  I would hire Joe and team again in a New York minute. I had tile flooring put down in my three seasons room. Joe was punctual, professional and the workmanship was exemplary. I had received a quote from another group that was a bit less in cost, but after meeting Joe I knew this was the company I wanted to go with. The tile I selected was very textured and oddly shaped, I wanted someone that would take their time and ensure I was satisfied once completed. Mission accomplished! Thanks Joe!!

  Turns out the foyer tile we ordered was not the same as the sample we chose in the design center. I was able to find exactly what we were looking for at Floor & Decor and they handled returning the other tile and got my Visa credited for the purchase amount. I felt that was outstanding customer service for something that was out of thier control!

  The company provided excellent service and the employees are experienced, very professional, and skilled craftsmen. The patio doors had been an issue for years and they were repaired like new. The hardwood floors presented a challenge due to new installation procedures, but the carpenter kept working until he resolved the issue and the floors are showroom quality. Old bathroom tile was removed and new tile installed with no issues, and cabinets were refinished like new.

  Midwest Construction Services LLC

  On 2/2/2016 we paid them 1/3 down that was supposed to be used as a down payment and to pay for the material and products that we were to select. After selecting our materials and products and finalizing the designs, we paid them another 1/3 on 4/18/2016 - the date they were to begin construction. The contract stated that the entire project would be completed in 10-12 weeks. As of today, 10/24/2016, the kitchen has yet to be completed. Nothing else has been done to the rest of the home. There are also a lot of problems with the work that has been done. Examples include electrical, plumbing, hvac, and appliance installation. There are electrical wires hanging from the ceiling; electrical switches and outlets dangling from the walls; some outlets and switches do not work and are not connected properly; there is an hvac connection to our upstairs bathroom that hasn't been hooked up; and some of the plumbing is not working properly. All of these things have been in this condition for over 6 months and nothing has been done to fix them. We don't had a kitchen sink, dishwasher, or workable/vented range hood. They haven't yet installed all of the kitchen cabinets and counter top. The counter top we selected in March was never purchased and we lost it, having to go through the intensive process of trying to find another one at the beginning of Sep. According to the granite supplier, Midwest were warned for 3 months that they were not going to hold the slabs any longer and received NO response from Midwest; so they were forced to sell them to someone else at the beginning of Aug. I didn't find out about this until the beginning of Sep and ONLY because I contacted the supplier directly. When I confronted Midwest about it, they actually threatened to file criminal charges against me over a lie that I threatened one of their employees lives (a complete falsehood and intimidation tactic). I was furious and couldn't believe someone in charge of their company would speak to me and threaten me like that. I immediately contacted an attorney, and was very close to filing a lawsuit, but I really didn't think going down that road was good for anyone. I decided to work with them and give them once last chance to get this right, so we went through the process of looking all over town for a week and finally found new granite, although it was more expensive than the original. Midwest actually admitted that it was their fault and agreed to pay for 1/3 of the cost difference. Although that mistake was still going to cost us a lot of extra money, I was hopeful that we could actually work together and FINALLY get this resolved - so we accepted and assumed work would actually begin a new within a week or so. Well, that wasn't to be, because here we are nearly 2 months now since that happened, and still NO work has been done and they are now ignoring my texts and phone calls. Entire homes have been built in the time we've been waiting for a kitchen. I have sent them emails and texts over and over again trying to get some idea of when this was to be completed, and have only received "you're on the schedule", and then no one shows up to do any work or they do very little. Since Feb, they have had someone at my house doing work, maybe 3 weeks total (considering a 2/3 man crew working 8 hours/day). I sent them an email last month telling them all these things, asking them to complete the job in a reasonable time frame, telling them we can't continue to live like this. We are a 7 person family living without a kitchen and our family room and bathroom is a wreck because they tore out tile flooring and large portions of drywall in these areas and have never fixed any of it. I don't think they will ever complete the work they have contracted to do for us. Enough is enough, I am filing this complaint and I am filing one with the BBB and the Ohio Attorney Generals office.

  Mike and his team were wonderful to work with - always very responsive and Mike takes great pride in his projects. This has by far been the best experience I've had when it comes to projects for my home. Mike and his team also always showed up whenever they committed to being at the house unlike a lot of my experiences. They were also great about being around my dogs which was appreciated. His team was also extremely nice. My finished basement looks awesome!

  Handyman Matters Northeast Columbus

  This is the FIRST home improvement experience that was good from start to finish. Everyone, seriously everyone, was wonderful. They squeezed me in in a moments notice when I was panicking over a rotted sink base. The contractor was lovely. He was kind, considerate and knowledgeable. I generally am nervous with contractors in my home due to terrible previous experiences, but he had skills! My fiance said it's crazy it took us this long to find such a great service. I will use them in the future and am actually trying to cancel a backsplash install with another company so I can have handyman Matters do the job. Highly recommend! I will say their a little pricier than some but take it from someone who learned the hard way that you get what you pay for.

  If it had not been for Scott Kimberling's knowledge and experience I would never had known we had hardwood floors underneath old carpeting in my wife's childhood home we wanted to update and sell. Scott was extremely busy, but he and his staff did both a beautiful and timely job at a very reasonable price.
