    We arranged for an estimate from Dave a few weeks ago. He was here on time and provided what we felt was a very reasonable quote. We were able to get on Dave's busy schedule yesterday and today. He had to tear out a small part of a paver patio step/porch, then repair the issues both in the crawl space and with proper sheathing outside. Dave did a fantastic job repairing and putting the small portion of the paver step back together. He was here on time, and he is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. We are working to get an estimate on work at our daughter's condo, so I can say in no uncertain terms we would use this company and Dave again.

    The owner is a complete jerk. He is unresponsive, will only communicate via email. We asked repeatedly to call us via phone and he simply kept emailing us. He stated he needed to do this to have proof of conversations. He required us to sign a contract so he could begin the work over 6 months later. We had to track him down (via email) to see if when the work was going to begin. He gave us an estimated date that came and went. We eventually emailed again. He sent us the date and time and asked for 1/2 of the estimate to begin the work. We were trying to determine how we would arrange our schedules because we both work so someone could be home. It took us a little over 24 hours and he apparently gave that date away and offered us a date 2 weeks later. We asked to please allow us time to coordinate our schedules and we wanted to know how long he would be in our home. We wanted to discuss the project to understand how long it would take and would he just need to come in remove the window and would return at a later date. We asked for a phone call to discuss these details. He refused to call us and sent an email stating he was declining our project. After having us sign a contract AND making us wait more than 6 months. This seems like a very drastic measure when the request was simply for communication beyond email. We should have known better. Two local home renovation companies told us he was very difficult to work with professionally. Everyone said he is good at what he does but has VERY POOR customer service. Being nice to people goes a long way.

    During the summer of 2017, I originally contacted Andy OnCall to get an estimate for remodeling my bathroom. I wasn't ready to move on the project until this year, (Spring 2018) so I contacted the owner of the company (Jon Weaver) again via email and asked to get another updated estimate since I was now ready to move on the project. He scheduled me for 2/28/18 between 5:30-6:00. He never showed. The next day I called, his wife answered, (she apparently does his scheduling) apologized multiple times, and asked me when I was next available to make up for it. I said that evening at 6pm. He never showed for the second time. I called back the next morning, Jon answered, he seemed surprised that she had scheduled him and he didn't know about it. (On a side note, I had contacted him for a smaller job [electrical outlet in my basement], which Brent [his employee] was coming out to do on 3/6/18 [he did a wonderful job by the way], so Jon asked if he could just come at the same time Brent was coming to do that job). I agreed. He showed up this time, seemed very competent, answered all of my questions, took measurements in my bathroom and then told me he would be emailing me the estimate and suggestions for product types. By 3/15/18 I had no estimate so I emailed him to follow up. He sent me an estimate on 3/19/18, but mentioned in the email that he would be sending a separate email with product options (he never did). I replied back on 3/21 to tell him I never received a second email. He never responded. I followed up again on 3/29 and he still hasn't responded. All I can assume from this situation is that he doesn't want my business. I thought his prices were fair so I wanted to use his company. This experience was incredibly unprofessional! It's also hard for me to understand because his employee, Brent, did such a great job on our basement outlet. Typically, companies have to worry about the associates having this kind of behavior, not the owner of the company. The experience has turned me off so much that I will not contact them again, and it's unfortunate for them, because I planned on using them for multiple small home projects.

    Solicited a bid for installing approx. 42 sq/ft of backsplash in the kitchen. Price was competitive and I was comfortable talking to him during his visit. I was required to purchase tile and grout beforehand. Within a week they had it finished as they had an opening right before Thanksgiving that allowed them to complete it in a very timely manner. Job was completely and I was kept informed of any possible issues during the completion.

    Was told an in-person visit was needed for a verbal estimate, and would cost $15. Scheduled the visit, paid the fee, then weeks of back and forth with no quote ever provided. Ended up going with another company who was far more responsive, came in-person to assess everything for free and provided a quote within 24 hours.

    Ran into a couple snags with the fan installation due to the original construction. Mr. Grubb worked through the roadblocks until I told him I was satisfied. This added a lot of time to the project, but nothing to the price. This was because this company offers a choice in pricing: by the hour, by the job, or by the day.
