    VET CLINIC EAST
    Don't like the groomer. She could pay attention to what she is doing to the pets while she is grooming them and less talking while she is grooming them. Maybe she can focus. Her prices are a lot higher than the prices of the groomer that the vet previously had in there. Her quality of service is not up to par. She nicked my dog and I told her I needed a gauze or something to put over the place where she nicked her so the blood would not get on me because I carry her. I just did not want her blood to get on my white shirt. She went and told the vet that I was hysterical about the dog getting nicked and I wanted to put something over it. The vet was like you can't put anything over it. That was so far from what I said. I just did not want to get my white shirt messed up. Things happen. They said oh that is not what she told us. That was just unnecessary. I have witnessed her trying to groom a dog while having a long drawn out conversations with people and not paying attention to the dogs. I thought that is really ridiculous. You have got to pay attention while you are cutting or grooming dogs.

    Our groomer is"Chrissy" and she is wonderful. Chrissy is a sweet, kind and loving person and you can easily tell how much she loves the animals. I can't imagine having anyone else groom our dogs. By being able to have our dogs groomed right at the house we eliminate the need for them to sit at the groomer all day long, stressing in a cage while waiting to be groomed. Chrissy takes about an hour to groom each of our dogs and they do so much better because they aren't away from home for hours on end waiting...

    We are extremely happy with the service Aimee provides. The dogs enjoyed it and when she was finished and was explaining everything she had done they just wanted to keep playing with her. It was the best cleaning they have had in a long time from various groomers. Scheduled the next appointment right then. When you consider her price is one price and the other places keep wanting to add on different items it is a better deal and you get more for your money. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

    It went very well. Stinky is a very anxious dog, but seemed to be pretty relaxed. He even laid down in the car on the way home (which he NEVER does). His haircut looks great and Lori is VERY nice and personable.

    The kennel experience was great, but unfortunately the grooming experience was not. When I called about the kenneling and having my dog, Lily (a King Charles Cavalier), groomed on the day that I was to pick her up, I stated specifically that I only wanted a wash, brush and nail trimming -- no coat cut or trim. I was assured this was in the notes for the groomer.
    On the day I dropped off Lily, I again confirmed with the lady at the front desk that I only wanted a wash, brush and nail trimming, and that I did not want her coat cut or groomed. I was told that, although it was in the notes, the groomer will call me before she grooms anyway, as that's what they always do. I never received a call.
    When I picked up Lily, she has been groomed - her coat and skirt cut - and not a good cut, but choppy!!! I was horrified!!!! I have been growing her coat/skirt out for 3 years and it got cut off in a matter of minutes!!!
    I received an apology and was asked who the lady was at the front desk that I talked to. I described her, and their response seemed to be that of and quot;Oh yeah, we figured it was her!and quot; But the end result was that Lily's coat/skirt was now a chopped up mess.
    I was actually told by the girls at the front desk that my dog was uncooperative during the grooming and the coat/skirt would have been cut more by the groomer, if she weren't so nervous. THANK GOD Lily was uncooperative!!!
    Also, I was not offered to be reimbursed for the grooming, or anything. Just a and quot;sorry!and quot;
    Thank you,
    Debi Shafer;

    A DOG'S BEST FRIEND
    After not being pleased with my previous groomer, have been going to Laurie Tanner at a Dog's best Friend. The dogs are comfortable going there - no anxiety and Laurie does a great job with my dogs. The price is comparable to many groomers in the area. Am happy I can bring the dogs in on a Saturday so I don't have to adjust my work schedule during the week

    Lori was so excited when we got there and to my "happy" surprise my dogs were not crated.  They had the run of her studio.  She even had beds where they could sleep.  She gave my dogs a puppy cut, she hand dried them, cut their nails, soaked my one dogs paws in a special soak for his allergies.  She truly cares about the dogs.  My dogs were NOT scared and they made themselves right at home.  I will definitely take my dogs back.

    Personal Touch Pet Grooming
    I love the shampoo and conditioner Vicky uses. Tasz doesn't scratch afterwards, and is very soft to the touch, not to mention he smells so-o-o nice when we pick him up. Always take your pet in on a leash for their protection. Vicky has crates in various sizes, and I feel he is safe when in her care.

    BROADWAY KENNELS
    They are very nice and polite. They listen to you. I have a dog that has a lot of anxiety problems as well as long hair. They listen to us about how to trim her or give her a bath and groom her. Next door they have a boarding facility but I have not had the opportunity to use that. The kennel people have said that if I board her they will keep her kind of apart from the other dogs because she does have these anxiety problems; so they can be very accommodating. It is a very nice company; I like it.

    Adorable Dogs
    The receptionist and the person I thought was a groomer were very nice when we arrived, but I should have canceled the appointment when I saw and smelled the entryway. When asked what I wanted, I described in detail how I wanted the dog's tail and britches done and that I would like him done in the shortest time possible so he wouldn't have to be crated long. They charged me less than what was quoted and had him done in 2 hrs, but it was not worth it. I have done a better job on him myself. His britches were choppy, a section of his tail hair had just been cut away instead of tapered. The undercoat of his back legs and his shoulders wasn't brushed out or thinned and they did not do any grooming of his ears at all. Some of his fine hair wasn't touched, while other areas were cut straight across. Not a professional job at all. The only thing they did was get him in and out quickly.
