    Pure Vision Center
Pure Vision filled my script from another optometry office because I found cute frames at their office (frame cost $169). When the glasses came in, I literally could not see through them - terrible Rx from the other office. When I revisited the original optometrist, he adjusted the Rx but unethically refused to take responsibility for his poor diagnosis and reimburse me for new lens costs. When I asked why, he in effect said it was because I did not patronize the eyeglass store attached to the practice. This even tho it was verified that the problem was his script, not the eyeglass lab. I was to be stuck with paying another $400 for corrected replacement lens! Dr. Austin Saneholtz from Pure Vision Center came to my rescue and not only agreed to redo the eyeglass lenses FREE, but also gave me a whole new eye exam...again, FREE! Something he was not obligated to do. He was able to improve even the updated Rx! And might I mention that I have never had a more thorough exam and sharper Rx in my whole life! I've worn glasses since I was 14 and am now in my 60's. So I know a good script when I'm wearing one. The two opticians (David and Penny) that assist you in filling the script were sensitive to my needs with great recommendations. They put me in Hoya lenses at 1/3 less the cost of what another Hoya distributor in town offers. I can't recommend them enough. Small enough to be personalized, but professionalism abounds. You won't be disappointed. Needless to say, I am now their new long term customer and tell all my family and friends about Dr. Saneholtz and his wonderful staff! Thank you once again guys for all your help.

    Reed Vision Associates
Both my husband and I had cataract surgery done by Dr. Reed.  I also had a hole in my retina, and Dr. Tao performed surgery on that.  Both were just outstanding.  The staff was wonderful, and the whole set-up was just great!  They were very professional, and had the latest, most updated equipment at their disposal. Sometimes you have to wait to see them because they are so busy, but because of the value of care you have and the fact that they never rush you, it?s more than worth the wait.

    Hathaway, Dr. Rodney A.
Dr. Hathaway has been our family optometrist for many years. If you are looking for a true professional and enjoy having a doctor actually talk to you and never rush, then Dr. Hathaway is that doctor. He remembers nearly everyone's family's name (I agree with the other reviewer, I suspect he has a photograph memory or darn close), and he is genuinly interested in your eye care. Always happy to explain things, answer questions, and work with you on price of glasses. Money was very tight this year and I had considered going to Toledo to purchase our frames, but when I told his staff I had a tight budget they were able to find the same style frames and glass shape at a much lower cost than I had expected. His entire staff is very accomodating and helpful. I also appreciate the fact that they don't seem to and quot;overbookand quot; appointments so they get you in as close to your appointment time as possible. To me that is very important because I'm self employeed and I am not getting paid when I sit in an office waiting for a doctor. They seem to respect their patients time - which in my book speak volumes about his practice. I highly recommend this practice.

    Cable, Dr. Thomas A.
I wouldn't have anything negative to say about him; I have gone to him that long and I would not stop going to him till I retire. I have an appointment with him next month.

    Pearle Vision
I provided a prescription for line less bifocal reading/computer glasses and also for prescription sunglasses with progressive lenses to combine reading and distance vision needs. The staff members were extremely patient and offered opinions as I literally spent hours trying on various frames. The store had the bonus advantage of having a lab on-site to make the lenses within one hour, so I was able to do some shopping within the shopping complex and return for my glasses. So convenient! After taking my glasses home, I returned the next day for adjustments and the manager took extreme care in ensuring that the progressive lenses were properly fitted for my eyes and actually had the lenses re-done at no charge to ensure my satisfaction. Even later, I returned to the store because I found that the fashionable prescription sunglasses were too heavy on my face. Once again, I was assisted by the manager with complete professionalism to return the sunglasses. I was a rather challenging customer and required even further adjustments on other glasses. Each time, I was met with professionalism. My only issue was that I was not issued a refund after returning the expensive fashion prescription sunglasses, but still have a store credit that I will use in the future. Considering everything, I am still overall satisfied due to the professionalism in ensuring appropriate lens crafting and the convenience of being able to have glasses made on-site.

    Personal Eyecare
Dr. Potter is very straight-forward, casual and professional. That's not always easy to do. She got me into a different pair of contacts and I am much happier with her recommendation. She also took care of a recurring eye infection that my previous doctor had mis-diagnosed. The staff is very friendly and they seem to have a good system going as far as getting you in and out without delay. I have only been there a few times over the last 6 months but I do plan on using Personal Eyecare in the future.

It went very well. The eye exam was very thorough and the doctor explained everything very well. The technician that helped me in selecting new glasses was knowledgeable and patient. I was pleased with the whole experience.
