    The Eco Plumbers & Drains
My 3 year old water heater was leaking. It needed replaced. My water heater was under warranty. ECO-Plumbers does not sell that brand. The tech took the time to find a local wholesaler who sold the same brand as my water heater. He did all the paperwork to execute the warranty. Then he took my water heater to that vendor and picked up the free replacement water heater. Brought it back to my house and installed it. I probably could have found someone to perform the install for less, but these guys came out the same day. No hassle. Very professional. I will call them the next time I need a plumber.

    Plumbing One
One of "farmers" came to repair a leaking drains hi. We also requested an estimate replace some faucet cartridges in 2 bathrooms. The 1st visit to repair the drain included a more than one hour time away from our house to get parts. We of course are charged for this time. 2nd visit repair the faucet cartridges included and even length time away from the job, which is difficult to understand given that the plumber had already seen the faucets (Moen) that needed cartridges replaced. Worst of all, on multiple faucets the former reverse the hot and cold water flow, and had the nerve to tell my wife the water had always had the hot water on the right. After I confronted the plumber I asked if the cartridges could be defective. I wasn't entirely ignorant in the manner since my father was a licensed journeyman plumber. Plumbing one's plumber, Pat, finally yielded and figured out how to reinstall the cartridges properly. In addition to the bad service, I'm suspicious that much of the time away from the job was unnecessary. There is a Home Depot and Lowe's both within 2 miles of our home.

    Professional Gutter & Drain
Another great experience with Professional Gutter and Drain. This time they installed a french drain in a part of my yard that is nearly unusable whenever it gets wet. From the start, communication was consistent and on point, people arrived when they said they would, and they work to educate, not sell you on their products. Kevin, Chris, and Wyatt did a great job with the installation and made sure to clean up after themselves. The company has been in touch post-installation checking on things and will even come back later to finalize the grade in the yard once everything dries out. I've used this company for gutter cleaning, drain line inspection, and now drain installation and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

    Garcia Home Maintenance & Repair
I called Mr. Garcia to give me a quote to replace a single bathroom sink vanity with a double sink vanity. I was given a written quote of $850.-. This included parts and labor. The job was done during the requested time frame. After the job was done, Mr. Garcia presented me with a bill for $970.-. I was told that my bill was higher because, supposedly, the price for the parts were higher than expected. Also, both new sinks have a couple of small scratches because they werent careful enough when putting the faucets in.

    Midwest Water Systems
Eric was friendly, professional, responsive, and punctual every time he spoke with me on the phone or came to my home. He did not pressure me to make any purchase; he merely made some suggestions based on my home and my needs. The entire process was very simple, and his schedule was very accommodating.

    Plumbing One
Excellent. Blower on hot water tank stopped working. Don, owner was able to come out same day to exam motor and determine needed new hot water tank, which was late Wednesday. Don was able to reschedule his technicians and got someone out Friday morning to replace the tank. John, the technician was very professional and creative in replacing the old corroded tank with an new tank and completed the task in the time he said it would take to fix. Also fixed the issue that possibly caused the blower to collect condensation and eventually force the motor to stop working.

    The Eco Plumbers & Drains
This is the first time I have used this company. The job went well. The technician did a great job installing the new gas line. He was courteous, friendly and respectful of home. Cleaned up all debris. The company tries very hard to be customer service oriented with phone calls to remind you of your appointment, to letting you know technician is on the way 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time, and calling to follow up after project was completed to make sure you are satisfied. The one suggestion I would give to them is make sure the technician has all the supplies he needs before he gets to a job because my project was delayed one day because the plumber didn't have the needed supplies to complete job so I basically waited a whole day and got nothing accomplished which was disappointing.

    Joe's Drain Cleaning LLC
This company was very prompt in all that they did and very friendly at that. Started digging to curb but found that it was not needed. Only part needed replaced. Offered a senior citizen discount without being asked.

    Peterman Plumbing & Heating Inc
AWHR sent Peterman Plumbing & Heating Inc to perform the repair. They were responsive and called within 30 minutes to set appointment. The work however, is unacceptable because when they said they'd take care of the malfunctioning programmable box, I thought they meant they would repair/replace it, but they removed it! They also set our water temperature too high - I tested it coming out of our kitchen faucet at 145 degrees, even though there is a sticker on the front of the water heater indicating dangers in setting the temperature higher than 125. Peterman never mentioned even changing the water temperature - we found out quickly on our own. I called AWHR again today to get Peterman back to reset the water temperature to a safe temperature - two hours later I have not yet heard from them. Very disappointed with AWHR and Peterman Plumbing & Heating Inc - would NOT recommend!

    Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
After arriving on Sunday, the service person said he couldn't do anything because of the standing water and had to call a "water remediation person" to come and advise. After waiting almost 2 hours for this person, and some discussion they decided it was okay to proceed. We declined their service to "clean the area". They quoted $419 to run this sewer line, but wanted an additional $325 to run the kitchen line. Both much higher than expected. I think they took advantage of the situation and my elderly mother who was home alone at the time. They ran the sewer line and did get the water to go down. The service person left after getting paid. The whole process took about 4 hours. About an hour later, my mother flushed the upstairs toilet and water backup up again in the basement. This time it was minimal, but evident that the job was not done correctly. On Sunday evening, I call Roto-Rooter to complain and the said they would send someone back out on Monday between 1 pm and 3 pm. I was at my mothers home around noon , waiting for them to arrive. At about 3 pm, someone called to say the service person was running late and it would be closer to 3:30 pm. We waited. At about 3:30 pm they called to say it would be another 30 minutes. When the service person arrived, he explained that they did NOT tell him it was a recall for a job from Sunday, and it would be $325 to run the kitchen drain and fix the issues. I explained that my mother had already paid $419 for the sewer line that still wasn't working properly and could not afford another $325. After some extended haggling, he did offer to discount the kitchen line to $200. I agreed to pay this extra charge myself if he guaranteed he would clear the entire kitchen to basement system and fix the issues. This service person was wonderful and did a great job. He got the drains cleared, he slop sink emptied, and the lines running. However, the poor ratings are because of the whole experience and pricing. I called them because of their name and visibility, but never again. While the second service person was wonderful, the whole process smelled kinda like the water in the basement.
