    Assured Construction
The job was done in a very good, timely manner and the quality of work was excellent. The price was right; the company is fair and honest in their estimates and will do the job they say that will be done. I would highly recommend Assured Construction for your next project.

    Schindler Hardwood
Ed and his team did an excellent job. He was profession, punctual, knowledgeable, and returned all calls very quickly. He worked with a very tight work schedule and gave me a very competitive bid. Ed's team was great. They were respectful of our home and left the house cleaner than they found it. If you have any hardwood floor needs I cannot recommend Schindler Hardwood enough. We had a great experience with them and our floors look great!

    Schindler Hardwood
Ed and his crew were absolutely wonderful! They were very thorough and did an amazing job with our floors! The guys that came out for the install were very professional, punctual, and very patient while they waited for me to decide on a stain color. They did an absolutely wonderful job and were super friendly! We will definitely be calling again for any future flooring needs! :)

Home Based Carpet & Flooring LLC
It went great. I called & they were able to come measure the next day, flexible to our schedule. Then they were able to come back & install in less than a week, & got the job finished in one day. Also got a call before & after informing me of what was going on! Very personable great experience!

    Even Flow Remodeling and Repair
The result was as we required and expected. Even Flow stripped then painted the walls, updated the sink outlet (installed an additional outlet too), installed a new disposal, installed new granite counter top and island top and microwave shelf, installed a lighted exhaust fan above the stove top, laid down a new ceramic tile floor, covered the old and cracked ceramic wall tile wit Wainscot, painted the ceiling, rotated our oven 90 degrees and ran a new gas line. All this was done while keeping the mess to a minimum, and while also ensuring we had use of the kitchen at day's end, every day. Even Flow worked with material contractors to help ensure we had quality products to choose from. I must mention the extra mile Even Flow went to in making sure our electrical issues were properly addressed. Ours is an older home, and it needed the extra care Even Flow provided, including correcting installation work by a prior contractor. Even Flow did our bathroom prior to doing our kitchen. I can see the same quality workmanship in both jobs. A big thing is the end-of-day clean up of the work site. We were very glad and appreciative for it. Another big thing is the on-time start of each work day. The job was professionally thought out, and qualitatively rendered. It also was personable and competitively priced. Communication was excellent. I highly recommend Even Flow Remodeling, and I intend to contact it again for another job we are considering having done; our basement.

    Mr Sandless Cincinnati
We are completely disappointed in the job on our floors. Just a few days after they did our floors, our floors look exactly the same as they did before we paid $800 to get them finished. Honestly, my husband and I could have done the same job for around $50 with supplies from Home Depot. Actually, the workers had to leave to get supplies from Home Depot while they were here. I just assumed that for the price we paid, the floors would have looked a lot nicer and lasted. They look so "thirsty" right now.

    Cincinnati Floor & Window Coverings
Matt Bliemeister was recommended to us by our contractor (Oakley Home Improvement/Chris Lewis) who was working on a kitchen remodel for us.  I would not recommend Cincy Floor/Window to anyone I know.  While Matt was very courteous and professional, the work was horrible.  Since the company was busy, he sub-contracted our work out to an independent contractor - a man named "Mario".  The scheduling between the contractor & flooring was non-existent, though I had been told that they always work together.  This disconnect could possibly due to the contractor "Mario" completing the work - but that was my experience.
The flooring went in over 2 or 3 days, but we were not in the home while the work was being completed due to the simulateneous work in process with our kitchen.  Once we were back home, several major problems became readily apparent:
    1.  All the paint on the baseboards was chipped, but instead of allowing us time to fix the trim boards were nailed to the chipped base boards.  We had to re-paint all baseboards painstakingly by hand, whereas if they had simply told us the paint had chipped we could have fixed it prior to the trim boards being affixed.  LOTS extra work for us because of this.
    2.  In many places, the trim boards were not actually affixed/nailed.  Our kids knocked the trim boards down all over the house the first time they played.  Poor attention to detail here.
    3.  Our fireplace in the living room was not fitted properly when the flooring was laid, and 1/2" gaps were all around the marble hearth.  These gaps were not filled, so dirt/debris quickly accumulated there.  Again, just lack of attention to detail.
    4. In one back room we retained carpeting, and leading to this room when the flooring was laid there was a noticable upward slope to the level of the floor, which had never been there before (we have lived in the house 7 years, and I had never noticed ANYTHING there).  I investigated this myself, and could see carboard wedged under the flooring that was laid.
In addition to these problems, after we had been back at the house for a week or so one Sunday night around 5:30 pm we have a knock at our door.  Unannounced, it was the sub-contractor "Mario".  He didn't really explain why he was there, since the work had been already completed, but he announced he had to "re-measure" everything.  All I can deduce is there was a pricing dispute between "Mario" and Matt from Cincy Floor, since "Mario" measured every nook and cranny of flooring.  He wasted 30 minutes of our evening, which I didn't appreciate.
So after all of this, we inform Matt of our concerns.  Again, very polite and professional, but also VERY dismissive of our concerns - saying things like, "Well, you live in an older house, and these things happen."  or "Actually, I think Mario did the right thing with... (xyz)".  His solution was to put a thin line of caulk around the fireplace and nail down the baseboards.  My opinion is that he didn't want to spend any time or resources on a job that was already completed and paid for.  Advice - DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU HAVE EVERYTHING AS YOU LIKE IT!
After several calls, agrees that he will at least send some of his workers over to look at the sloped floor (which was VERY annoying).  While I am at work, they talk to my wife saying they don't want to complete the work, saying if they do anything it will be a waste of time and not fix the floor.  I have to be called at work and talk to the workers to INSIST they pull up the floor and try to fix the slope.  Low and behold, once they actually pull the flooring, they see "Mario" had done poor work and left way too much cardboard under the hardwood, which caused the slope.  The problem was fixed, and it took them 30 minutes, but they didn't want to do any of it and I had to force the issue.
Overall, the work we received and subsequent problem resolution was horrible.  That was my experience with Cincinnati Floor and Window.  Though a sub completed the work, Matt tried all he could to run from the problem instead of just addressing it upfront.  I wouldn't use them again, whether it be the subcontrator "Mario" or Matt Bliemeister himself and his company.  Their commitment to their work and concern for the customer is nonexistant.

    Gramer Hardwood Flooring
We had several quotes for the floors and Jerry was the best value. Jerry and his partner performed work and gave us the three choices of stain on both types of our flooring. The quality of the work was excellent and we have recommended Jerry to several other people. Jerry was knowledgeable about his craft. We will use him for our future needs. He even finished extra steps for us that we had not talked about with him.

I've been happy with them besides the fact that they made a big mess and didn't do exactly what I asked of them. They ran over the cord to my window A/C, so they had to replace that. Also, on a regular basis, they ran over my flower beds when they backed out of my driveway. Lastly, the floor that they put in wasn't sanded down very well at all (they are still not smooth and it's going to have to be re-done).
