Chubb Construction and Basement Waterproofing Inc
Chubb Waterproofing is excellent. I can't praise them enough. Excellent work, high professionalism, helpful, competent and knowledgeable as well as considerate and respectful. Everyone involved in the project worked above expectations and provided service of the highest caliber. Even the neighbors praised their professionalism and commented on the thoroughness of the work and service. Coincidently another company was working up the street and the contrast was plainly obvious as well as providing for an easy and timely comparison. My advice is to start with Chubb, and don't be put off by the cost. Let Chubb set the bar for quality and work the other bids from there. With the recent snowmelt and the rains this past week the work was seriously challenged and proved the job well done. I highly recommend Chubb to everyone, and I have.

Clink Builders & Contracting Co Inc
Everything went well and the crew did a very professional job. The site was thoroughly cleaned after the job was complete. They were very responsive to all my questions. It took a year from the camera work to the completion since there is a great demand for their work but it was well worth the wait.

Clink Builders & Contracting Co Inc
It was determined than one truss beam needed to be replaced and that ductwork would also need a complete replacement. The work described was in line with what I expected. The carpentry crew showed up as scheduled and the work was completed in 21/2 weeks. They also discovered some broken and drain lines and fixed them at minimal cost. The HVAC Contractor, Vent Heating and Cooling, LLC, followed and did a great job clearing out old duct work and some debris that had been left behind from work done long ago. They installed all new fully insulated sheet metal duct work, correcting the poor configuration from work done by previous owner. The difference in air flow and climate in the house was immediately noticeable. The work was well done, clean up complete and job completed in a timely manner. I would hire them again and in fact plan to when it is time to hook to sanitary sewers later this year.

    PAUL ZAGARIA MASONRY
His son and crew worked diligently once the project started. They had to hand dig the entire scope of the project. The biggest problem was that the promised start date was not met and impacted the other contractors at my home project. The delay was considerable and Paul was very unprofessional in dealing with me. Totally different personality after the contract was signed.

    Campea & Sons Construction Inc

Guy Campea and his sons were excellent!  We are very satisfied with their work product and in our experience with them. Campea and Sons worked on our home last November.  Before Campea, we either suffered water in our basement in the form of rivers and streams networking across the floor every time it rained, drizzled, or if Mother Nature just spit.  I, particularly, justifiably or not, felt unsafe using our dryer in wet weather. Since the completion of their work our home has been 100% dry.  We knew we had a failed weeping wall or interior "water control system", there were pressure cracks developing on our foundation wall, and suspected a blocked drain from tree roots. After careful research and assessment by several contractors, we chose Campea and Sons. They gave an honest and accurate assessment, and did not try to oversell us.  They were sensitive to our needs throughout the whole process, especially when we had last minute changes.  They adapted and completed quality work. Our basement is now comfortable and I feel relaxed and safe working there. We found Campea and Sons to be no-fuss, cooperative, high quality, and overall an excellent company to work with.
As a side note:  The year before our house was fixed, our elderly neighbor's family had her whole driveway and back patio replaced. It turned out beautiful.  Maybe a week or so later this company was back taking it all out and putting back an entirely new patio and driveway, again.  Our elderly neighbor's daughter told us that the company was not satisfied with the quality of cement they originally worked with. The company promptly changed suppliers, and opted to complete the project a second time just as beautifully as the first time.  That company was Campea and Sons.  A true testament to their standards.

    Diliberto & Sons Basement Waterproofing

    Very well.

Joe and another man came and worked very hard.  He is a very driven person who wants to do things well and as quickly as possible.  In regards to a previous negative review where he didn't want to talk much with a homeowner's wife I can understand. He's not much for chit chat; just getting the job done right.  I don't know about you, but if I want to hire someone to talk to me I will hire a therapist not a basement contactor (ha ha).  But in all seriousness he was very professional and considerate and did take time to explain things when needed.

Even went above and beyond in repairing a sub par spouting drainage system and removing a stump, both were not quoted in the initial quote but he did not charge extra for this.  He was very fixated on the idea that his family name would be on this job.

