    Norwalk Heating Co Inc
THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Every time we give these folks a chance, they let us down. They don't return our phone calls, even when we indicate the seriousness of our problem. When we give them feedback about their poor customer services, they tell us how busy they are helping all their other customers, thus making us feel unimportant as equally paying customers. (It's their "go to" excuse: "We're busy helping all the other people who REALLY need help; your issue isn't urgent to us," is what they're really saying.) They don't communicate well. They ignore the issue rather than calling to tell you. For example, their technicians run late most of the time, and they don't tell you. Instead, they let you sit and wait for hours upon hours. Their technicians tend to show up 2 hours after the end of the window they said they'd be there. Also, one of their technicians not only left the appliance unsecured with all the wires hanging out and screws out, but he installed some wires backwards, so we had to pay another company $100 to fix it. Our appliances have had significant problems ever since we started working with these folks. This company just doesn't improve, despite the feedback we've given them. Their customer service is as poor today as it was over a year ago, and in fact, it's worse. We ordered a needed appliance (we only used this company out of urgency), and the technician assured us he'd take care of us (after we told him how bad our experiences have been with this company), and he never got back to us. That was about 2 weeks ago. He said we'd hear back within a day or two. They forget about you! And when you give them feedback, they get defensive. Using this company is just not worth the constant let down and disappointments, not to mention questionable competency of their technicians. Our recommendation: Use someone else--anyone else. Anyone is better than Norwalk Heating Co. Inc.

I emailed Torpedo Heat several times about the problems that I was having with a heater that I had purchased used from someone. He emailed back and gave some suggestions on what to do, I explained to him I had seen his you tube videos and was still having problems. I called him and described what was happening with my heater, explained that everything he told me to do worked for the first few cycles of the heater then it started to malfunction again. He explained to me the heater I had was a very old heater and that most of the parts were not available any more. I explained that I had bought parts online from other sources, then he figured out over the phone after I told him what parts I purchased. That the parts were indeed the wrong parts for my heater, they look the same but were not compatible with my heater(I should have him first). Torpedo Heat is a very knowledgeable about these heaters, in my gut I knew he was the right man to fix my heater. He is an honest man and cares about doing right by his customers, anyone who needs to have a heater worked on parts ordered or bought through him he will more than gladly help you out. With that being said, I would not hesitate to call him or have him work on my heater again as he did on 1/21/2018. He got me back up and running with my heater. Many thanks Torpedo Heat your aces in my book, keep up the good work.

    C.C. Real Estate Services
I have begged and pleaded with Steve C. the owner to five me receipts for the $4000 I spent in labor, parts, well pump, water heater, faucet, and wiring. Steve kept playing games and would not give me a single receipt and he tried to talk and tell me how much of a favor he was doing me. He left broken water lines, his mess from working on the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. He seemed very meticulous and knowledgable at first very generous and genuine. I am usually a great judge of character, but I got scammed. He put the wrong wires together on the call swithch and I kept calling him for help approximately a month and a half because it caused two electrical fires and we were running out of water every single day. I have proof of the text messages and phone call interactions . Finally he came back by acd changed the burnt switch and uncrossed the wires and it worked great until I just found out yesterday that the well pump he bought over the course of the summer is burnt up . I'm screwed because I have him 500$ for a brand new one and he need gave me a receipt and I wasn't home when he brought the new pump home so it could be one off off old well he dug up. If my water heater goes out I'm done for because he REFUSES after nicely begging him as a single mother trying to keep my head above water. I've even had prior look at it first installed and they said "Jess, that is no a new water heater." I trusted him and he knew when I called him I told him my dad died it makes me sick that someone is so unprofessional that they can't give someone $4000 in receipts for stuff they paid for and act like you put brand new parts in my house. He could be doing this just be aware ask for receipts don't want other people parts that could be refurbished put in your home when you're paying for brand new and trusting a 5 star company!!!!. I got scammed and robbed.

    Hartland HVAC Services Inc.

Another company came to check our whole house AC and clean my long drier ducts in 2014.  They did some "maintenance" on my AC, and I signed a service contract with them.  When this other company returned in summer of 2015, they discovered "problems" and gave an estimate of almost $2,000 to fix or around $8,000 to replace our AC.  Needless to say, I thought it was strange that they had worked on it the previous summer and now there was a problem..  Called Harland to get a second opinion.  When the service man checked (sorry...don't remember his name but he was very professional) he discovered NO PROBLEMS with our AC.  He could have just agreed and made Hartland $.  HOWEVER, I will now call Harland whenever I need to and highly recommend them because he was HONEST!  It is not often you can trust a company, but I certainly will recommend and trust Hartland!

The technician came out and did an HVAC Tune Up, which is more of an inspection.
He inspected my head pump and AC to make sure everything was working correctly and operating as efficiently as possible.
He did not rush through anything and completed the inspection to my satisfaction.

    Hartland HVAC Services Inc.
Heartland came highly recommended from friends and co-workers so I called and left a message with their after hours support line on a Saturday to see about getting a quote. Sean contacted me the following Monday via email as I had requested as my job requires me to be on the phone a lot and I didnt want to miss the call. I set up a time for him to come by and take a look. He was punctual, and as soon as he saw what we had going on he had ideas on a furnace/AC solution.

The furnace is in an extended crawl space about 4 ft from floor to ceiling and only accessible from the outside of the house through a storm cellar door. Sean suggested they hang the furnace from the joists in the basement, and through looking at how our ductwork was laid out where the problem areas heating and cooling wise, were in the house. Also said the job would take 2 days in large part because of the removal of the 50 year old monster of a furnace that needed to be removed first.

I was not home when they removed it and I am not real certain how they were able to get it out of there, but when I got home from work the first day it was out and the new furnace was hung already! The installers were cleaning up for the day when I got home, but dropped everything when I asked them how it was going, they took me into the basement and explained everything they did, and what the plan was for the next day. The job was completed the next day as promised, everything was cleaned up, as if they were never there. The installers were punctual, professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves.

I highly recommend Hartland if you have heating and AC needs!

We now have dependable heat - since our oil burning furnaces have broken down - usually on the coldest days of the year - of course. The infrared tube heaters are doing exactly what we wanted them to do - supplement our heating sources - making our employees comfortable working - especially on cold, snow melting vehicles. The employees were very friendly and informative. We also use this business to help maintain our home heating system.

They came promptly and unclogged the drain line from the A/C unit that was causing the water on the basement floor. They fixed the problem fast and replaced our filter all at a very reasonable price. Would use them again.

    Columbus Worthington Air
From the receptionist to the sales person to the installers to the service technicians, Columbus Worthington Air has been an excellent company with which to work. I met with three other companies before selecting CWA. I made my selection based upon price and customer service - CWA beat the competition on both counts. Their customer service has remained strong. I'd highly recommend considering CWA for new install and/or maintenance
