Auto Service reviews in Oxford

These folks restored our paint job to perfection after a mean person keyed our new truck. They also restored another vehicle after my husband hit a deer absolutely great work. A year ago, we stopped by to ask for advice about pine tree sap that had dripped all over the truck. The CARSTAR folks very kindly not only gave us advice but didnt let us leave until they had the sap removed. You just dont forget people like that who really want to help others (and do top quality work).

I had heard that this place was hard to get into, but we had no problem getting the work scheduled and done quickly. I like that the person who answers the phone is the owner or his son. They know what they're doing and treat guests well. Highly recommended.

They have the choice between self-serve and automatic washes. On the automatic, the quality of the wash is pretty good and they give you four options to choose from. They are eco friendly. The automatic system also takes credit cards, which makes it extremely convenient.

As I arrived the shop, they showed me available tint darkness, and once I picked the tint I want, they start working on it right away.the installation was done in less than 2 hours (2 windows, and windshield strip), and the they did nice job.
it's been a couple weeks, and everything is well.
I give B for the price since I have found a place slightly cheaper, but looking at their reviews, and the work they did, i would say it is worth the extra 10 bucks.  (with the coupon here on angle's list, it made the final price about the same though)

Making appointment was easy, and they came next day to my work place.I initially made an appointment to meet at home, but I changed my mind the morning of the installation.  The technicians were already out, but when he called me to let me know when they get close, i asked to see if he could meet at my work place.  he kindly change the meeting place for me.
the installation took about 40-45 minutes, and he was very tidy and very friendly.(he let me watch how he does, since I was just being curious...)
After an hour or so of curing time, I drove the car back home and I noticed some glue was pushed out from the edge, and that's why gave the quality, but it's easy enough o just cut it off with razor blade.(I wanted to give more like A- instead of B).I assume it can happen with any window repair, and it's not really a big deal.  since this is my first time having windshield repaired i'm not sure...
anyways, I am very pleased with the service they performed, and I definitely recommend them to anyone who needs service on cracked windshield!

They are very good.  They call you before they do anything and tell you what is wrong.  They make sure it is okay and tell you what it would cost.  I like that.  They try to do it in one day if they can.  You can also drop your car off in the evening and leave the key there.  They are honest.  I talked to other people and their prices were decent.

I specifically asked the counter person to have the air pressure in the tires checked because the "low tire pressure" indicator light was on. I even asked them to turn over the spare tire which hung under the bed of my truck and to check the air pressure in it. Well the spare tire air pressure was never checked and the "low tire pressure" light came back on within miles from the shop. I've since taken my truck to my local mechanic and he turned over the spare, set the air pressure correctly in all 5 tires and I haven't had any trouble since

It was one of the bad experiences out of more than dozen of car dealership. they have a good selection of Miata, and their price was set competitive. one of the car i was looking at was listed for just below $16,000. after test drive, look around the car inside out, under the hood, etc, I decided to make an offer. They said they will bring the price down to $15,600. I offered $14,500 out the door, which is about $2000 less than their asking price. and of course they did not take it. next day, I brought my wife to see if she likes the car, and we agree to make our offer to 15,000 out the door. from my research online, there were a few sales of slightly higher milage for $14,000 plus tax. I think our offer is not that out of the line, and we were going to negotiate our price up. however, Dan, the sales guy said "never mind then, I shouldn't have spent time showing you this car, should have talk about the price first" and turn around and left. I have never heard of car sales guy acting like that, it was very unprofessional. if he was thinking that we will stop him and take it for their asking price, he was wrong. Unless you want to buy a car with their asking price, don't even bother go visit them. I saw on their website "we've been in business for long time with a lot of returning customer, we must be doing something right" from my experience, it is not a customer service. and if customer service is not good, what else in sales business??? I will not recommend them for anyone. Side note, a couple days later, I found RX-8 which I liked at Kings Mazda Dealership and bought it.

After explaining what kind of car I'm looking for (small sports car which can be used as daily driver) we looked around and test drove Mini Cooper, and RX-8 which was on their used car lot. (I was almost deciding on finding Miata, but the ones they had at the point did not meet my criteria.) He came with me for the test driving, and we talked quite a bit about what i want, and he told me what I should look for. I ended up that I like the RX-8's driving feel, and start thinking that it may be better than Miata. Only concern about the RX-8 was high milage, an some wear and tear. however, the price was set right for its condition. Next day, I went back to see him to talk about other RX-8 that Kings Mazda (they are in same group CincyAutos.com) had in their lot. He told me that he has a good friend in Kings Mazda, and he made a call to Art Husted. Don even negotiated some price with Art, and found out one of the RX-8 may possibly go down to my price range. He told Art that I am coming to him and send me to art. I ended up purchasing RX-8 from Art at Kings Mazda (well at this point I'm putting hold on the car to be picked up in a couple days)

They are pretty good. It's out of Hamilton, they have 3 or 4 different stores. I've had good experiences there but I have a friend who didn't.
