Basement Waterproofing reviews in Norwood

    Healthy Basement Concepts,LLC
Jason was very professional, prompt, and was willing to make it as affordable as possible. He even came back to spray for mold again to make sure everything was gone. Since he put in a sump pump and drainage system in the basement of my house there hasn't been a drop of water and the humidity has dropped from 50-60% to 30%. I would highly recommend him for your basement needs.

    Everdry Waterproofing of Cincinnati
I've been waiting a while to write this review because - I keep having to have them come back, and honestly, I've been afraid to be honest since we still have these charlatans in our home. The initial work was done in November of 2014, and here it is July of 2016 and we are still having them out at our home re-doing work for ... I've honestly lost count of how many times. At one point, we called them to repair leaks in our basement, and when they left - they left us with a can of sealant in case we saw any additional leaks (so we could take care of it ourselves I guess) - I wish I was making that up. At this point, I'm waiting for some celebrity to jump out of the bushes because I'm on some ridiculous prank show. When you decide to have a project like this done - you accept certain things like: you're going to lose functionality of your basement while the work is being done/cement drying; they're going to have to dig around the outside of the house - so you're probably going to have to re-landscape your yard; and it's going to cost. But you don't expect to have to lose that basement functionality for 2 years, or to have to re-landscape MULTIPLE times because the crew that you hired is incompetent ( you went with a more expensive company because of that whole "you get what you pay for" thing) . And the service managers we've dealt with? Have done absolutely NOTHING to make us feel like they give a single (edited for propriety) *care about us as a paying customer. They offered us $150 discount on the INSURANCE (a monthly-paid service agreement) for our troubles. On a job that cost OVER $10,000. I could get more back by paying w/ a Capitol One credit card according to Samuel L Jackson. Please - just don't make the same mistake we made. Vet out another company to do the work - don't use Neverdry.

The crew led by foreman Luis Caballero did a great job - very professional and thorough. Luis explained every step clearly and it was very obvious that this group knew what they were doing. The work was finished in record time.  There was no fooling around. Everyone worked hard to complete the repairs. I had blocked the following day to "pick up the pieces" after they left but that was entirely unnecessary - they left our property in better condition than when they came. They landscaped the back with stone and mulch and cleaned up all dirt and debris. This was quite a relief for me since I have a large perennial garden surrounding the work area. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

    VULCAN WATERPROOFING CO
The company was responsive from the beginning as far as scheduling and coming out for an estimate and scheduling and performing the work. The only issue we had was that the men doing the work "scooted" the washer and dryer, scraping our concrete basement floor.  We had a very wet basement and given the wet summer, fall, winter we have had following the work, we are quite happy with the work, would have no qualms recommending this company to others, and in fact have.  We would, without a doubt, use them again if need be.  I love the fact that they are locally owned and operated.

    Everdry Waterproofing of Cincinnati
I hated to spend money on my leaky basement, but I was getting more water leak through my ~100 year old block foundation, even in light rains. So once it became evident that the walls were not going to fix themselves, I decided to hire the best company with the best reputation and the best warratny. Noone could touch Everdry, with their tranferable warranty. They showed up on Monday as scheduled on a cold January. I met with the supervisor every morning and he told what their plan was for that day. They encountered a few problems but they were able to stay mostly on track and finish on Friday of that same week. They did a few extras that I was not expecting, and they did not charge me a single penny more than the estimate. We had snow twice that week but the entire crew showed up on time every day-- heck, they even shoveled my driveway & sidewalk when we got about 2" of snow during the day. In short, the job was done professionally with the utmost competence. Sure I could have gotten the job done for less by hiring a lesser known company. But will they be around in 5, 10 or 20 years, in case I sell the house or encounter a leak? I doubt it. But with EverDry's impeccable reputation, I have everry confidence that they will be there in the future if I need them.

My wife talked to them and she thought they were a little bit brisk and didn't answer a lot of her questions. They came and gave us a quote and then were out in 5-10 minutes so she wasn't too impressed with them. I think they were pretty professional, it was turned around pretty quickly. Something about them turned her off.

He was good, and seemed to be straight forward. He didn't try to sell me services I didn't need and informed me that instead of fixing the basement I should probably address the down spout issue first and take it from there.

    CERTIFIED HOME IMPROVEMENTS/EQUITY REMODEL INC
COMPANY CALLED TO CONFIRM APPOINTMENT ON OCTOBER THE 6TH. I ARGUED WITH THE COMPANY FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES TELLING THEM MY WIFE AND I HAD DIFFERENT SCHEDULES AND WE BOTH WOULD NOT BE THERE. THE COMPANY NEVER SHOWED FOR THE ESTIMATE AND I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL . I TOOK THE TIME TO CLEAN AND PREP THE BASEMENT AND THEY COULD HAVE LEAST CALLED ME.
