Countertop Installation reviews in North Olmsted

MARQUARD HOME IMPROVEMENT & REMODELING was amazing from the beginning interview to the final touches. Shawn was always on time and on budget. He saw our vision, suggested further improvements and then ran with it to help us to achieve our perfect kitchen we have waited over 20 years for. The work performed was professional and meticulous, when something went wrong he was here to make it right. The crew was very knowledgeable and approachable for questions or concerns. Our kitchen was done as promised and on time.

Ownership is a joke. Place does not back up their work and it seems to blame customers for their screw ups. Pay the extra few bucks if needed, they are untimely, disorganized and it starts from the top down. They are nice until there is an issue, whether it's time or their product and work. Specifically Angelo the owner. Do not make the mistake to use them, all countertops will eventually look nice, but don't risk having an issue that they WILL NOT fix. Countertop cuts are all off measurement, and we already paid them. Too late to try and back out after they won't stand by their work. Do not use them!

    Breitenbach Kitchen & Bath
It went great! . A couple of times we asked Lorrie to have Terry return for something minor, after the completion date and each time they followed through without hesitations or questions. It was a pleasure working with the Breitenbach team!! Would recommend them highly.

As with our previous experience with Marquard Home Improvement and Remodeling, everything went very well. Always on time and there was maybe one day they didn't/couldn't work. This job took over two weeks, but we wanted the work done right and I'm very satisfied with the results. My only issue was that I didn't ask for and wasn't given any of the instructions/papers for the faucets, lights, etc. in case I need to make repairs in the future.

    JMAC Home Services

JMAC Home Services renovated our full bathroom.  I gutted the bathroom down to the studs.  JMAC took it from there.  They updated the entire bathroom which included updating/adding new shutoff valves, installing new tub, drywall, ceramic wall tile around the tub/shower, ceramic floor tile, the vanity, vanity top, faucets, vanity mirror, light fixture, light/exhaust fan with timer, toilet, baseboard, and door.

Working with Jim and Doug was a great experience.  They did excellent work and were easy to work with.  They showed up as planned and were in communication throughout the entire process.  Our bathroom had a small closet with a door between the shower and the wall.  The closet was very small, dark, and hard to access.  Doug recommended we remove the door to open up the closet making it easier to access.  It was a great suggestion!  It took about 2 1/2 weeks to complete the bathroom start to finish.  We were very happy with the finished product.  We already have plans for JMAC to update another bathroom.

We got an estimate for a total bath remodel over 1 year ago, but due to a series of unforeseen circumstances, we never had the work done. When we were finally able to proceed, we called Jim, left a message, and he returned our call promptly. Fortunately he had saved the original estimate that he had given us and agreed to do the work, although he was not available until February 2015. Jim and Doug started in early February. They tore everything out--toilet, shower, vanity, baseboards, mirror, medicine cabinet, storage cabinet, and tile flooring. They updated the electrical wiring and insulated before they replaced the shower--they relocated the fan and vented it to the outside--repaired the holes in the ceiling and walls and primed the walls--relocated the light fixture--tiled and grouted the floor--replaced the toilet--painted and replaced the baseboards--did some necessary plumbing repairs and then installed a new vanity. We didn't get the mirrored medicine cabinet until after they finished, but they came back a few days later and installed it for us. Jim always kept us up to date and patiently answered all our questions. He and Doug were a pleasure to do business with. Their work was careful and meticulous and I would definitely hire them again.

Everything went extremely well. It was a pleasure working with Brent. He was easy to get a hold off & was constantly checking on the job to see how it was going. He had some great ideas on what to install & how to design the shower & floor. Steve, who did much of the work was always on time & worked really hard to make sure that everything was just the way we wanted it. Brent would do the same, making sure everything was just right.

Definitely have Brent & Steve do work for us in the future.

Custom Design Countertops responded in a timely manner when contacted through Angie's List.  He arrived on time for the appointment, and measured the space.  He contacted his supplier in order to inform us of which finishes and which edges would be available immediately, and which would require a couple of weeks.  He was able to provide us with an immediate quote, and we were given the option of picking up or having the finished counters delivered.  We are currently requesting quotes for the job, and will be deciding on the contractor shortly. We were favorably impressed with Custom Design Countertops.

As stated above, the bathroom needed to be completely torn down to the bare studs, a door removed to allow for enlarging the shower.  Plumbing fixtures needed to be moved to accommodate the new shower configuration.  A back wall was added to the shower to allow for moving a heat vent on the floor.  A half wall was built as part of the shower for the vanity to be attached to and glass doors and marble were made part of the shower.  A new vanity mirror with two light sconces was put up, a new vanity with banjo top, and new toilet installed.  Light switches had  to be moved and made separate from the current switches. A combination heat light and vent was placed in the ceiling and can lights in shower. A brand new closet cabinet was built behind the door and new tiles put  down on the floor.  All of this came at a very reasonable price especially compared to the other estimates we received.
Ron the salesman was very helpful with the design and throughout the whole project.  The workmen, Bert and Miguel were wonderful workers.  They arrived on time every day, worked until everything that could be done that day was finished.  They communicated with us about everything being done so that when problems arose, they were handled smoothly.  We have been completely pleased with the work and plan to use this company again for future projects.

    Powell Remodeling
Overall we felt things went very well and we are delighted with the end result. we did have a few communication issues along the way but they were resolved relatively quickly. One of the reasons we picked powell over our second choice was that they had people that would help us make choices along the way. Mike met us at the granite place and helped us choose our slab, met us at the backsplash place to help with that decision as well and had paint and stain swatches so we could match everything. the rail was built by a team of amish workman that did a terrific job in a short period of time. they cleaned up at the end of each day and were able to work around our 3 large dogs without any issues. If you are not sure what is happening with timing or where you are actually supposed to meet people to pick out things, Heather the office manager was very helpful.
