    Dave was excellent. Recommended him to one of my neighbors and he took care of her washing machine on the spot. Another company told my neighbor it would be weeks to get to get. Dave served her needs almost immediately. Have used Dave for repairs prior to this.

    I am in the process to try to figure out if it's really worth it. A part went on it and it wouldn't work at all. When they came out here, the only thing I wasn't real happy with is that they had to order the part so when they came here it's not like they had the part on the vehicle with them. It took another week. In fact, the part was mailed to my home. They set a date based on when I was going to get the part. The scheduling part was 2 weeks later. The scheduling part is fair. I had to wait another week after they checked it and figured out what was wrong for the part to come and for them to install it. that was the only inconvenience. My dishwasher is a Kenmore.

    I called and asked if the price of the service was $25 a service call and $60 an hour plus parts and was told yes. When he came to the house he said it was a $175 flat rate. We told him that we would like to get the 10% Angie's list discount or the 10% senior citizen's discount. He told us he would only give a 5% discount if we used a credit card and 10% if we paid with check or cash. When I called to dispute the price he told me that $25 a service call and $60 and hour plus parts is the same $175 flat rate. He replaced a igniter switch which according to what I found on the internet it doesn't cost $90 which is how much it would need to cost if the two prices that we were given were the same. The told cost was not overly expensive but I felt like he totally deceived us about the actual price it would of cost to fix the stove,

    He did as well as he could. The knob was not available any more, it's that old, but he tried to fix it and it did work for a little while. He figured out the problem right away. There was no unexpected issues, except that the knob was so old he couldn't replace it, he had to try to repair it. I got a discount. It was a temperature knob. The little device inside came apart and it was not replaceable. He hunted for it and he couldn't find it. So that was good, in his favor. But, he tried to use some kind of special glue, which held for a while.

    Used coupon for service call on furnace that was clanging.  Did a good job detecting issue and cheap fix of cutting out a piece to accommodate oversized motor that was replaced.  Fixed the issue.  Called them out again to quote a new furnace and air conditioner after deciding to just replace.  The salesman never followed up and assumed I was not replacing right away.  I ended up replacing through another company.

    Don was very efficient.  He assessed the toilet and determined that a part that had broken could be replaced.  He stated he had the part at home and went and retrieved the part.  He also fixed the seal in the tank to prevent it leaking.  This was a super result and was much more reasonable than a total rebuild in the tank.  He also returned the next week to determine if everything was still working properly.  He is very professional and efficient.  I would not hesitate to have him back again.  He also changed a cartridge on a faucet in the bathroom.  Everything continues to be working fine.

    A friend of mine smelled gas by my stove, so I called AHS, they gave me G & W Whim's Appliance, the company was busy, and that it would be a week before they could come out. I called AHS back because the fire department had to turn my gas of, the older woman was really nice on the phone, she said she would send someone within a couple days, 2 days later a guy did show up, but he was in so much of a excessive hurry, that I had to say something to him about being upset and that he could leave if he did not want to work it, he apologized and finished the job, and left.

    The Plumbing Source was pretty good. They came out, inspected my boiler, got it working for me and gave me an estimate for it. The disappointing part about it is that they spent over an hour trying to give me an estimate. The guy was going back and forth to his office and they finally gave me an estimate but their Ok and timely. They’re supposed to know what they’re supposed to do and know the estimate. It took an hour for the estimate which I don’t think is necessary.

    I am taking care of my mother who is in hospice care. When our washer started acting up I needed service immediately. J&J was extremely responsive. From the person who answered my call to the technician I was most impressed with their customer service and professionalism. My call was in the morning, and the technician arrived before noon. He explained the problems, various solutions, and fixed the washer without delay and neatly. I would absolutely call J&J for any services needed now!! THANK YOU!!

    He had to come out several times as the new part(s) he put in were defective (no fault of his). Finally, on the third try the new part worked. Through all this he kept me informed and came out at the dates and times agreed upon. Very nice to work with such a dedicated individual.
