    Tony Newman Roofing was very prompt and well organized. The quality of his companies work was exceptional. The crew showed up @ 6:00 am and the roof was completed by 11:00 am the gutters and downspouts were completed a couple of hours later. The roofers left the work site cleaner than they found it, nails and roofing scrap completely removed. The whole process was seamless and expedient. I will keep Tony Newman on my list of go to companies for roof work. I am extremely pleased with the overall experience, thank you.

    Matt and his team were WONDERFUL! We had some siding damage due to heavy winds and he was able to help us through the whole insurance process. His team was very efficient and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. The crew was VERY respectful around us and our young daughter which at the time I didn't think was important but means so much to us.     It has been five years, and we've had no issues. Everything has been great. We had a minor issue with the soffit, and he came right out, no questions asked and came to fix it. I found him to be honest, professional, clean and that's why I've used him multiple times. Everything still looks as good as it did when they finished the job. They did some custom work on my porch and they go above and beyond to make it look beautiful. I would definitely use them again or recommend them.

    A great team! I enjoyed having this contractor complete my siding install. These men are skilled installers, carpenters and finishers who are confident and thorough in their work. This company does the job right and will not cover up rotted wood or structural problems. If a problem arises, Steve will make recommendations to the homeowner. They cleaned up each day and communicated to me when they would arrive the next day. Steve consciously made sure that all materials needed were on hand prior to his arrival on site. I scheduled the install with them in April, but due to siding installations before me and weather, my home was completed in September. Included in the siding install was 2 exterior doors and they were finished professionally. If you must wait, please be patient, these installers are worth their weight in gold! I am including pictures of my home before and after.

    Because the roof of our circa 1917 house has a large surface due to the angles of the roof, and water flows into gutters that aren't very long, we had problems with overflow and sometimes water in the basement whenever we got a large amount of rain. We called BHD to see about installing wider gutters.
    They took down the old gutters, installed bigger ones, and reconfigured the downspouts to improve the flow. Because the old roof gutters and the porch (whose gutters we did not replace) shared the same downspout, separating the downspouts seemed like a better idea. This involved a lot of bending and shaping of the downspouts, and also uncovered an area under where the original downspout had been that had no vinyl siding on it. Also when the job was done we noticed dents in the aluminum that covered one of the fascia boards.
    Jim gave us a fair estimate, and when we saw the dent in the fascia aluminum and the missing siding, he had those cosmetic issues fixed without extra charge.
    Jim was a great person to work with, as were the men who did the work. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat.
    We used the SnapFix app from Angie's List, so I didn't need to do any research on Angie's website to find a good company close to where I live.

    I recently (10/4) purchased the Big Deal for Express Gutter Systems, but have been unable to get them to perform the service. It has been a pretty frustrating experience and the work hasn't been done, so I'd like a refund of my payment. After the purchase, I got a message within the Angie's List website saying that someone would call to schedule service. I didn't receive a call, so I called the provided number and left a voicemail. Someone called a couple of days later and said they'd be out on Friday.

    Friday passed and they didn't show, so I called again. Once again I left a voicemail. I waited a few days and left a second voicemail. A couple of days later I received a call back. They acted as if we hadn't had an appointment set up and re-scheduled for Tuesday. Wednesday rolled around and still nothing. I called an left another voicemail (no one seems to answer during business hours). This time (11/7) I got an Angie's List message saying that they couldn't get through using my phone number. I provided another number (11/8) and still haven't heard back (11/28).

    After the salesman came to meet with me, and signed the deal, I found that the neighbor across the street had had to
    pay $1,500 more for less linear feet than I had installed. What you pay, evidently, is a function of how well you bargain with the salesman.
    The installation was okay, though the installers left debris -- as well as some of their tools.
    The system does indeed keep leaves out of the gutter.
    However, it failed miserably with snow and ice. It does not drain well, when the roof is snow covered -- resulting in icicles all the way around the house.
    I called to ask for some kind of repair re: the icicle buildup. I noted that, with my former system I did not have icicles -- plus, that the house next door with a competing Gutter Guard system has no icicles and ice buildup; nor does the house across the street with a LeafGuard system. The phone rep said he was sorry, but he couldn't do anything.
    I then asked for instructions on requesting a refund -- since I live in NE Ohio, and snow/ice are the norm here. I would prefer to have the system I had before -- the gutters and guards that were installed when the house was new. The rep said he would take my request to the manager and would get back to me.
    Obviously I am NOT satisfied with the system. Before, I had no icicles and ice buildup. Now, my gutters won't drain at all in snowy/icy weather.

    K Guard Leaf Free Gutter Systems
    We contacted the company, among 2 others, for an estimate on the gutter work. The company quickly responded and came to do an estimate on a Saturday as requested. The company offers a variety of gutters designed to reduce or prevent cleaning from leaves etc. We chose the most expensive gutter, the K guard. The gutter is high quality material, somewhat over sized, and engineered to allow water to enter but not debris. We live in a heavily wooded area and I look forward to these gutters working as described. This same gutter is being on some government buildings in Ohio.
    The application was somewhat complex, with dormers and water sheds onto adjacent roofs. The company estimated that they could begin work in about 3 weeks from the date of estimate, which they did. They accomplished the job in one day and removed all debris. The job was very professional and I would use them again. We certainly could have chosen a less expensive gutter and provider but are happy with the result so far.

    We actually had him out to give us an estimate about a year before we had the work done. He was very professional, he knew exactly what we needed, and didn't pressure us to purchase anything else.
    He called frequently during the year to check in with us to see if we were ready for the work yet, so we always had his number available, and the needed work was always on our mind. So....finally, we agreed on a date to have the work done. He came out during the day while we were at work, got the job done, cleaned up so well that we didn't even realize he had been there!
    He emailed an invoice, and made the whole process very convenient for us...which is SO important as far as we're concerned.
    Highly recommend!
