After my car hit was hit by a semi and I had vision and physical eye changes, I saw 4 eye doctors and was more confused than ever after each of them related different information. Thank heavens I was referred to Dr. Lystad!. She is a fountain of knowledge and one of those rare doctors who not only is empathetic & listens, but is up to date on current research and explains difficult medical concepts so that they make sense.

They are just awesome. She is very personable and very thorough. The place is very clean, and you can tell that the employees are taken care of. They are so happy to be there, and helpful. She explains everything that she is doing, and what she might do in the future. You feel very comfortable going to her. She is a good person.

My insurance doesn't cover the visits However, Dr. Marks and his staff are so wonderful about trying all options to give you the best fit, and vision possible. I ahve trouble with contacts and he is patient and tries all ways to make it work.Regardless of insurance coverage I will continue with Dr. Marks

He's very gentle and he tells the truth about things. My husband visited him for his eye check up before he passed away, and Dr. Marks was honest and told him that he need not have to go through the check up because of his condition and pay for it. I would score him high across the board and I would use him again in the future.

I get a "full" exam, like this one, once a year. I also get a more limited "Macular" exam 6 months from the "full" exam, due to a "partial hole" in the macula of one eye.  I made this appt at the time of my previous exam. I entered the office about 10 minutes early. I was called in back before I even sat down in the outer waiting room.  Staff members did various preliminary tests - checking the prescription strength of my current bifocal glasses; a test to check if the shape of the eyeball had changed since last visit; glaucoma test; macular exam; vision test.  Doctor Zgrabik then came in. He performed a retinal exam and in general discussed my situation with me, both asking questions of me and also listening to me - good two-way communications.  There was no change in the condition of my eyes or in my glasses prescription. I made an appointment right away for my next "macular" exam in six months.  I was not asked for any office visit copay at this time - the office will submit the charges directly to my medical insurance, then bill me later for whatever the insurance does not pay.  All staff members were friendly and professional, and very willing to explain and discuss matters.

I was taken in back very promptly, staffers performed various tests and administered glaucoma test eye drops and dilating eye drops.  Dr. Zgrabik then further examined me, and analyzed the various test results. No change in my eye health/vision at this time. I made another appt for 6 months.

She keeps track of my glaucoma and is very aggressive about keeping track of the medicine and I go every 6 months to see her. My field testing is everything 6 months, as well. She gives a lot of good explanations as to why she is doing what she's doing and explains the prognosis.

My ophthalmologist recommended Dr. Pajka for my LASIK Surgery.  I have recommended him to many friends.  I trust him very much.  The new office is huge!  I can now read and see distance.  My eyes are now perfect!

Dr. Elmquist was recommended by my family doctor. I can’t see sometimes and so I went to my regular eye doctor. I was not happy with him because he told me to take some eye drops which were $79 with not even an ounce of eye medicine. He told me to use those drops 4 times a day and I did that. My eyes started to clear up a little bit, but then the problem was back. So I had to go back again and this time he told me to take it just once a day at night. I told him that I couldn’t afford the price and so he did give me samples. That’s when I went to my regular family doctor and said that I needed a good eye doctor because I didn’t know what was wrong with my eyes. He then recommended me to see another doctor at the practice. I couldn’t see him, but I saw his associate, Dr. Kate M Wagner. She is the nicest, kindest and the gentlest doctor you ever want to meet. It was marvelous. Everybody in that office was very pleasing and nice. It was just unbelievable. She found out that my tear ducts were closed. I have only been to him once and he was excellent. My first eye doctor didn’t even tell me what I had or what he was treating me for. They were at the top of the line in everything. I would definitely recommend them to others.
