AErnie Colegrove Construction LLCThe scope of this report covers 5 years plus and approximately $130k in work completed. In addition to the sunroom that is previously mentioned, worked completed includes replacing all windows and associated work, stripping of all carpet to hardwood floors underneath and refinishing, numerous plumbing and wiring problems associated with existing structure. Also included in previous work is plumbing in kitchen and downstairs utility room, wiring in general all over entire house, remodeling of an extra bedroom and converting into a closet and a variety of smaller jobs over this timeframe.- Jerry F.

AQuality Decks LLCthey went as far as to sand, stain and seal all the wood work. it even came with a 5 year warranty on all work. the workmanship was superb although the job took a little longer than i think it should have, but it was worth every minute. nice job!!!- adam d.

BErnie Colegrove Construction LLCI received an estimate the first of August 2011; however , the work was not started until the end of February. This was the only part of the job that was annoying as they told me it would just be a few weeks until they started. Once they did start they worked non stop e ach day they were there. The workers were punctual, courteous and very willing to take care of any problems that arose. I was very impressed and pleased with the workers and the job they did. They were very neat and there was no mess left behind. The completed job was very professional and exceeded my expectations. I was very pleased the quality of the work and the workers. I would recommend Ernie Colegrove Construction and would certainly use them for future construction jobs.- Kay W.

FBill Hamm Construction Co.Hamm construction claimed they had multiple pieces of major equipment: for example, huge 'Excavators' and Dozers. They claimed this would enable them to begin immediately and that their 'estimate' would be far cheaper than any other person's. What this 'Bill Hamm' did do was bring, what acted like, thugs to work who kept wife and I busy by , among other things, claiming that we owed them daily pay when we had paid them, per-day. These workers blind-sided us by keeping us busy looking here and there. Hamm himself said we may not ever talk or give orders to the workers ..in our case we saw them making blindly foolish work and ordered them to stop tearing down the wrong fences. Hamm told other workers, who told me later , that he was gong to punch me in the face. The large Excavators had to be rented at 900 dollars a day. He owned no large equipment. When we told him he'd lied , he got extremely violent verbally. The earthen-d*** he was to build, was supposed to have been "walked in". He never did this. the earthen dam now leaks in three places. He has been asked numerous times to repair it and he never replies. We have had professional construction people stop by and tell us we were scammed and that this guy is noted for going to churches and scamming people there for construction jobs where Hamm does not do the job but takes the money and delivers only a framework of what was promised to be done.. He was supposed to repair damage to a large wooden barn. In so doing, he himself, pushed the wall of one side out several inches.. When confronted, he got very angry and told us that we had done it. Gee, we don't own any construction equipment. Be very caution of this person and his goons. Ham claims to have a bench warrant out, in Orange County California, for attempted murder. He brags about this. I have numerous acquaintances who, after the fact, have told me of work Hamm has screwed up for them to the tune of thousands of dollars. I told them it would have been nice if they'd mentioned the guy is a scam-artist before we'd believed him. But people are too polite around here to give advice unless asked directly beforehand. Thus I am on Angies List to warn others that this guy outright lies and is, I believe, rather dangerous.- Rocky D.

FTotally unprofessional. I regret using this company. Rod quoted the work, but the kid doing the job seemed to have never done it before. The chimney needed repair to the top 15 or so brick rows. I had to point out from the ground bricks that still looked (and were) loose after he was "finished". He failed to tuck point one whole side of the chimney. The chimney still leaked after they finished. I went up on the roof to inspect where water might be coming in. The poured concrete cap looked like a someone just spilled a whole bucket of concrete. It slopes toward the chimney vent and water pools on top. Completely useless. The work was "guaranteed" in word by Mr. Layman, but he has not kept his word. I have been calling about the continued leaking for two months and no one has come out. I also found a broken 6 ft extension pole in the gutter which they were too careless to remove after dropping it.
