    Delauro Remodeling & Repair Co
Best handyman/contractor experience we have ever had!!!

First of all, never have we ever had someone show up exactly on time (even a couple minutes early). We started with a basement that was hardly finished due to a previous contractor never showing up to finish the job. DeLauro came in and finished the job in 1 day! We had electrical work that needed completed, drywall that needed completed, molding, staining, and trim work. They did an amazing job and we will definitely be calling back for our next project. Still baffled at how they completed everything so quickly and professionally. THANK YOU!!!

Mark and the team did a first class job and I am really pleased with how it turned out.  The project manager was great to work with, was on top of things, did not cut corners, and made sure the job was done right.  We would definitely use JEMM again for any future projects.

Clink Builders & Contracting Co Inc
Our home (17 years old) is a 3200 sq. ft. home in an admired
development. We discovered that the west wall of our basement was leaning in
    about 4?.

We had experienced wet basement block on three of the walls (never
any water) along with vertical cracks and horizontal cracks. I called out a
home inspector who identified and noted the problems.

We went to Angies?s list to find a creditable and
trustworthy contractor to address the problem we also had highly advertised competitors
estimate the job but found that they were salesmen and not the actual contactor
    that would be on site.

Bill Clink (Owner) came out and immediately I was impressed with
his knowledge, credentials, and straight forward approach.

We signed a contact and within the agreed time frame they
were on site doing the job. His crew was excellent, respectful of the property,
worked exceptionally hard, and continually kept me informed of the progress.
They brought in the heavy equipment to dig the trench and worked themselves completely
around three sides of our home? Removing the clay and replacing it with proper
stone, putting in a new drain tile. They hauled away all of the old clay. It
was a very large operation taking two weeks.

They straightened the West wall that was leaning in and reinforced
it with rebar and cement fill down the internal opening of the block. They regraded
the plantings and put a toping of topsoil that we then could replant our
    landscaping.

I was impressed that every night they cleaned (power washed)
the driveway and cleaned the site.

It is an emotional event to have your home disrupted like
this. Bill Clink was on site 80% of the time and his son was on site 100% of the
time. It was an asset to have a family run business.

I have recommended Bill Clink Builders to others and would recommend
Bill Clink Builders to anyone in need of a basement contractor.

The test came this spring when we had a day of exceptional
rain (3 inches) and the basement was dry, and the sump pump worked flawlessly.

    Sincerely,

William A. & Mary Jean Fitzgerald

    DORDAN LANDSCAPING
When Dan (one of the owners) came out to give the estimate he was very nice, kind and considerate.  In fact, he was recommended by my neighbor who said that Dordan had been doing work in the area, as we do prefer to work with local companies.  When he came out we explained that we were concerned about them being here with my 4 year old son around due to his multiple disabilities. Dan assured us to not worry since he had worked in a hospital and just loved kids, so he would be very understanding.
We hired Dordan (Dan) and work began on July 25, 2012 and ended on August 8, 2012.  Throughout the project there were some communication issues and Dan had difficulty taking direction from us.  For instance, we had an issue with the window well installation where Dordan was filling in with gravel prior to attaching the well drains.  They were not following the instructions that were printed on the well or the permit drawings.  This did not go over well with Dan.  Work was halted while I consulted with the Building Inspector who advised having the drain installed as the plans called.  To fix this Dordan had to hand dig out the gravel around the windows to place in the drains.  This added time to the job, as much as another day.
Dordan did not display care around our home.  Several things were damaged:  a roof heater was cut, a cable line was cut, our lamp post was run over, my 3' white dogwood tree was run over, and our propane line was crimped.  My dogwood and lamppost were some 20 feet away from the foundation wall.  Further we now have a drain from our garage that needs repaired because they refused to reconnect it.  Our floor drains also do not drain properly.  As we have mentioned these issues to Dordan we receive a typical reply to some variation of it's not their fault .
Besides the additional damage to our home.  We also do not have a dry basement.  The egress windows leak and were not installed properly.  Dordan's response was to re-caulk the exterior of the window while not only blaming the manufacturer for the problem but also my 4 year old son for bothering them.  Even after re-caulking the windows they still leak.  I decided to contact the manufacturer to obtain a copy of the installation instructions.  The directions call for use of expanding foam - not screws as were used by Dordan.  It is no wonder the windows leak.
Furthermore, we do still have leaks in the basement. The first few time I called Dordan out to inspect the leaks I was told to wait longer for it to dry up.  Starting on September 22, 2012, approximately 6 weeks after our basement was waterproofed.  Initially, Dan had told us that it would take our basement 2-3 weeks to dry.  On, November 5, we had a puddle of water on the floor that extended out approximately 2-3 feet from the wall.  I attempted to contact Dordan on October 30, 2012 and requested that they come out to look at the windows as they were leaking again.  They did not call me back that time.  However, I was able to get them out on 1/31/2013 to look at the puddle on the floor.  To which they replied that of course this was our fault and not due to a defect in their product.  They are blaming my gutters and the garage drain, to which they disconnected.

Even on the day work ended, Dordan left our home in such a wreck that I phoned Dan immediately.  It is no surprise that they removed the advertising sign on the day they left.  My plants that were dug up were left to die, my topsoil that was to be saved was lost, overall my yard is still a complete wreck.  They took all of the metal s*** and construction debris that was dug up from around our foundation and spread it around all over our lawn while mixing it with the top soil that was set aside for our flower beds.  This debris & s*** material has no place being on my lawn - it is unsafe and unsightly!  My lawn is now anywhere from an inch to over 2 feet above the foundation!   Dordan's response 2 weeks after the job ended was that they could clean it up for $4200.  Never once did Dan mention that my lawn would be trashed and that I would need to have my lawn restored, and he especially failed to mention he would leave construction debris all over my lawn.  As it is today, my lawn is growing crab grass and weeds, that I can't use a lawnmower to safely cut.  My front and side lawns must be cut with a weed eater.
After my last encounter with them on 1/31/13 they threatened me with a lawyer.  In so many words they told me that I was wasting their time and a nuisance to them.  They feel that they have done what they were hired to do and will do no more.  So I have windows installed incorrectly and a leaking basement, nearly the same as it was before.  I was really hoping for an amicable solution, like a dry basement.  Unfortunately, Dordan (Dan & Doris) would instead like to play the blame game. They blame my husband, my disabled son, my garage drain being disconnected, the knowledge to which they presumed we had about construction, and more; all the while  claiming their quality product and service isn't failing.  It is quite amazing the list of excuses they have been able to devise.  They have already threatened me with filing suit for defamation of character and slander for my speaking up already.  This is the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had.
Here's a video of the windows: (My appologies, but I wasn't feeling very well when I made this video.)

    Revived Housing Developers, Inc
Not only was Frank very punctual, courteous, and honest, but his employees demonstrated these traits as well. The work started on-time and finished about one week early. During the process, great care was taken to minimize the mess and disruption to the rest of the house. Frank presented several ideas before and during the process of which many were used. Some saved me money, some cost me money, but all provided a better product and service. Not only was the work done in a very professional manner, but Frank ended-up about $2800 under his initial bid. It's not often that one enjoys a product that beats expectations at a price that also beats expectations. Bottom line, I wouldn't hesitate to use Revived Housing again and will refer them to friends and family.
