  Not well, his crew did a nice job on the concrete pad and that was about it. The sub contractor he brought in to build the garage put the cross beams in wrong plus used some wood that is cracked. He only pulled the permit for the concrete pad and nothing else that included the necessary sketch of the work being done. He did not finish the acid washing or cleaning of the brick, did none of the trim work or soffits, plus all the new drains were not installed properly. He broke our contract on Oct. 24, 2018. None of the concrete work can be completed this year plus he left the job site in an unsafe condition.

  Modern Garage Builders

  We hired Jon to build a 2.5 car extra deep garage and to replace our existing concrete in the driveway and our front sidewalk. Jon seemed pleasant enough when we reviewed everything, but as the work got under way, he seemed very forgetful and we had to remind him of several things that we had asked for. While the work was not bad and the garage came out well, there was not much communication from Jon as to who was coming when to do what. In addition, Jon was more worried about offending the workers than pleasing the customer. When we approached Jon about a few things we were unhappy about (the apron of the driveway came out looking awful and the concrete curing agent liquid was sprayed all over the side of our house, staining it), he blamed us and lost his temper several times. After trying to deal with him, we gave up and went straight to the owner, who was very professional and fair and reduced the final bill to compensate for us having to clean the siding. I would use the parent company (D'Amico Construction) but would never use this company or Jon again.

  We took advantage of a special through the home and garden show which was in March and had until end of June to get on their calendar. The price for the shed was very reasonable; its all the other stuff that adds up (foundation, clearing the old structure, painting new structure). And, we had to handle all the other stuff. It was a father/son crew that showed up to build the structure on site. They were here by about 8:30 am and done by noon. Worked hard, cleaned up and were on their way. Note that the attached picture was after I finished painting, price of sheds does not include painting or staining.

  My garage floor was a mess. After 50+ years of Ohio salt my floor was pocked and crumbling. I had Custom Home repair the floor by leveling and adding a top coat of cement and filler then cover with their Epoxy Coating. The result was fantastic. I was able to order custom colors and flakes sizes to me preference. One year later it still looks new and is a snap to clean. A great product.

  Gibson General Contracting Inc

  I've used Gibson on a couple projects around our house. Last year he installed a pull-down ladder so we could obtain easier access to our attic (previously the only way in was through a small panel in the ceiling of our closet). He also helped patch a couple openings around our deck and backyard shed which raccoons were using to gain entry. Most recently, he installed vinyl tile we'd previously purchased in our basement. I've been happy with his work thus far and I plan to use his services on more upcoming projects in the future.

  Just-A-Shed

  The whole installation of a new shed went very well.  Two guys came early in the morning and started to assemble the shed.  They made sure that the area where I want the shed built is where I want it to be.  It's really nice to see how a shed gets built piece by piece and it shows the many years of experience these guys have in building sheds.  The shed looks nice and sturdy.  I believe this shed would last for many years.

  Just-A-Shed

  The workers arrived at the exact date and time they said they would be there, They started work immediately. They were very courteous and explained how the work would be done. Both of the men worked tirelessly through the day in very hot weather. You could see the skill and professionalism the workers had.They finished the shed right around the time they stated. The shed doors had to be left behind because of weight issues with their truck. As promised the doors were brought in later and the shed was finished in one day. There was no mess left behind. I am very satisfied with my new shed. I would definately reccommend Just -A Shed if  you are considering a project like this. After having numerous issues with the last two contractors I hired for other projects ,I was a little aprehensive about hiring another contractor. Having Just-A-Shed complete this project with no issues was like a breath of fresh air for me. I would like to thank John and his crew again for their great service.
