"From the moment we contacted Dr via e-mail from overseas to the day we set foot in his office, the whole team there has been absolutely wonderful." The staff were very friendly and positive. The team has events for the patients like free ice cream day and they have a program that encourages the patients to take an active role in their orthodontic care-- pretty amazing. The team sat down with us from day one and discussed the finances which were reasonable. Our son can go in at any time and get things he needs for his braces. They've also gotten us in for last minute appointments when something moved or came off. I've talked to others about orthodontics and have met many people who are not pleased with their provider, but anyone I've talked to who has Dr has been extremely pleased. I wish his office did regular dental care and not just ortho so I could have my whole family use him. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

"****Sorry this review is so long, but I wanted to I include all of the details. CONDENSED VERSION--this office ignored the fact that I have insurance and had me" finance procedures that my insurance would have covered*** I was looking for a new dentist for my daughter. She has insurance through her father's job, I am the custodial parent. I verified with her father's insurance that this was an accepted provider. I went into this dentist's office weeks before our appointment (I physically stopped in) because I had to designate them as the PCP before the insurance would let me make an appointment for my daughter. So the PCP designation was done in the office while I was standing right there listening to the office person make the phone call. I said all of that to say that THEY HAD MY INSURANCE INFORMATION, because that is a very important part of this review. Our appointment was set for a couple of weeks later. On the morning of our appointment, the office was pretty busy. This may be because they see both children and adults. We waited maybe 15 minutes or so to be seen. When my daughter was called back, they took her to the standing X- machine. That machine wasn't working, so the assistant took us to a room and did the xrays with a hand-held machine. Then we waited to see the dentist. The dentist was nice. He shook my hand, but he didn't introduce himself to me or to my daughter. The assistant didn't introduce herself either. But he looked at the xrays that had been taken and took a quick look into my daughter's mouth. He took less than 10 minutes with her. He told me my daughter had 2 huge cavities in 2 of her baby teeth and they needed to be pulled because since they were baby teeth, it wouldn't make sense to fill the cavities. This was no surprise, because I already knew that my daughter needed pretty extensive dental work, that's the whole reason I brought her in. The dentist said he was done & for us to go upfront to schedule the extractions. That was it, no cleaning, no free toothbrush, no cool stickers or -free lollipop for my daughter. My daughter has cavities, so she certainly does not need a lollipop, but the point is that all other dentists I've seen give kids stickers or toothbrushes or some kind of reward, and this office didn't give anything. When I went up to the front, the office assistant said that their specialist comes in once a week on Wednesdays, and the specialist is who does extractions, fillings, etc. She set me an appointment to see the specialist the following Wednesday. She told me the 2 extractions would cost $3000, but with my insurance I would only be responsible for about $1000. I did not have $1000 to pay for the procedure so the office assistant told me I could apply for financing, which of course I did. I was approved for the financing and my daughter and I left. When I got home, I called my daughter's father to let him know how the appointment went, what work our daughter needed done, and how much they told me it would cost. My daughter's father immediately told me that the quotes I was given for the cost of these services was wrong. He pulled up a copy of his insurance benefits and also emailed me a copy. 2 extractions should have only cost me about $65 with the insurance, so them telling me I would have to pay $1k was just flat out wrong. I called the dentist's office back 3 times that same day to try to talk to someone about the incorrect information I was given. I was told someone would call me back by 5:00p that day, but no one did. I went back to their office the next morning. I spoke with the doctor and 2 office assistants. They knew who I was, and apparently were aware of their mistake, because they told me that they were returning the $1k financing money I applied for back to the finance company. I asked them how had they verified my insurance information incorrectly. The office assistant told me, kind of sheepishly, that first appointments are free, so they didn't look at my insurance. This made me LIVID, because they had to have my insurance information before I could even make an appointment!!! And they didn't even look at it!! They didn't even bother to call my insurance company to verify my coverage, didn't even check my file to see if I had any coverage, they just immediately pushed the financing option. So, even though I had insurance to pay for my daughter's services, they didn't even bother to look at it. They treated me like an uninsured patient and had me apply for financing THAT I DIDN'T EVEN NEED. They make more money this way, because the finance company pays them upfront in a lump sum when you're approved for the financing. So, they basically get off -free. They sent the money back to the finance company and offered me a lame, unenthusiastic apologize. Meanwhile, I now have derogatory information on my credit report THAT I CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO FIX or REMOVE IT!!!! They basically scammed me, and DID NOT do their job properly. I am looking into what further action I can take against this company.

  • Dr. Provider name locked. and his staff are the friendliest group. From the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out you feel welcomed and appreciated. Both of my children have had their braces evaluated applied and maintained by Dr. Provider name locked. and his staff. My son told me the assistant did s great job and he didn't feel any discomfort when she made his adjustment. Happy kid happy mom.
