ceilings.  Additionally, the bathroom came out great.  The basement is definitely the nicest space in the house.

Sales man came out to do measuring ..he gave us an estimate of how many different pilings we would need. it seemed to me that there were 10 different pilings.. they show up to work ..sup jumps out and said he has questions. said he did not think I had enough surings. He calls back and talks to office. Instead of giving us the extra suring they took the suring form the side of the garage. The workmanship was good . Everything was spic and span. My problem was that they were not on the same page. The person that did the inspection and the person who came out to do the job.

    The Basement Guys
Everything was explained and they arrived on time and got right to work.  The floor was covered with drop cloths going to the basement.  Dehumidifier was installed and explained and liner was put in and done very well.

Service was excellent.  Foreman Zach Wells and his crew (Mike and Milton) were very prompt and professional.   I could not be more pleased with the job they did.  They took great pains to avoid tracking in any dirt and made sure everything was cleaned up afterward.
    Highly recommended

    Atlantic Drain & Gutter
I emailed Chris (general partner of Atlantic Drain & Gutter) about my downspout backup problem and explained that a video inspection had indicated there were no blockages.  Using information from me and from Google Maps about my home, Chris proposed adding a second drain line directly to the street and tied in as described above.  It was a good proposal at a good price and I accepted.
They began work about three weeks later, after first arranging for utilities to be marked.  The job took less than two days to complete.  The first day involved drilling the curb, tunneling beneath the sidewalk, and laying drain line in that area.  The second day involved digging a trench, laying drain line, tying in, capping off, etc.
The work was done with great skill and care by Chris and his two assistants.  Every effort was made to cause as little disruption as possible - working around shrubbery and saving as much sod as possible.  And they cleaned up thoroughly after the job was done.
The day after they finished, I got an email from Chris with a downloadable, printable drawing of this project for my records.  It was a very thoughtful finishing touch to the fine job that they did.
