  • There is no excuse for them not being prepared for us. All you need for submitting the Eyemed. When i called the doctor to get things figured out, he was rude and fought me over the situation, the receptionist did nothing to assist with getting the process going to get her into the eye doctor who had nothing to do. They have a very dead office and there is nothing stopping them from doing their job. No apology was given. My mother is an older woman and it took us time to get prepared for the appointment. They showed no sense of urgency. They showed no concern for our situation. Neither the receptionist nor the doctor were busy at all.

  • We were overwhelmed by their friendliness. They gave us good explanations for things and really educated us. We were very pleased with them.  Their staff friendliness deserves an A+! We were referred to him from friends and other medical providers.

  • I have been going to Dr. Trepke for over eight years. He gives the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. He added another eye doctor a few years ago. His staff is great and his optometrist Ben is the best!

  • Overall, I didn't feel as if SVS Vision presented a professional environment.  The doctor spent minimal (necessary) time to check my vision and was hurried to get the appointment done.  There weren't any other customers waiting so I'm not sure why she was rushed.  In addition, there were limited frames to choose from (lots of duplicate styles in different colors) and I did feel as if I was being steered to the most expensive choices.  I only went to SVS Vision because they had a convenient appointment available for me but next time I plan on going somewhere else.

  • My insurance doesn't cover the visits However, Dr. Marks and his staff are so wonderful about trying all options to give you the best fit, and vision possible. I ahve trouble with contacts and he is patient and tries all ways to make it work.Regardless of insurance coverage I will continue with Dr. Marks

  • She is very good. She is in an office with an ophthalmologist if you need anything taken care of there. She is very accommodating, professional, and very friendly. She has good bedside manner. She is extremely thorough when she examines your eyes.

  • Ordered safety glasses for work first. I called a few weeks later to inquire about my glasses and was informed that they came in scratched and were sent back to manufacturer. Two weeks later new glasses came in and I picked them up. I could not see very well with new prescription and told the optician that. We agreed to try them for a week or so. After a week of wearing them off and on I went back because I still could not see well.  The optician checked the prescription and it was correct. She then checked the position of the trifocal lenses and the measurement was off by a 1/4 inch. Mind you the SVS optician made the initial measurement. Glasses were sent back and were gone for another 2 weeks. when glasses came in I picked them up and I could see perfectly. The problem was when looking at lights during the day or night there were many reflections. I paid for the anti reflection coating so I took them back to see what the problem could be. A third optician went through all of my records and saw that when the glasses were sent back the last time the optician at SVS forgot to check the anti reflection box on the form.
She said that I would have to send them back again for 2 weeks to have the anti reflection coating put back on. I told her that I thought that 3 months to get a set of glasses made correctly was a little over the top. I suggested that since it was their fault they just order a new set of lenses and I would give them back my old lenses when they came in instead of being without them for 2 more weeks. They said that they could not do that and that is where I left it. I went back to get a written prescription as I will never go back there again for glasses! I did not ask for a refund on what I paid for the anti reflection coating I did not get and they did not offer any refund. There are a lot better optical company's in the area.

  • He's great and continues to be great. I will continue to go to him. He's thorough and friendly. I just have great confidence in him. It's very easy to schedule appointments. His whole staff is very pleasant.
  • Dr. Elmquist was recommended by my family doctor. I can’t see sometimes and so I went to my regular eye doctor. I was not happy with him because he told me to take some eye drops which were $79 with not even an ounce of eye medicine. He told me to use those drops 4 times a day and I did that. My eyes started to clear up a little bit, but then the problem was back. So I had to go back again and this time he told me to take it just once a day at night. I told him that I couldn’t afford the price and so he did give me samples. That’s when I went to my regular family doctor and said that I needed a good eye doctor because I didn’t know what was wrong with my eyes. He then recommended me to see another doctor at the practice. I couldn’t see him, but I saw his associate, Dr. Kate M Wagner. She is the nicest, kindest and the gentlest doctor you ever want to meet. It was marvelous. Everybody in that office was very pleasing and nice. It was just unbelievable. She found out that my tear ducts were closed. I have only been to him once and he was excellent. My first eye doctor didn’t even tell me what I had or what he was treating me for. They were at the top of the line in everything. I would definitely recommend them to others.

  • I like him. It has been a year since our insurance changed, so wasn?t covered any longer, but I had a positive experience with him. I saw him at least twice. One thing I really liked is that he recommended that I switch to contact lenses that you only wear once and then is thrown away because I wear them so infrequently and I appreciated that.
