Reynoldsburg Chiropractic Center John C Kohl DC

Dr. Kohl and his staff are fabulous.  Whether it is for a regular adjustment or my husband and I have done something to our backs that requires to be seen before our next appointment, Dr. Kohl and his staff have gotten us into the office on the next available appointment.

Great experience all around (with one exception).  I'm always treated well, glad to be seen, and most importantly, I always get effective treatment. All the insurance and billing matters are seamlessly handled, and I have to say this is all-around, hands down, the best office of the 6 or 7 chiropractic centers I've been to in the last 15 years or so.
If i had to find one area of improvement, it would be the timeliness of my appointments. And I realize this fluctuates depending on the day's events. For my most recent visit, I was on time for my appointment, but waited in the waiting area for 20 minutes, before being taken to another room where I waited for 15 more.  All told, I was seen 35 minutes after I should have been.  This has happened on more than one occasion.  So, lesson learned- I now schedule the first appointment of the day.
Still, it's a great practice. Dr. Kohl and his staff are great, they care, and most importantly, they fix what ails ya. Or, they did for me, at least.  Highly recommend!

    Tutor Time
We enrolled at Tutor Time in January of this year and were right away impressed with the friendly staff! My daughter began in the Prepper classroom for 2 1/2 - 3 year olds. She was not potty trained and her verbal skills were behind. Within weeks we noticed a huge difference! Her teacher does a great job helping to potty train as well as working with her on her social and language skills.
Also, they have been very flexible if we need to change her schedule to drop off earlier or pick up later.

It was a great visit. In April it was a follow up care. We have been to two different doctors in the practice over the years. One for the knee and one did surgery on my son's shoulder. They have both recovered and I will always go back there for care. We live in Pataskala so it is a lot further but I trust the doctors and nurses.

I have been seeing them for several months now.  I started with low back pain which has since resolved.  Also, I have limited range of motion due to a degenerated disk in my neck.  We are still working on this but it has improved.  It will likely take long term maintenance.  In the interim, I developed middle back pain due to all the coughing that comes with bronchitis and that has been resolved.

Precision Power Systems of Ohio, LLC
Things went badly and are not yet resolved.  We bought a GE 20Kw home generator from Home Depot after meeting Tim Richards at the Fall Home Show September 11, 2011. We got permits for a contractor to install a home standby generator & Tim came out to our home on 09/16/11 gave his estimate for $2,000 to do all of the gas and electric work for $2,000.  The generator was installed on 9/21/11 by Precision Power Systems (PPS).  The installers had some issues.  First, they were told by Tim that we were installing a Generac and not a GE.  They discovered this & then said that they did not have the correct wire to do the job.  They said that Tim told them incorrect information & they needed to leave to get parts.  When they did return with the wire, they also brought a battery, & we noticed right off that it was not the right size or type of battery according to the manual, but Louie said that the guy at Napa Auto Parts said that it was a suitable substitute.  We told Louie that it was not suitable because it should be a minimum of 600 cold cranking amps & this one was only 450.  Then we noticed that the wires going to the generator for the battery charger were not the correct size.  Again, Louie said they will do.

Then, later that day installers experienced some install issues.  They kept getting a Fault Code 8.  Two hours of checking it did not bring a result so they left around 5pm saying that they would return in the morning to fix it.  They took the instructions home with them & were planning to read through it & try to figure it out & then would try in the morning again.

On 09/21/11, Around 6:30pm or so, the owner of the company, Tim Richards, called us from his cell phone (614) 402-4700 to say that he was upset that we did not pay the installers for the installation. We had assumed that the guys did not ask for payment because the job was not completed.  Tim?s response was that ?the generator operated manually but not automatically so this must be a warranty issue; his men were finished, they?d spent too much time on it, the install was complete as far as he was concerned.?  He said, ?You asked for an install & you got one & I need to be paid.?  I said that it was installed but was not working as it should.  Tim said that we got what we asked for ?an installation & he wanted his money.  My husband nodded that the unit did start manually if he would go outside and push the button, & that the men had said that they would be back in the morning to trouble shoot the issue.  He agreed to pay the men in the morning because he believed that the company would make good on their word to fix things so the generator was installed correctly & pass the electrical inspection.

