    The day after I had my truck tuned-up here, the engine light came on. I took it back to inform them about the issue and all they wanted to do was schedule  me to have it looked at. They said, "It has nothing to do with the tune-up." These people are only interested in taking as much money from you as they can. Further research shows that it was because of them the engine light was on.

    60.00hybrid Honda's, so I called Jack Matia again, and talked to the same servive man, and he said that they were referring to the battery under the hood which is a 100 dollar part, but onm the web site they had prorated the cost depending on how ild the car he ordered the new battery that I needed.. I immediately called Victory Honda in Sandusky Ohio, which is closer and I was treated mych better, and was told that he would research it and see if he could plea with Honda, and see if they would reduce the cost some because it was only 5 yeaqrs old..I called back Jack Matia Honda to have them cancel the part and was told that if they had already put the hazardous material on the delivery truck I would owe them for the shippimng costs. which was 160.00 I had just talked to the guy an hour before.... so he said he would call them and with any luck it had not been loaded yet.. he called back and said I was in luck, it was NOT loaded yet so I didn't owe them anything...I took it to Victory Honda in Sandusky, and there were updates available for my car, which they did, and the light went out and everything was fine again..I had them do a couple more things for me, to fix mistakes I made, like removing valve stem extr\enders and all together.. the total bill was UNDER $200.00!!! NOT $2,500.00 like Jack Matia told me.... I will never step foot on Jack Matia's property again, and will advise all my friends to stay away as well

    Purchased car it had transmission issues and aftermarket work...I was swindled into getting the warranty for 2100 just to be told that nothing was covered when stuff went wrong with vehicle within weeks of purchase........wanted to take to small claims court when they took tranny out they misplaced pieces just let engine hang didn't block it up or anything broke motor mounts and broke high pressure lines for power steering.....pretty much if your a friend of the family go for it....if not be prepared to get screwed

    I have been using this shop for over 10 years now. I usually make an appointment and they have the car done by the end of the day. They always call me to explain EXACTLY what is wrong with or need to be done with the car. They have work on both Honda and Hyundai cars that have been in the family. They will also rebuild an engine after catastrophic failure (like timing belt/water pump failure). They might not be the cheapest shop around but they are more than competitive with the factory shop and I know who I am dealing with all of the time.

    The service manager was extremely rude. Since I have a luxury conversion van, a lot of customized things need special instructions. So, before taking the van in I asked if they would be willing to contact the service department of the people who did the customizations over in Indiana. They said they would. When I went to pick up the van, they did not fix anything. They wanted to show me the tire first. I asked why they didn't fix the turn signal and they said they couldn't figure out the electrical system. I asked if they called the service department direct phone number I gave them that they said they would contact. They said they didn't need to talk to them because they were "idiots".  I said why were they idiots and how did he know that if he never contacted them. He said they were idiots because they didn't provide him with an electrical blueprint. I reminded him that he said he would call them, and since he didn't, how did he know they wouldn't provide the blueprints?  At that point, I told him I just wanted the van back since he was being so rude and didn't do what he promised. He then called me an idiot because I wanted the van back without the tire being fixed. I told him that I lived 1 minute away and didn't want them touching the van anymore.  (I was able to drive the van all of the way home from a place 1 hour away, so the tire was not too bad that I couldn't drive on it.) He actually yelled at me and I had to insist that he give me my van back.When I finally got the van back, the mirror that had the turn signal problem was actually broken! The glass wasn't broken before I brought it in.  I decided I just wanted out of there. I was actually concerned about his temper and was afraid it would escalate to the point that I or my little kids would be in danger.  I also didn't want them doing anything else to sabotage my van. Later, when I had another place look at the mirror, they told me it was a custom mirror so it would cost over $400 to get fixed! So, I will never, never, never recommend Smiley Automotive for anything at all.  I should file criminal charges, but I'm actually scared of that man and decided to just never return to them.

    I had taken my 2007 Prius to the Toyota dealer in Sandusky for routine maintenance a couple of times (60,000 mile service and routine oil change); and both times the dealer claimed that the coolant pump was and quot;leakingand quot; and recommended that I should replace it at a cost of approximately $400 at the least.
    I took my Prius to Tom Weeks and his partner Kevin at Alternative Solutions Car Care to verify the condition of my water pump because even though they are a long way from my home in Norwalk, OH, I trust their expertise in Toyotas, I trust their honesty and ethics.
    Alternative Solutions Car Care inspected the coolant/water pump seal, performed a pressure test on the pump, and determined that the very slight seepage at the seal was normal. They told me that a minimum amount of seepage such as that which they noted at the seal on my coolant/water pump was not unusual, but almost always self-limiting and self-sealing. The reported to me that the pressure test indicated that there was more than adequate pressure at the pump, and that there was no need to replace the pump -- as the dealer had told me.
    When I came back to pick up my car, there was NO CHARGE for the inspection and pressure test. I was flabbergasted! They could have very well charged me, at the very least, one hour's worth of time for what they did, and I would have been pleased and happy to pay their charge. But this is the kind of people and organization that Alternative Solutions Car Care is. They are extraordinary in every way.
    It is a genuine pleasure to deal with a company that I trust absolutely with my automobile, and owners whose expertise and word I trust without question. No matter the inconvenience, I will take my car the 85 miles from my home to their place of business whenever I need service on my 2007 Toyota Prius.

Steinle Chevrolet Buick LLC gave me the best trade in and the best price on the new cars; that's why I kept going back and getting all three cars from them. This is where I would go back when I want my next car. I got a 2010 Camaro out here and I might be getting a 2012, and I would buy it from them again.

    The appointment was on an emergency basis and was handled professionally. We received instructions on what to expect since both sensors were replaced. The Jeep has 310,000 miles and has been maintained about 95% of the time through the Baumann Norwalk Service deartment. We also have a 178,000 mile Jeep that is maintained by them and recently parted with a Jeep that 321,000 miles on it. All of these vehicles, in fact, were maintained by the Norwalk Jeep dealer. Baumann is dependable!!!

    I called around and got estimates at a number of other places; then called Warehouse Tire.  They beat all the other prices (lower,) and could get me right in and did the work right the first time.  I have no complaints.  Perhaps 'free' would be better, but they have to operate as a business, otherwise they will not survive.
