Did not charge anything for the emergency consult appointment or for the knowledge she shared to help me rectify the problem. In this day & age, this kind of service is unheard of. Boda Home Improvement
I apologize for not writing this sooner. Although we hadn't chosen Andrew for our project, his estimate for our project was quite fair for the amount of work that needed to be done. We were impressed by the quality of work he had done on another person's house, and we will definitely consider him for another project we are planning. Andrew is courteous, professional but also friendly, and according to other reviewers who did hire him, he is a diligent, eager to satisfy his customers, and takes pride in his work--deservedly so.

    Desatnik Decorating
Although Jeff's estimate for the job was at the higher end of other estimates we received, we chose him to do the work because he addressed issues that other contractors hadn't. He began work on May 13 and completed the project on June 1. Jeff sanded, skim-coated and primed walls in the kitchen, dining room, living room and hall that had numerous cracks (he even found some we hadn't noticed) and thick paint runs, so that when he was ready to paint, the walls were as smooth as new ones--and the newly painted walls look great! He also removed an old ceiling fan in the kitchen and patched and painted the ceiling in the kitchen and dining rooms, leaving no evidence at all of a patch. Jeff removed old baseboards and window and door trim in the kitchen and dining rooms and replaced it all with new wood in the style that is consistent with trim in the rest of the house. He spent a good deal of time working with stains to get the new wood color as close as possible to existing trim, and it all blends nicely. Additional materials increased the final cost of the project a bit, but it was well worth it. What impressed me most in addition to Jeff's expertise was his strong work ethic. Once he started work on our project, he worked diligently every day and cleaned up work areas so well there was not a bit of disorder to come home to. And Jeff stayed with our job until it was finished to satisfaction on both sides. (There was a bump along the way due to a bit of miscommunication that we worked out.) Jeff takes pride in his work and the results reflect that. I don't think there is anything that Jeff can't do and do well. I recommend him highly for just about any kind of work someone might need done in their home.

I am so thrilled with the results! I was very confused with all the options out there until meeting with Leanne. She was so informative and had answers to all my questions. Her design suggestions were invaluable! Scott, my carpenter, was a total professional in all areas and friendly also. He really cares about the work he does and it is evident in the finished product! It was also important to me to have one company oversee and complete the whole project!!

    Bakai Construction LLC
I requested a quote from Bakai to install tile in a very small bathroom. I explained I had already removed the old tile and prepped the floor, and that I had purchased the tile, grout, and adhesive. I was looking for installation. Angie's List suggests that installing tile should be $4-$5 per square foot. [*** Link removed ***] Bakai quoted me at $25 bucks per square foot. Outrageous. Steer clear folks!!

    Pride Remodeling Co Inc
Pride remodeling updated our kitchen. Met with Paul to decide what was going to be done in the kitchen. Paul sent a list of suppliers where we purchased our cabinets, countertop, flooring. Once everything was selected a start date was chosen. Paul, Eric and Aaron always arrived on time, told us exactly what would be done each day and cleaned up at the end of each day. Anytime we had questions or decided to make a change or add something, Paul was very receptive. Would definitely hire Pride Remodeling again.

Fantastic. They came on time, spent 3 hours and made our shower area look like new. Very prompt, professional, knowledgeable and they made you feel like you were there only client. They estimated $400.00 and kept to their quote. When I need to regrout the rest of the bathroom or need extra caulking, would call only them.

    Class 1 Pavers & Remodelers
Upstairs went very smoothly. Incredible difference in the finished product from what we had before. Very clean and fresh. Even my Son and Daughter-in-law were shocked at how different it was. The downstairs bath was a major construction project made even tougher buy the tight spaces and low ceiling. Practically the entire cement floor of the whole 1/2 bath and the bar we had outside the 1/2 bath had to be removed to get at all the root balls etc.... found in the gigantic old pipes from 1960s. All new PVC was laid and quite a bit of cement was poured to finish the base floor. They grabbed as much space as they dared successfully building around the furnace and water tank. They fabricated a 36" pocket door to save space and with the space gained from removing the bar there was enough room for a proper ADA bathroom configuration allowing for wheelchair access. Several structural supports had to be relocated but that worked out ok. When they were finally done we couldn't believe the difference it made with grab bars installed, dimmers on all the lights and the closet in the back for supplies. A beautiful job!
