    Elyria Fence Inc
Horrible customer service! Our fence replacement was quoted (in person) in February, and contracted (with deposit paid) in June. At that point, they told us it would be 12 weeks for installation. Later, based on info provided by salesman, we re-arranged vacation travel plans to accommodate installation week of September 24th. Nothing. Now, they say it could MAYBE be late October. By phone, "Mike" said we would be placed on the "Ooops!" list (suggesting expedited service). Two more phone calls later, still nothing. I've never seen a more indifferent, argumentative approach to customer relations.

    All Mark Fence
Everything went great! There was a slight error in communication, but Mark was more than happy to address the issue and move forward with our fence installation. Thank you for the beautiful fence and quality work, Mark!

    Great Lakes Fence Co
Rich came to our house, measured and gave us an estimate. He was very nice and professional. The installers arrived a couple weeks later and had the fence installed in about 5 hours. They did a very good job.

    Independence Fence
We are extremely please with the finished look. We received three bids on this job. We chose Independence Fence for several reasons; They were competitively priced. They carried American made products. They are a small company where quality and workmanship truly matter. The owner, Steve, not only sold us the job, he was on site everyday helping with installation.

R&T did a great job. When weather delayed the initial appointment to set the posts, we were promptly rescheduled for the next day that the weather broke. In addition, they worked with us to save all the trees. A solution was proposed to box out certain trees instead of cutting them down. That was a huge plus for us. I would highly recommend them.

    Garrity Painting
This is our second time hiring Garrity Painting. They did such a great job on our house that we called them back up when it came time to paint our fence. Now this is a huge, wooden fence enclosing our wooded lot. John, Mark, and the rest of the crew did an outstanding job. They are fun, friendly, professional, and consistently do a great work. We will definitely be using them for our future painting projects!

Northeast Ohio Fence & Deck, Inc
They installed an approximately 60? long, 6? high Western Red Cedar Board on Board Fence with 1? overlap board spacing.  Since new fence would sit on land with an elevation change, I asked them to keep the top of the fence level, so I could fill in the dips in the ground later and end up with a ?level? fence.  This required installing the fence posts first, then cutting each post as needed so they would all be level with the top of the fence.  I wanted the pickets a few inches off the ground to keep the pickets from drawing moisture from the ground.  Northeast Ohio Fence & Deck Co. did everything I asked for.  The fence was installed on schedule, exactly as specified, the installers were pleasant, their workmanship was excellent and the price was reasonable.  And, the installers didn?t complain when I insisted on checking the depth of each post hole myself.  :-)

Note:  Cedar pickets are normally attached to pressure treated posts and rails.   I specified stainless steel nails because home use pressure treated lumber is now preserved with Alkaline Copper Quaternary (ACQ) rather than the old compound that leached arsenic.  ACQ is better for the environment but is corrosive to metal.    The very best nail to use with the new pressure treated lumber is stainless steel, no blacking of the wood, no risk of early structural failure and it only adds a little bit to the cost of the fence.  There are other nails that will work with ACQ but stainless steel is the best.

    R & T Fence Co Inc
This was one of those rare experiences with a contractor when everything went well. Kirk, their salesman came out and measured, showed some samples and made a few suggestions. One of those suggestions was to obtain a boundary survey of our property. Since we love our neighbors, but hate the deer we decided that was an excellent suggestion to answer any current or future property line disputes. After the survey, Kirk came back and re-measured and re-quoted since we gained property. Three weeks later, the posts were set, and one week after that the fence was completely installed. Keith and his crew walked through the entire project with us before they began, including the relocation of a 1,000 pound boulder. Using common sense, they up-ended the boulder and worked in the rain on a Saturday to complete the project. Their care and attention to detail showed in the straight lines and careful spacing of the pickets. Feeling that one of the gates was too high from the ground, I called R&T and they were out two days later to make it complete to my satisfaction.
I would highly recommend R&T Fence Company.

    Budget 1 Fence
We contracted Budget one to fence in our backyard. After constant delays we finally asked for our deposit (2000) back. We keep hearing the check is in the mail but to date we have not received our money.

Amazing! R&T Fence truly exceeded my expectations! Jeff was easy to talk to and always available for a quick question regarding the project. This was a massive fence, spanning 575' around our property and across occasional uneven terrain. They were on schedule, and the crew that came out were really great guys! The fence construction was impeccable, straight as an arrow. Even when following the contour of a ditch, the planks remained inline and transitioned perfectly with the rest of the fence. The 4' and 10' gates are really solid! The frame of the gates were welded metal. The solid board design of the gates hid the metal framework so that from the outside, all you see is flush wall of wooded planks. Seriously, the gates are amazingly crafted. I highly recommend R&T Fence CO.
