    Very unresponsive, if they can't find a provider or the provider can't find the parts, they just end the service ticket, happened twice so far. Every single time I have entered a claim with Choice Warranty, I start getting calls from them to purchase a home warranty from Choice. EVERY SINGLE TIME, shouldn't they know that I already have one!! Have been told by every service provider that they have to order parts online instead of going to the store because that's the only way they make any money. Service providers can take up to a month to finish the job because of this.

    Brian replaced the agitator gears and lid safety switch on our clothes washer and reconnected and sealed our dryer vent to its fitting on the floor. He was prompt, professional and friendly at all times. We would definitely recommend him for any appliance repairs.

    Showed up on time on a Friday. Said he would call next day with estimate for part and labor. He didn't call. We called him Monday, but they didn't have the information yet. We called again on Wednesday and left a voicemail. Still no response by Wednesday night!

    He could not have been nicer.  I just purchased a new home, and the front load washer was full of mildew.  He gave me advice on how to tackle the problem, and told me to call him if I wasn't able to resolve the issue.  I will absolutely call AMB Appliance any time I need service on an appliance; he could have charged me for an unnecessary service call and didn't - that shows a lot of honesty and integrity, which I much appreciated.

    Very well. My 20+ year-old clothes dryer suddenly stopped heating. I had wet clothes in it and another load finishing up in the washer. I was already trying to figure out the best way to get them dried, since I didn't expect to get a repair person right away. I called Brian, AMB Appliance, whose name I got from Angie's List. He happened to be on a job nearby and offered to come here after that. He did, he fixed the dryer by replacing the heating element and straightening out and tightening the vent. He was very efficient, explained things well, charged a decent price, and even looked at the wringer in the washer as well (he said it was fine). I would highly recommend Brian and AMB.

    Our appointment was scheduled within days. He arrived at the exact time he stated he would. He spent time to determine what repair was needed & if the repair was worth the money - (if a new washing machine was needed). Marty was willing to fix the machine - however, the repair would cost too much to fix - and it was determined by all that it would be better to invest in a new machine. I appreciate his honesty and his expertise in that he could have put a Band-Aid on a problem that would have only lasted for a very short time and merely wasted our money. Its nice to deal with a truly honest and experienced repair man. Thanks. Will hire for all my appliance repair from now on.

    I was very satisfied with my experience with AMB.  Brian was on time, friendly, and very professional.  I was having ice build up in my Kenmore Elite refrigerator due to lint blockage in the drain.  Brian disassembled the freezer and also showed me how to do it myself if I had the issue again.  I was surprised that he was willing to offer me training to help save me money in the future.  He did not try to up-sell me on any services and was finished in under an hour.  He will be my first phone call if I have other repair needs.

    The refrigerator side of our Sub-Zero was frosting-up on the back panel.  In a phone conversation with Dave, the owner, he assured me that the technician would be equipped to handle even the most serious problems, like a new evaporator coil or a new condenser.  As a matter of fact, we waited awhile for the appointment so that they could get a part not in stock.  When the technician came, he didn't even have the R-12 to re-charge the unit.  All he did was check the charge and give us the woeful story that our unit was too old and needed costly repairs and to give up on it.  He did no further checking to find out what the problem was.  He couldn't have fixed it no matter what the problem, despite what  Dave, the owner, had stated.  We could not have made a decision whether to repair or not, because the technician never did anymore checking.  I was taught that repairs always start with checking the simple things first, then advancing to the more serious.  Obviously their technicians are trained to go for the gold first, to always assume the worst case scenario.  This is the second time that one of their technicians gave us the song and dance that the unit needed a new compressor.  The first time I didn't believe it, and another technician used a sniffer and found that the problem was a leaking "tire valve", worth a few cents.  Another problem with this last service call was that the technician spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get the repair history of our unit, with numerous calls to the office.  We spent $127 to
    have no fix,  learn nothing, and to waste our time cleaning out the fridge so he would hopefully work on it, which he was not equipped to do.
