    The service call went well, they were able to make it out a day early to assess the problem. The valve for the ice maker was frozen and leaking water into the bottom of the refrigerator. They suggested to defrost it and retest. It fixed the problem, no more leaks. I will definately call them again.

    RUSH APPLIANCE SERVICE
    Our 9-year-old refrigerator left a big puddle on the floor the night before last.  My husband had tried to fix it, thinking it was either the icemaker or the defrost cycle, but was unable to figure it out.  Hubby guessed it was the defroster because it was dry all day, but we woke up to a big puddle again this morning.  I called about 5 companies listed on Angie's list and got voicemail on all of them.  
    When Mike called today at 5 pm about our inquiry, I told him that we have somebody else coming tomorrow.  He asked what the problem was.  I explained it to him, and he proceeded to tell me what was wrong with the fridge.  I put hubby on the phone, and Mike told him exactly how to fix it!
    Who does that???  
    You can bet that next time we need an appliance repair, Rush Appliance will be the first company we call.  It was like he gave us a gift of $50 or more!

    They came the same day even though they had to kind of force their schedule.  I told him he didn't have to come the same day but he decided it was important enough so he came.  Very professional and courteous.  Said it was an old freezer that couldn't be repaired or recharged since it had R-12 in it.  Gave us our options.

    We have a 10+ year old Fisher Paykel washing machine. We have had 6 to 8
    breakdowns with it since we got it new but it was always easy to fix.
    This time the self diagnostics didn't work so I called Advanced
    Appliance about coming to look at it. The gentleman that answered the
    phone suggested that with the initial service call, a return visit with
    the parts to fix it, and the cost of parts and labor I might want to
    reconsider. I then called another appliance repair outfit because I
    wasn't quite ready to give up. They came out and found several things
    wrong. At that point, $65 later, I decided to take the advice from
    Advanced Appliance.
    I can't speak to their prices or service
    but I can say that they appear to put the customer's best interest ahead
    of a desire to make money off them needlessly.
    I would call on them again since they appear to be honest and willing to forgo business if its in the customers best interest.

    The company was very responsive. My call was returned within 24 hours. Mike showed up promptly - and had even come prepared with a replacement ice-maker. Once he started working on my frig he discovered the problem was in the supply line and a filter and not the actual ice-maker. He made the necessary repairs and saved me the cost of replacing a fairly expensive ice maker.

    He replaced a couple of parts on the refrigerator and freezer. He had to come back quite a bit due to having to order the parts and installing them. He did a good job and I was happy with the service.

    The ice maker in my freezer was not working. I had to turn off the water line since when it would run the hose in the back would pop off and spray water.Bob pulled apart the inlet conection (?) and fixed the clog or frozen bit.
    Bob arrived on time. He was professional, curtiouse and showed me what he did so that I could fix it myself if it happens again.

    Dishwasher was leaving a white residue on all dishes, pans and glassware. He gave suggestions over the phone to try and fix the problem. When those did not work, he came right out. We have also had this business out for dryer and once before for the dishwasher. Very nice man and would recommend to anyone.

    THE APPLIANCE STORE I PURCHASED UNIT FROM RECOMMENDED A LOCAL REPAIR MAN THAT RETURNED 1 CALL IN THREE WEEKS. I NEVER DID TALK TO HIM. SELECTED THIS COMPANY AS THE HIGHEST RATED COMPANIES ON ANGIE'S LIST DID NOT SERVICE MY AREA. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WAS HELPFUL AND COMMUNICATED THE PRICE INCLUDED PARTS. THE REPAIR MAN TELEPHONED AHEAD OF ARRIVING AS INSTRUCTED AND WAS PUNCTUAL. HE QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND REPLACED THE DEFROST THERMOSTAT. THE FINAL BILL INCLUDED A CHARGE FOR PARTS CONTRARY TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP'S ASSERTION THE PRICE QUOTED INCLUDED PARTS. I WOULD RECOMMEND & WOULD USE THIS ORGANIZATION AGAIN IF FOR NO OTHER REASON THEY PROVIDED PROMPT RESPONSE, KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO REPAIR AND MADE THE REPAIR IN ABOUT 35 MINUTES. WELL WORTH THE PIECE OF MIND THAT I WASN'T STRUNG ALONG BY THE FIRST REPAIR MAN I CONTACTED. VERY SATISFIED BUT, MORE THAN I EXPECTED AND HOPED TO PAY.

    THEY CHARGE $75 FOR A SERVICE CALL WHICH IS THREE TIMES MORE THAN THE PERSON I USUALLY USE! THEY HAD A TOUGH TIME COMMITTING WHEN THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO COME AND DO THE REPAIRS. I ENDED NOT HAVING THEM COME OUT.