I was in a bind when I started, I had taken quotes from a highly reviewed contractor on here who quoted me 50% more than Diliberto's did.  That contractor also would not be able to start until 4 months from when Diliberto's started.  Joe came in took measurements, examined things and worked with me to fit me in between some commercial jobs he had scheduled.

Clink Builders & Contracting Co Inc
They came - they saw - they conquered - they cleaned up.  Really, my yard and garage were cleaner after they were there compared to before. They dropped all of the equipment off the night before so they'd be ready to go. Two fellows were there in the am - and got started right away.  They were polite - didn't step all over my flowers (other workers have always done this) and were so incredibly effecient. Really, these guys know what they're doing - they don't mess around.  And they were nice.
They also took a took at my septic system which was acting funny and Bill Clink even ran up to Home Depot to get a bottle of Febreze for my house!
My neighbors both commented that they couldn't believe how fast they got the work done and were out of there.  And one neighbor also had waterproofing done earlier in year.
We played a bit of phone tag to get things scheduled - but it was worth it. I'm going to call them again to do my patio when I'm ready to go.
I would highly recommend Bill, Eric and their crew!!!

    Municipal Services of America

I contacted this company on April 2, 2014 and left a voice message that I was getting estimates for some yard drainage issues we were having.  I did not get a response to my voice mail.  I always feel it is appropriate to get responses from companies within about 24 hours when a message is sent.  So, after not hearing from the company for several days, I called again and this time I was able to speak with someone in the office.  I described the problem with our yard and she said she would have Mike call to set up a time for an estimate.  After a few more days of not hearing from Mike, I called (4 days later) and finally I received a return call from Mike.  I told him I had two other companies giving estimates and I was just waiting to get his company's estimate before hiring someone.  He told me he would be out on the following Tuesday.

Mike did arrive that Tuesday, assessed the situation in the yard and gave me a written estimate within about 10 minutes.  I was impressed at this time (even after all the calls and emails that had not been returned). I asked him if he would be able to do the work the following week (this week), and he said that should be no problem.  I told him I would get back to him after I spoke to my husband about the estimate.

The next morning, (Wednesday) I called to confirm that we wanted him to complete the work.  I spoke with someone who told me she would let Mike know.  I told them I would like to set up a date to begin and that I had a few questions about the contract.  When I didn't hear anything again by Friday. I had sent Mike an email and asked him to let me know about a date we could start the work. When I called Friday, I finally reached Mike!  He said he had received my email (I'm wondering why he did not call me or email me after he realized I had been trying to reach him!)  I'm wondering why he could not have sent me a quick text, or email, or phone call within the previous 4 days to communicate with me!  He said he would get back to me.  Now, 3 days later, I am still unable to get an answer from him, or any form of communication.

I would have understood if he had texted or called and said he was too busy to do the work.  Or, if he had called to set up a tentative date.  But, instead, I felt like he was really ignoring me.  I think he probably decided the job was too small and too far away to bother with.  However, their web site states "No job too small!"  I cannot understand how a company can totally ignore potential customers, not return calls, voice messages, etc.  I tried to be patient at first, but when 4 days go by with no response, and it happens more than once, I am angry.  I wasted over a week just waiting for a response from him (I would have been happy even if he couldn't do the work!  I just needed to know!)  I had told him we had a landscaper coming to plant grass soon, and we are going on vacation and definitely want to get this yard problem taken care of soon!

I will be calling one of the other contractors who was much more responsive to my calls. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication by Municipal Services of America.

See above.  All went very well.  The provider was professional, respectful, and thorough.  He also recommended next steps needed to simply seal the basement cracks caused by natural settling.

He is very competent and knows what he is doing.   He could not provide a camera analysis of the drain because it has a P trap that the camera could not go thru.

But I expected him to clean out the drain that has some roots in it, but he did not put a cutter on the snake, ---- only a pointed tool that would only prove it need cleaning.