When installers came back the morning of 09/22/11, they were very quick to say that they were going to go over things to make sure it was wired right & then they wanted the payment.  Louie said that they did not ask for payment yesterday because they felt that the job was not done, but Tim did not feel that way; Tim was upset because they did not ask for the money right away on 09/21/11 before they left our property.   Installers were not here long on 9/22/11 before they said that this was a warranty issue (repeating the words Tim used on the phone last night so they could leave quickly) & said they would call GE to schedule a warranty visit.  My husband paid them the cash money for the install & they had him sign the paper saying the work was done.  They left.   We thought that we would hear from the PPS guys regarding the warranty tech but we did not. We had to call GE about it himself.  After being on the phone for a few hours, he finally was able to talk to someone who could help him.  She gave him the GE number to call regarding warranty issues.  While we still waited to hear back from PPS, we called GE to find out how to get a tech over here to make the generator work like it should.  They said that a tech would be calling we back.

On 9/26/11, Dan, the Licking County electrical inspector, came to inspect the generator electrical installation.  He spent time with us looking at the electrical box in the basement & telling him what was wrong & then he made a long list of things that were not done according to NEC code & needed to be fixed so we could reschedule the electrical inspection.  Dan?s words were that it looked like the installers took shortcuts & it was not done according to the installation instructions for this generator, including the battery.  After he left, we called Louie on his cell phone with the message that the inspection failed & we needed them to come out & fix things asap.  Installers came out the same day & we gave them a copy of the inspector?s report.  Louie said, ?We?ll make you first priority to get this thing completed correctly.?  Before isntallers arrived, we had emailed Tim?s PPS office with this same fix-it list, & we called his company to leave a message regarding the failed electrical inspection, & then called Tim?s cell phone leaving another message, but Tim has not yet replied to our messages.  installers went downstairs to the electrical box & checked the dip switch settings in the transfer switch.  Louie said they were set correctly & they just turned the power off for thirty seconds & then on again, & the code was gone.  The power was turned off at the main breaker in the transfer switch box & the generator came on by itself.  They said, ?It operates normally.?  Louie then promised to come back & fix everything on the electrical inspector?s list.  They left & we believed that they would be back according to their word.  They did not return.

We sent an email to PPS asking for resolution of the electrical inspector?s findings is below.  Tim did not respond at all.  When we talked with the electrical inspector on 9/26/11, he told him that the battery was incorrect & inspector agreed, but since PPS told us they would bring the right battery, the inspector was not concerned.

On 09/29/11, we called Louie?s cell phone & talked with Louie, asking when they were coming back to fix the things on the inspector?s list.  We said that the weekly test did occur on Monday, but we need to have this wired to NEC code and get it re-inspected.  He said, ?I do what Tim tells me to do.  I go where Tim tells me to go.  After that call, we left another message with the PPS call center and on Tim Richard?s cell phone.  We are hoping to hear from Tim regarding a date for his men to finish the installation according to NEC code.   When we call the company office we get an answering service call center & leave a message.  When we email his secretary, it goes unanswered because she quit &d they have no one in there yet (they say).  When we call Tim?s cell phone, we get the voice mail & leave a message every time.  When we call Louie?s cell phone, he said, ?I do what Tim says.?  We get nowhere.  The generator comes on for the weekly test now, but the inspector?s report says that things are not wired correctly.  Though the battery that PPS supplied is not the right one according to the manufacturer?s installation manual & they promised to fix that too, we are getting nowhere with this company.  They are not responding to our messages.   On September 30, I left a voice mail on Tim?s phone asking if he would have his people bring the correct battery by.  He never returned the call about this either.   October 10, 2011 ? Monday   Around 9:30 a.m. the doorbell rang and it was Louie and Ken from PPS.  They said they were here to fix the generator install issues.  I asked them if they had the ?correct? battery, and Louie shook his head ?No.?  He said, ok, they walked to the truck and left.  A few minutes later the doorbell rang again and it was Louie saying that Tim Richards wanted me to call him.  I got a voice mail off the machine and it was Tim Richards from PPS saying, ?We?d like to come out & fix the things on that red tag today so call me asap.  Tim said they would fix the things on the electrical inspector?s list, but that he would not get us another battery today because he budgeted for this one only.  He did not sound like he was going to cooperate  I told him that the battery he installed is not according to manufacturer installation manual, and he still needs to do that, but then he refused, saying the battery is big enough.  He said, ?We can get that later.?    Re-inspection of the generator install is now rescheduled for Monday, October 17th in the morning before 11:00 am.    October 18, 2011-- Faxed notification to PPS regarding the second failed electrical inspection by the county inspector.   To date (6 weeks later) we still don't have the correct battery, electrical is not completed and we still can't pass the County Inspection.    November 8, 2011 -   As of this date, Tim Richards has not responded to any of our calls or emails asking him to correct the items on the second county electrical inspector?s list.  We see he?s filed bankruptcy in Ohio 11/1/11.

We have been using them for one year since end of August last year. It is a good company. I like everything about them. You can take the children as early as 6am and pick them as late as 6:30pm.
