    Start to finish we had a great experience with Mr. Appliance. I had never had an issue with an appliance before and wasn't sure who to hire, but they were wonderful to work with! Amanda returned my call within an hour and after determining that I was a new customer, she explained how the process would work, answered all of my questions, and was able to schedule a tech to come out 2 days later. She gave me a 2 hour window and about halfway through gave me a call to update me that my tech was still at his previous job and they would call me back when he was on his way. I received both a phone call from Amanda and a text with my tech's name and photo when he was on his way to our home. Ian was very friendly and courteous. He diagnosed the problem, explained the cost, and had our dryer repaired within a half an hour. I would absolutely hire them again in heartbeat!

    service tech gave a choice of 2 times he could come in the next two days. once he came out and looked at our dishwasher was honest and let us know that while he could fix it, the dishwasher probably wasn't worth spending the money on. 
    we have used their services before for a washing machine and a dishwasher. i will use them again and recommend them to others.

    He was thorough and showed me the problem and also the condition my ice maker was in overall.  He also noticed a lot of heat coming from the fridge due to dirty coils.  He went ahead and cleaned those out too.

    The service went very well. I had them repair 2 refrigerators. One technician came out for the job. He provided good service, was fair and honest. I thought they had good pricing. He was professional and responsive. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

    I called about my washing machine which had stopped working. They were able to schedule someone to come the same day and meet me during my lunch hour. After diagnosing the issue as a broken pump, he replaced the pump quickly. The entire thing took about 1.5 hours. I didn't realize I had to pay by cash or check and didn't bring my checkbook... so the repair man followed me to an ATM and I was able to pay cash.
    While no one likes spending $225 on a washing machine, the same day service was great! I would definitely call them again.

    After struggling with another company for 2 weeks to fix our refrigerator, we called Day in to let us know what the problem was and actually fix it. The repair man was professional and gave me a lot of great information about what was wrong, what caused it, how it could be fixed and what the other company likely didn't do correctly. I had paperwork and our old part from the other company, which he looked over. It seems the other company did not correctly set something after the replacement was installed. He did this quickly, then gave us advice about how to get the fridge cold the fastest way. He also took a look at our coils, which he said the other company should have cleaned, and cleaned them for us free of charge given how much we had already spent with the other company. He also stressed that if we did need them to come back, we would be considered a priority since they had already made one call out.
    Day provided quick, smart and fair service. We will definitely be using them in the future, should we have any more issues.

    The technician made three visits to my house to fix the issues.
    On the first visit to look at the temperature issue, he briefly looked at the refrigerator and decided that the problem was the thermometer probe was defective and charged me to replace it. This new part did not solve the problem.
    On the second visit he brought a new motherboard for the fridge with him and replaced it at a cost of several hundred dollars. During this service call, I mentioned that the ice maker jams occasionally and in response he broke off a plastic guard and said this was a common problem and this would fix it. 
    Unfortunately, the ice maker then started jamming up 100% of the time and I called him back to complain. He came out a third time and replaced the ice maker but charged the cost of the ice maker to me, another $80.
    Shortly after the third visit, the problem with the fridge holding its temperature came back. Before I called him back a FOURTH time, I pulled out the fridge and inspected his installation job of the motherboard - and discovered one of the connectors was not fully pushed down on the connector pins, causing an intermittent failure. I pushed the connector down fully and it has been solid ever since.
    All in all, while he was very prompt and professional, I was not happy with the service that I received and will not be calling him for future service visits.

    CHOICE APPLIANCE REPAIR
    Rodger came out quite a few times in regards to my dishwasher.  He didn't show up a couple times and when I called there was always an excuse that a job went longer than expected.  A phone call to notify me would have been nice.  On one occasion I hadn't heard from him for 2 weeks.  I called the Home warranty company and he hadn't even ordered parts.  So they called him on 3 way calling and we finally set something up.  My dishwasher still wasn't fixed.  He then recommended a second opinion from another service provider.  I will never use this company ever again.

    Well the first time they came out  I thought they fixed the heater, but the tech said its not uncommon for the heater too out again. We had to wait until the following Tuesday to have Day's Co. to out and replace that heater again.

    I wanted to keep this stove that was given to me however, it was leaking gas.  He was able to come out shortly after I called him and he was able to clean the burners so they wer unclogged and the stove would work without giving off fumes. He took his time and did not rush the appointment.
