THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE....PLEASE I AM FOREWARNING PARENTS DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE...THE DAY CARE DIRECTOR IS PSYCHOTIC AND IS ONLY OUT TO PROTECT CORPORATE INTERESTS AND SAFEGUARD HER CAREER. THEY DO NOT THOROUGHLY BACKGROUND CHECK EMPLOYEES..THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND TELL YOU THAT THEIR STAFF ALL HAVE COLLEGE DEGREES WHEN IN FACT SOME OF THEM DO NOT EVEN HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED. DON'T BELIEVE ME? CHECK THEIR STATUS REPORTS ON OHIO DEPARTMENT JOB AND FAMILY SERVICES WEBSITE. THERE WERE AT LEAST 15 COMPLAINTS LODGED ABOUT THIS PLACE LAST YEAR AND I FILED MY OWN WHEN STAFF DENIED THAT 17 MONTH OLD NEARLY BROKE HER ARM ON THEIR GROUNDS EVEN THE DIRECTOR DENIED MY DAUGHTER OBTAINED AN SERIOUS INJURY IN THEIR CARE (A DISLOCATED SHOULDER), I CONTACTED HER SUPERIOR. THIS PSYCHOTIC DAYCARE DIRECTOR CONTACTS CHILDREN SERVICES REPORTING FALSE ALLEGATIONS OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT WHEN IN FACT MY CHILDREN ALL UNDER THE AGE OF 6 YEARS ARE BEING ABUSED AND NEGLECTED ON HER GROUNDS. I'VE RECEIVED 5 INCIDENT (INJURY REPORTS) IN TWO DAYS TIME. I AM WARNING YOU DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER. THEY DO NOT KEEP CHILDREN IN THEIR PERSPECTIVE AGE GROUPS THEY MIX TODDLERS WITH INFANTS WHICH IS HAZARDOUS JUST SO A LAZY STAFF MEMBER CAN LEAVE. THEY MIX 10 TO 12 YEAR OLDS WITH 5 YEAR OLDS AND NOW MY 5 YEAR OLD IS COMING HOME TALKING ABOUT S** AND ACTING OUT WITH HER BROTHER. THIS PLACE IS SICK. IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME AT THIS DUMP.

You go right in with an appointment, no waiting , the Dr. listens to your concerns asks questions about progress and proceeds with the treatment, also wrote up a plan to take home to exercise the problem areas. Over-all very good experience.

It went great.  He gave an in depth explanation of what hypnosis is and what it is not.  He fully explained the process of what would happen and made sure I was comfortable.  I was very very impressed with his knowledge of phobias, fear and anxiety issues.  He really knew his stuff!
The hypnosis is very interesting.  It's not like you're knocked out or asleep.  It felt more like I was resting - the most comfortable relaxation you can imagine, that you just don't want to move (but you can). He gave me some suggestions during the session and the next day I was blowing my hair dry and found myself repeating these things subconsciously, almost like a mantra.  Kind of like when you hear a song on the radio and it gets stuck in your head.  I thought that was really cool.
Since the hypnosis I feel like my generalized anxiety is much improved.  I feel like I'm just not worrying about things as much as I normally would.  Last week I was in an intense situation at work which caused me to have to work late.  People were waiting on me to get my task done.  In the past I would have felt nauseous and probably would have been running to the restroom every 20 minutes.  Instead, I said, I got this...and went to work on my task.  That was very different for me.  No intense fear or worry about "can I do it"..."what if I mess up"...etc.  That was a great feeling.
The phobia is improved, but not removed.  It has been a couple months since my first visit and I have recently decided to go back for more.  I have seen more improvement with this than 20 years of cognitive therapy.

He's fabulous. He's excellent, he's got a good bedside manner, he is thorough, he answers all your questions, he has the patient in mind completely first from beginning to end, some of the nurses complain about this because he would make them do so many extra steps but that was because the patient came first. I was really impressed with him. He's really kind, comforting, good, and considerate even of the people that are waiting for the surgery to end, he kept them updated. I really like him the moment I met him. He made sure I understood what was going on. He's kind of shy, he's a man of few words but he gets his point across very clearly and precisely. A friend had recommended him to me so the whole group of friends had all gone to him. I'll definitely recommend him to family and friends.

From start to finish the christ ,auburn hospital is a nice environment to have to go to.They tell you about construction and parking, and even offer valet parking. After registration it goes like clock work, not too bad of a wait, and they treat you with respect and answer any questions , good staff.

They were just very good with my son. They had lots of different activities for him to do. They had Spanish, and he was learning Spanish. The teachers were kind, and I felt like they were qualified to do what they were doing. It was kind of expensive.

While I was very satisfied with the physical therapy, and mostly satisfied with the nursing quality, the total experience was adequate at best with the scheduling times of visits and changes to them a distraction when continuity and structure would have helped my recovery more.

He was very good with working on my knees. As a result of his help, he helped me with making sure I didn't lose a lot of muscle. He understood what therapy would be more effective for my knees. His office staff is good and did their best at getting me in. His punctually is ok. I sometimes have to wait, but it?s because he is giving his attention to a patient who needs it. I can appreciate that. I will use him again in the future.

Dr. Stambough did diagnose the trochanteric bursitis that resulted from a backpacking injury but the cortisone shots did not help. While I was being seen for the leg, I injured my shoulder badly. I felt like Dr. Stambough doesn't listen (he always seemed to be in a big hurry to get to the next room) and he apparently didn't treat the injury aggressively enough. He didn't insist on a cortisone shot immediately, as I've now been told he should have, and instead sent me to a mediocre physical therapist that told me if it hurts, not to do it. In the meantime, I underwent several expensive tests (including an arthrogram--don't EVER let them do this to you) and I ended up with a frozen shoulder that needed intensive physical therapy (even if it hurts!).

I started physical therapy, twice a week for two weeks and they showed me how to use my legs so that I could get the muscle use back, because when I had knee surgery it weakened my muscles. I also started outpatient physical therapy.
