    Technician was dispatched within 48 hours of filing claim through Choice Home Warranty. Technician assessed unit and found control board was failing. Advised unit be replaced as continued failures would cost more to repair than to replace. Choice advised me of the cash payment option for me to replace with a model of my choosing, and worked with me to ensure a fair price was paid for me to replace with a similar model. Choice Home Warranty has been very easy to work with and resolved my claim in a timely manner.

    I called later afternoon and they had their technician out the following morning. The damper was not opening letting in the cooled air flow. With a minor adjustment freeing up the vent the problem was fixed. We were charge a diagnostics fee of $64.99 including tax. If a future repair needs to be made we are looking at $287.00 including parts and labor.

    Very nice guy showed up to look at the dryer. Diagnosed it was a computer issue, reset it, and left. No extra fees or anything which was great. Not real happy with the manufacturer who did not guide us through the button pushing to save everyone the hassle.

    It went well.  It was well done and the service provider, Mr. Cameron, was a really nice guy!  He was very efficient, expedient, and did everything he could. They had to put a whole new igniter in the stove, so that was the reason for the 189.00 price.

    i purchased the Angie's List coupon for a 29$ service call and diagnosis of a single appliance.  I called on Monday for an appointment and was offered multiple times that very day but went for Wednesday due to my wife and I's work schedule.  I was called just prior to the appointment window to ensure that someone was home.  They did indeed show up within the window, for which they are to be commended.  Our technician was Sean who was super professional.  He diagnosed our problem and fixed it. Unfortunately, the problem also involves a dryer duct that vents to the roof which understandably does not fall under his realm of professional responsibilities.  He fixed the problem which was a tripped fuse secondary to excess heat buildup and informed us that it was relatively unsafe to run the dryer until the root problem was fixed.  I found that to be very responsible and professional.  He was in and out within 25 minutes and took the time to explain the cause of the problem, his fix, and the rest of the issues that needed to be addressed in order to safely have a functional dryer.

    He wasn’t able to fix the appliance but he was very personable and very good to work with.  He spent about half hour do it and it didn’t take him long to realize that it had died.  The price was pretty reasonable.  It was on a Saturday and he was the only guy I could get to come out that day, so that was important for me at the time because it was a refrigerator.  He was here within two to three hours of my call and was able to diagnose the problem.  He wasn’t able to fix it but he was able to diagnose that it was dead and I knew I had to get a new refrigerator so he was very good to work with.  He told me he was retiring at the end of this year.

    I discovered that our refrigerator was not cooling. Even though I called Dave Smith at 4:30 friday night they were able to send the service man (Jim) out at 5:30. It only took him 5 minutes to figure out the problem---he had the part in his truck and repaired it by 6:00.Jim is a very nice man with 10 years of experience in the business. I got a $12 dollar discount for angies list and also a 10% senior citizen discount.  I highly recommend this company.

    At first I thought the price was high, but it ended up being about 20% of the retail cost of a new unit, so it wasnt really that bad.  The onsite repair man was professional, but one of the people answering the phone was rude and unprofessional.  We called in to confirm the time and the operator thought she had put us on hold and said (paraphrasing) "I wish these dumb f*%ks would learn that an 8-12 window doesnt me 8 o'clock.'  Then hung up the phone so we had to call right back :( It was disappointing to know that there was so much angst around confirming the arrival time.But now my washer is working well and the charge was fair.  I see that I could have had it repaired a little cheaper, but then would not have the warranty on the repair performed, nor would it have been completed so fast (as I needed special order parts).

    Also, they charged us a the same service fee twice (on the analysis and then on the repair), but as of today, said that they will be refunding the second charge.
