After running aground in Lake Erie, both of my I/O drives were ruined and required rebuilding. These were OMC drives, no longer manufactured. Each one required rebuilding the lower units and replacing the propellers. The incident occurred on a Sunday in the middle of the summer boating season, so I was anxious to have my boat back in the water as soon as possible. After the marina hauled out the boat on Monday, I contacted Dubberts and asked them to estimate repairs for insurance. That same day, they had picked up the boat and brought it back to their shop. By the end of the week, I was provided with an insurance estimate and authorized repairs. The work was complete, in total, by Wednesday the following week. So ten days from the incident, I was back in the water. They even advised on a standard modification that would reduce the repair cost significantly, I have used Dubberts for maintenance, winterizing and storage for over five years. Their service, expertise and, most importantly during our short boating season, their quick turnaround is a standard all marine mechanic shops should aspire to. My drives are great in great shape, the parts are all genuine OMC and we enjoyed the rest of our boating season after this mishap.

This boat looks and runs like new. We had other marina's look at it for years. Dauberts is the only one that actually had the boat running smoothly and for much less money. They will call you if they find anything that needs repaired while working on what we told them to do. Saved us time and money not to have to trailer it twice. They cleaned the bottom of the boat for a fraction of what others charged. We had been looking to purchase a lift but for what they charged to clean it; we could have it cleaned to 20 years and still not hit the cost of an automatice lift!

    Dave's Marine Transport
Perfectly!  They scheduled the delivery on their truck's return trip, so got the discounted rate. they notified both marina's before pick and delivery; and the cradle arrived even ahead of the estimated time frame they gave me.  Billing was by e-mail, and people were very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again.

    Dave's Marine Transport
Very professional and personable at the same time. Well run business from the scheduling to the actual work performed. Dave haul's my 99 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer from the lake to my shop for storage and the back in the spring. Excellent to deal with and very knowledge, pain free from backing it in and blocking it up to hauling it back out. Equipment is top notch, I won't use anyone else..

    Bontrager's Surplus Inc
It’s a three and a half hour drive from us. We get RV parts at a discount. They have tons of stuff. In fact they have a building full of stuff and one never knows what they are going to find. Everything there is brand new. They are right in the heart of RV country where they make RV’s so whenever there is surplus stuff they buy it cheap and resell it. It is all new. They have cushions, seats, hardware and we never know what we aregoing to find. We buy a lot of stuff there.

I talked to a handful of dealers in this area. I found them through a web search because they were brokering a boat. It was overall a neat experience. I had to rely on them for a lot of the information. I hired a surveyor to go and look at the boat before I went to get it. They were upfront. They called me back and they were good communicators. They represented the product accurately.

Three men arrived men arrived at the heated storage building where the boat was located and performed the service. Left a few cigarette butts on the ground outside but otherwise service was satisfactory.

    Richard Lewis Travel
We used Richard Lewis Travel to plan our recent 19-day trip to Italy.  The trip was to include stays in Venice, Rome, Positano, and Tuscany.  From the beginning of planning, which started over one year in advance, we had communication issues.  He was hard to get on the phone, often had needed information in "his wife's car", and did not seem to fully listen or fully understand our desires.  We had asked for a week in Tuscany, and twice he provided us with dates less than that.  Friends who recommended Richard Lewis raved about a detailed notebook he provided which gave full information about where, who, how, and when to get around.  There were errors in his notebook that affected our trip, such as  providing the wrong train # for our trip to Rome, and omitted the need to get tickets validated before getting on the train. We had stated our desire to spend a great deal of time in Tuscany because of its known wine country, but he put us in accommodations in the southeast part of the region that made it impossible to get to the north Chianti region, effectively taking away half of the reason we spent 8 days there. Probably the most disappointing issue was not getting an itemized bill.  We asked for one, but he has not complied. We will not recommend his Agency to anyone.

From the start he told us he did not need the year in advance we offered him, but as it got closer he continually dropped the ball. Lack of good communications, plus refusing to provide us with an itemized bill when we were done left us unable to see if we got value for our money. He also was inept in directions we used while traveling. Would not recommend, at all!

    Lake Wapusun Campground
At check in we found that the area wasn't clean as advertised. We however did have a friendly check in experience. While the one woman working did have missing and rotting teeth and there were refrigerators for sale out front. The signage was very worn down and unwelcoming. Being that we are a family not to judge a book by its cover so to speak we decided to check in and give it a chance. Our reservations had been made with our tax refund in February after looking at the website and being in awe over the price we were getting for a A frame cottage in a place that appeared to be gorgeous at such a resonable price. We paid $160 plus a key deposit of $40. The bulk being the $160 paid ahead of time. So back to arrival. We got our parking pass and headed to the cottage the area around it was clean however upon entering the structure we found a stench that was unbearable as if the place hadn't been entered in years. As we walked through cobwebs and looked around at the dingy appearance of everything wondering if it had been cleaned in the past few years. We decided still that if we aired it out with opening windows and maybe buying air freshener that it would be ok so we unpacked and attempted just that. As we climbed the make shift stairs made of slab wood to go to the "bedrooms" upstairs my husband who is about 280 lbs stayed downstairs he could watch the floor bend under the weight of my 5 year old who is about 50 lbs. Once all of us were downstairs and started walking around you could feel the entire structure moving around. Not being a very wealthy family we didn't want to let go of that $160 and leave so we thought we would give it sometime to air out while we found a store. We drove around the campground to look at things to find their advertised "play area" to consist mostly of little tykes play equipment which is certainly not a play area I would of chosen for my 5 and 9 year old to enjoy. they did have a metal swing set with I believe 1 swing and a slide. The 5 lakes they advertise, not sure where 3 of them were she only showed me 2 at check in one swimming and boating and one fishing. The swimming area was very small. roped off and not very clean or welcoming. As we drove to find a store almost in tears I couldn't let my family stay there I told my husband we would just have to cut our losses and find something else. We drove back packed up and during this time found that even our parking pass said NO REFUNDS. I simply walked into the office told them we had to go and that I understood they had a no refund policy and I wouldn't argue that but that I wanted my check back for the key deposit. They did return that I was so upset that there was no way that I could of fathomed the argument trying to get our money back. I have since reported them to BBB also putting a review on their yahoo page as well as a facebook comment on their "fan page" that was deleted.
